I still just have to rub my eyes everytime i see justin bowing down to whipple. Why haven't you explained what is really going on and future tvs support?
Can’t wait to see an honest comparison of the 2 blowers in an emissions complaint on actual pump gas test. Also both with full warranty still intact. The whipple is a great blower and so is the Roush, the funny this is a Gen 3 with a Odin made more power than the Gen 4 did.
The s650 platform and its locked computer has really brought out some questionable character traits in people. Or at least shined a spotlight on them. You can definitely see who's been really feeling the challenges that come along with having to promote a locked platform. Shameful
This has gotta be the cringiest video. Putting down another company indirectly to make yours look better. Nobody knows the parameters on those dyno pulls you did either other than pulley size for each (probably smart you didnt show them). Octane booster used? Cats on the car? Headers? 🤡🤡
My ODIN/LOKI is being installed as we speak. I'm not mad at this video. The LOKI was less expensive than the Gen6, and I feel that it is perfect for the lower boost levels I'll be running on my truck. But if I was buying one for my Mustang, it would be the Gen6 VMP/Whipple. In strict A-B testing, the Gen6 makes more power, and I respect Justin for stating that publicly.
VMP, what is the difference between your Gen 6 Whipple compared to Whipple's? I keep seeing these things pop up everywhere with different lids it seems.
The point of the dual throttle body was to keep in compliance with emissions standards. This twin intakes allowed for additional volume for carbon trap material in the intake tubing. It was never about performance.
Roush has vmp shaking in their boots. Just slamming your own product... Imagine you bought a vmp odin. I would want a refund! OH MY GOODNESS! And dustin whipple is just letting this guy stoke him and tarnish the tvs name. Crazy stuff
Funny, I already bought a blower. An Odin sitting on my 3-2-1 garage built Coyote in a 2014 Mustang GT. Now they're telling me that the blower I spent 8k on is a pile of shit. They're so worried about keeping up with the market on an untuneable car that they're willing to throw away everything they've built with the people out there building real race cars, not laptops with engines.
As I plan to make an appointment with vmp toward the end of Aug. Your making me think if I should go with a new gen 2.9 instead of vmp gen 3 r for my terminator. I had vmp do some mods including gen3 r secret sauce blower on my 13 gt500 and I am very happy with it but I am unsure of which blower .
I've been wondering if I can do a Gen 6 on my 2017 GT. Really I wouldn't care if it was a Gen 5 Whipple as long as it got a little over 700 wheel on 93 knock sensors happy, I would except 680 wheel even. ((I have also been wondering if I need to do 12mm head studs if I'm not planning on ever going past stage 1??? And if you guys can do like a Whipple stage 1 93 pump gas tune? I will need a better clutch too I am assuming..
Waiting for the whipple employees to come back and argue with everyone. Lol. 😂 Stop making these videos. Bad look. Lost all credibility after these videos.
Well I am completely out on any Whipple/VMP products. This approach is pathetic and sad. This is my opinion but come on Justin this is a bad look!! #AMRY
Its an Eaton 3100. VMP has tested it in the Coyote for over 2 years now with no real success. If you search through some old VMP videos you'll find some videos of the testing of it.
To be clear, its a 3100, not 3150. There have been 2 versions, first was a 4 lobe version that was an utter disaster and had to be recalled, then, the next was a 3 lobe version that essentially, nobody is using because the 2650 out performs it in nearly all applications. The 3100 is only good for lower speed, lower boost which isn't overly fitting with the small block type motors (LS, LT, Hemi/Hellcat and Coyote). Also worth noting, a 3100 would require nearly a 1/2" larger diameter SC pulley to get the boost/flow the same which will essentially eliminate the flow of one throttle body.
@WhippleSuperchargers , I got the numbers mixed up, but I wasn't far off, as I haven't talked to Harrop since late 22. As far as I was aware, they'd delivered on that product through special order only, and are still working on it through discussions with a major distributor. All in all, i'd still not buy their product, as even with a 2650, it under delivers pound for pound on efficiency vs others brands for the same size. I don't see the point in spending the same money for a lesser product.
@@WhippleSuperchargerswhy does your supercharger tune keep wiping out my catalytic converters and motor in my FP700 truck? I’m at 12k miles and have been through 2 engines and 2 blowers.

WHY are you making these videos bro???? There's literally no reason to throw shade at a blower YALL praised 10 months ago.

I was thinking the same exact thing. ✌️
😢 I am stuck with a old junk gen3r 😢
Clearly they are moving away from the Odin blower

So the Odin I bought last year is not good? Does this mean I wasted $10k? Now what????
In the same boat. Ridiculous
Crazy, but they all ran hi 9's when the kits came out gen3, gen3r, and now the Whipple. Make it make sense!

The best thing about this comment section is that everyone bitching and talking shit actually will never buy any brand blower. #dramaqueens

Can the Gen 6 whipple be dropped into a Gen 2 2017 Coyote with a single MAF and air box?????
Just stop!! Holy dude!

Crazy how the gen 3 s550 made more power than the Whipple on lower boost with the 2650, also video made by VMP lol
So Vmp is now just whipple? I love my Gen3r glad I got it but damn..
If these 24s get tuning unlocked watch how fast some people change their tune and start shuffling…
