Thanks for liking my truck setup guys!
pretty sik dude happy new year
a sick build, ngl
That was you? Shit was sick dude. Way to bring it all with you! I probably would have been lazy and just bought a Switch or something.
The minecraft map also looked fine :)
dude how do you get Wifi in there?
“Is it snowing in there??”
Damn that’s an insane setup
“It’s dust.”

@@adamlipsky8010 That's clearly the theme of the build so I don't know why Jay hated it...
@@dubious6718 was it the INTENTIONAL theme... or did it just "happen" somehow... because i doubt that "dusty" is a planned theme for anyone.
i had the same reac as Jay on that one.
I had almost the same after renovating our bathroom. The fine white dust from sawing wall tiles was sucked in by every fan (even with closed doors), took a while to get all out.

I love all these rate/reaction videos! I've been going through all of them the last few days.
Love these videos. You get to see the wide range of setups and ones to avoid being embarrassed about when tagged by your "friend" in social media. Haha. I always get at least one idea from these videos for future additions/updates/changes to my gaming area. As Jay said, it's not about having the $3k to get all the top-tier PC parts to build a killer PC. Rather its about how you work with what you have, how to care for it and how to maintain a comfortable, clean area with some personal styling to make it unique and yours.

Happy New Year! ^^
Keep making these! All of these were incredibly helpful during my first build on Christmas Day. If you see good and bad examples and then learn the easy tips and tricks, it's so much easier to clean up the system while you build. It's a pain after.
Just started watching your channel today, in preparation for my first build. Ordered the last of the parts today. Can't wait to share :D
not going to lie seeing so many other setups with Gundam kits on their desks makes me feel happy
Tip for cable management: don't buy a case with glass side panels.
Or alternatively don’t buy a pc
protip: side panel made out of cabels ...
And it will save you the headache of messing around with RGB since there's nothing to show off.
unless its a lian li lancool II mesh where they have full panels to hide cable mangementin the back :-)
Problem is there are less and less quality cases without TG side panels available at the common resellers. I know that several case manufacturers do offer the option of solid side panels, but then you either have to order from them directly or buy a replacement panel, and neither option is really good. So most of the time the available alternatives are old designs built to be cheap with very restricted airflow.
If you really just want a case where you can't see in then you've got the option of spraying the TG panel on the inside. This can look really good and you should be able to strip that paint without damaging the glass if you change your mind later. I'm considering doing this for the next build, but at the same time I really don't care what it looks like as long as it functions well. And that's why I prefer the hated "Ketchup & Mustard" cables. The colors really mean something, and as a tech head I appreciate that a lot more than I appreciate things like monochrome cable harnesses or sleeved cables. And personally I don't care the least about RGB inside the computer. The only reason to have lighting inside is to light it up so you can see what you are doing while digging around in it.
I remember that Antec had a case with a snake light mounted in the top. At first it seemed like a good idea, but then you realized that this only worked when the computer was turned on, and when you work on your computer it's usually turned off so this snake light turned out to be pretty useless. Even so I remember actually using it a few times, but then I built probably about a hundred machines using that model of case (P190? Definitely not P180, I think...), so I had a lot of opportunities to poke around in them. Now if it had just a small battery giving it half an hour of run time after the machine had been turned off it would have been a lot more useful. Even allowing it to be powered from a USB port as they often are powered from +5v standby, or even tapping the +5V standby directly would have made it a lot more useful.
that last PC was Awesome, How did they make it look like a snow globe, that frosted glass is amaz.......
oh god.... oh GOD,
OH GOD WHY??!?!
Imagine the rest of the house. That all comes from somewhere....

It's weird when your cameraman talks more than your "co-host".
I think Nick hasn't spent a lot of time in front of the camera in a while, he probably isn't that comfortable yet
If someone made me work a holiday and called me “coconut monkey” I might not be too talkative either.
@@feiticeiro11 Jay wasn't calling him that as an insult. Coconutmnky is his instagram handle and i am guessing this was likely filmed before the holiday. You probably shouldn't automatically assume the worst of people. Unfortunately though, that seems to be the way the world works these days.

Alright, what is going on with the desk frames in 8:31 and 10:51? They're everywhere!
I had one with a glass top, got it from a friend about 20 years ago. I go to people's houses and say "Oh, you have one, too". I lost count of how many times I've said that. I worked for a furniture retailer and when customers showed me pictures of their teenager's room they wanted to redesign, guess what desk they had? I also worked for a second-hand store, which mainly had furniture. You'd think we had this desk sitting around for years, but no, different one about every two weeks.
And the best part is: The design is never EXACTLY the same! Different desktop, screws, feet, paint, the cover caps for the profiles, that thing in the lower back that keeps the frame from twisting. It's like there's a kitbashing competition out there, where you get the base aluminium frame and go from there.
Or there's a conspiracy. I've heard worse.
Anyway, happy new year!
