i used to triple monitor, but the power cost, and the heat was just too much for me. So I just got one large monitor and it makes less heat and costs less, and is just as useful. I agree tho, I love multi monitor set ups. When I can use them that is :-P
I literally just run a 31" gaming monitor, a 15 year old 4:3 Sharp with a VGA adapter, and a 13" graphics tablet and even just those little monitors make a HUGE difference.
since the top of the case is open, technically it can pull air through there over the board but yeah it would be better to have them turned around. i'm going to guess because they want an AIO they probably spent to much time paying attention to their CPU temp when it wasn't needed since it's an 8400 and noticed the cpu temps dropped with the fans set to exhaust not realizing it's likely hurting the gpu temps.

That first PC has wrong fan orientation at the front intake - the whole case has all exhaust setup right now with no real intake of fresh air, so everything is getting choked. She needs to flip the two front fans if she wants any kind of performance. The total negative pressure in the case will also make it a dust magnet.

I have practically built a new PC while upgrading my parts. Looking forward to entering my old setup and new setup in the next react. So far, new ram, gpu, case, and fans. Really tempted to upgrade my cpu and motherboard. All I would need is a power supply after that and I could have 2 PCs!
You would get better temp if you use the steel pannel instead of the tempered glass :) but the glass looks soooo sick. Nice build. I have the non P variant.

First reflection points are on the side walls and are more important than rear panels. Bass traps are for controlling room modes and resonance, the majority of ‘reverb’ is mid and high frequency, also if you’re going to recommend buying something cheap off Amazon you might as well say to buy diy panels from someone who makes them. Cheap panels tend to not be made from dense enough material, and if you’re buying bass traps that are super cheap, it’s highly unlikely they’ll work as advertised.
I play farming sim, and I had that wheel, pedal and button box for farming sim. I never used it for farming sim, only for American Truck Sim and Euro Truck Sim. Ive since up graded to a g920, th8a and still got the button box from farming sim. Its a really versatile button box. I use it for nearly everything except farming sim now, beam ng, ac, iRacing, its nice to have 20+ buttons that are able to map to nearly anything to.
Am I the only one to find Jayz looks exactly like Geralt from witcher 3 ...Man he's got every feature of Geralt except long hair. And I think jayz would'a been a more suitable choice as the actor in the TV series too
What taught me to clean up my desk (and by extent the whole flat) was getting cats. Prompted my wife and me to cable manage EVERYTHING and not to let anything lay around. I don't wanna know how my flat would look without the cats. I'd guess less dust and hairs but clutter all over the floor.
People have 32 GB of ram now because having empty dimm slots looks disgusting. It's the reason I have 32 GB (8x4). The build would look terrible otherwise.

Its not necessarily sound in the corners that creates reflections. Actually what is the biggest factor when it comes to it is parallel surfaces. The corners are a bi product of having parallel surfaces and reflect a bit but mainly trap the bass frequencies.
So 100% agree on doing the cable management. I did the best I could with my desk (they are zip tied to the legs and support arms hidden, few bends you can see but they are not highly visible). Sadly the cord that is to my cintiq is just driving me nuts. But I cant tie it down for quite often I sit back in my chair with the tablet on my lap then on top of the desk so I need the slack. But since I moved my desk and did actual management my desk has stayed so much cleaner. Every so often it can get a bit messy with art supplies on top but they normally go back where they belong with in a day or two when i take my personal break from commissions.

It's not really a thing about being a messy person for me, I just have a small as hell room with limited space to put my things (I like to have all the things I own in my room). I just really need to go through my drawers and do a cleanup - something I plan to do when I get get a new desk.
The reason I don't do cable management hardly at all, is that I change my system on a regular basis. I have had the "same" system from 20 years ago (through there aren't any pieces left from original system). I doubt it goes more than a week without a change.

I used to be really lazy and while I was changing myself and cleaning my house I noticed it's best when cleaning or changing yourself to try and look at 1 thing and improve it, if I can't because of something in the way, I'll work on that instead.
Devonlethbridge the speakers you need for your setup. Is the Edifier luna eclipse white. I got them myself, they are not studio Monitors but they Sound very very good and they would look fantastic with your setup!

When I really think about it, the most expensive component (or group thereof, rather) in my rig is actually the SSD. I got 17 TB of them, that cost more than my graphics card. I was still almost tempted to upgrade today, due to prime day deal on some larger drives. But I'm only at 60% so I'm holding it off.
For the people who have stuff that just appears on your desk and have always been called lazy… screw the people who always called you lazy. Then check your adhd. There are ways to help with this but it is not lazyness. This is the only time I have ever been feeling screw you to Jay but it takes a lot of mental work for some of us to make a clean setup. Like a lot.
As a sound engineer, I love that Jay actually knows about room acoustics and tones. AND I LOVE THAT HE DOESN'T LIKE THE FOAM PANELS BECAUSE THE ARE TRASH AF!
the reality is; if you cable manage just to have a "cleaner" look, chances are, it's only for short or specific periods (showcasing etc) because PCs are designed to swap peripherals on an (almost, if not) daily basis so unplugging and re-plugging devices becomes a chore. then there's maintenance, replacements, upgrades so many factors that defeat the purpose of having a "cable-free, clean" setup.

I was still almost tempted to upgrade today, due to prime day deal on some larger drives. But I'm only at 60% so I'm holding it off.
For the people who have stuff that just appears on your desk and have always been called lazy… screw the people who always called you lazy. Then check your adhd. There are ways to help with this but it is not lazyness. This is the only time I have ever been feeling screw you to Jay but it takes a lot of mental work for some of us to make a clean setup. Like a lot.

As a sound engineer, I love that Jay actually knows about room acoustics and tones. AND I LOVE THAT HE DOESN'T LIKE THE FOAM PANELS BECAUSE THE ARE TRASH AF!

I was sceptical about cheap CPU cooler towers. I proved myself wrong on that & haven't reinstalled my AIO since. Looks better in my set up too.
i spent days wire mangment my desk and then still make changes every so often to make it better
the reality is; if you cable manage just to have a "cleaner" look, chances are, it's only for short or specific periods (showcasing etc) because PCs are designed to swap peripherals on an (almost, if not) daily basis so unplugging and re-plugging devices becomes a chore. then there's maintenance, replacements, upgrades so many factors that defeat the purpose of having a "cable-free, clean" setup.
It took me two solid days for cable management. Still waiting on USB extensions for my Corsair K95.
