@@Mrx1080 looks like a wall box for MCBs. It's standard here in my country; every floor would have their own MCB box, and if a room consumes a lot of power, that room will have another MCB box just for safety.

1) Buy one and never turn it, they come solved.
2) Disassemble (the corners all pop off) and reassemble.
3) Remove and reapply the stickers.
4) Find a friend that knows how to do it for real.

12:06 Hey Jay! To get those nice bends I would recommend trying to 3D print a guide for the tubes. In a 3D software, design a box and then cut out a half cylinder into it (the box) with the same diameter as your tubing. you can then us "presets" to bend the cylinder 90 degrees. after you print it, you can thenheat up the tubing and press it into the guide to get a perfect angle.

I used a mandrel kit on my bends. That top right run was a complete pain in the butt to do and the few degrees it was off didn't bother me enough to want to re-do it.

The UK doesnt have those 2 prong plugs Jay, at 11:08 thats EU but not UK.
Was going to mention the same, but understand was a little confused myself, since I do not travel to other countries too much. I believe UK used two, or three, flat "prongs". The two power prongs are in line with each other (instead of set up like parallel plates as in US), with the third ground prong centered above and perpendicular (US ground is a round prong). I could be wrong, but most of Europe uses the two round prongs. But, I live in the US and only traveled to Europe a couple of times, so my recollection could be a little off. I also believe the British call their ground plug, an earth plug. (EDIT: Actually looked up his channel, stationed in Austria)

@@helstromh Those are german outlets. The flat plug with the two round prongs is indeeed the european standard, those dont have a PE contact for grounding. We just call them EU Plugs here.
The Outlets seen here are german, the plugs are called SCHUTZKONTAKTSTECKER or SCHUKO in short. German outlets accept both Schuko and EU plugs.
@@erdnusserdnuss8985 You misread my comment, I specified the UK had flat prongs not specifically plugs. I understood the video did not show UK plugs. I would have assumed German plugs, since I was there for a year. After looking at his channel, however, he is actually from Austria. So, I have to assume other countries in Europe may have "similar" plugs as well.

5:15 for those that were wondering, those are studio monitors (Genelec by the looks of it), and depending on the speakers and room, going horizontal on speakers can actually provide better sound quality. I'm more concerned with the presence of some decent studio monitors but no acoustic controls anywhere
I will say that I absolutely love the podcast set up! You did a great job on how everything is layed out. Keep up the good work, these type of videos helps me keep my mind off my demons.

They are not just EU plugs, those are german power strips to be exact. Plugged into them are both EU plugs and the german schuko plugs.
