Need some more bass but don't want an embarrassing "boom box" in your trunk, then the Bijou was made for you! The sleek down-firing profile makes the Bijou a one of a kind handcrafted piece of art, not just a typical Subwoofer Box in your trunk. This is something your friends have NEVER seen before.
Each and every single Bijou features a unique wood grain pattern. Every Bijou is handcrafted right inside of our facility by the designer himself. The Bijou also comes serialized and hand signed on the inside.
The Bijou is constructed out of 18mm 13 ply Russian Baltic Birch Plywood. The wood grain is sanded with a multi-step sanding process before being finished with a carbon gray stain. The sloped back makes for a smaller footprint inside of your trunk, squeezing the most out of your investments. The exterior finish is one full continuous piece of kerfed wood!
    Why Baltic Birch?
Almost all manufactured subwoofer enclosures are made out of MDF wood. MDF is a soft wood made from a lot of harsh chemicals and does not have a very good hardness rating. Baltic Birch is a hard wood that resonates at 3 times the higher frequency than MDF, making it far superior building material for hi-fidelity subwoofer enclosures.

He filled the gaps with glue and sawdust.
Saw dust is used as a gap filler. It's an old wood working trick.

What about the huge gap in the plywood? What did you do internally to seal it?
