Window brace both sides the woofer hole then window brace between the distance from end to edge of woofer. That will give the MOST structural support and will give a better thump. All about rigidity. Can also glue a layer of .25 all around which creates a laminated sheet and gives extra support plus room for designs. Lol
The real question is how does it sound.

I just viewed your video on tik-tok came straight to RUclips hoping to hear it . Never the less You guys did an awesome job .. so listen I have a 2016 Escalade and I need this enclosure with the Escalade badge but minus the added detail design . however I want the Escalade badge to illuminate . Can you build me this enclosure and ship it to me ?? I’m in Mississippi as well. I’m Sure you guys have some spec from a previous Escalade build 2015-2021 it’s all the same

Unbelievable work very nice watching your videos made me build a downfire box for my Durango and it was the best thing I could have done with my subwoofer ive got one 12" nvx d2 in the downfire box and it is unreal how good and clean it sounds thank you for a great video

Super neat! Super clean! Great attention to detail! I'm glad that you showed that down firing is still a great way to go! I requested that somebody do a down-firing sub box for me and was told that he would not do it! Then later on said that he would! I'm not going to mention his name nor his RUclips channel!!!
I did a dual 10 set up with 2 earthquake slaps down firing in my 2020 ridgine! It bangs!! And hits low!!

I like the power connection. I have used the larger versions before on large gauge wire. I will need to look into those smaller versions. Nice install.
