Have had my Odin 2 max since launch and it is the best retro handheld I have ever owned. If you don’t have the $ for the max or pro the base model will do everything you need. Oh and they just announced a 5” screen Odin that looks like a vita. It supposed to be cheaper and has the same chip in it 👍

But yeah just saw that and posted it on my Instagram! It has a 5" mini LED screen. Which is supposedly better than 1080p! Definitely something to look out for in the near future.
Yeah I have a problem when it comes to handhelds 😂. Odin pro, Odin 2 max, onexplayer mini pro 6800u, miyoo mini+, miyoo mini, ambernic rg35xx, switch……….and it keeps going 🙄

HELP! I am so torn right now. I am debating whether to get the Odin 2, or the new Mini that is on pre-order right now. We have finally gotten some real-timd use videos from AYN and it looks like a PSVita 2.0 which I absolutely love. I think i would enjoy the smaller machine, but the battery life may be worse. Overall the machines are going to be very similar, i just cant decide, im stuck in a back and forth loop!!!
To be honest, I would stay with the ODIN 2 PRO, over the Mini, just based on battery life. I do like that it looks like a PS VITA 2.0, but the form factor of the ODIN 2 is very ergonomic! My favorite device!
The Odin 2 has better thermal and better hand grip ergonomic. But the Mini is more pocket-ability. Powerwise, both are the same with the outstanding Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
I bought the Odin 2 Pro. Can't wait!!! I finally decided that the OG would be a better couch console, even though the mini looks amazing haha thanks guys!

Yeah that's a good question. I love my white version of this device! If you don't mind black, I would just get the base model and save some money. Because the Pro (white color version/different color options) are more money for about the same performance. The black model (which you can get in the base/PRO model) has about the same performance but better price. Your basically paying for the different colors of the Device and more internal storage. But you can always add a 1 TB SD card if you want to create more storage.

You somehow undersell it imo! The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 under the Odin 2 is OP for emulating PS2, Game Cube, Sega Saturn, PSP and Swtich games. Some games maybe a lil bit hard to run but that's not the device fault but the emulating software itself. For $300, this thing is a stole considering how powerful the APU is!
Trust me, this is going to be an ongoing series for the channel. I absolutely love this handheld and I still learning how amazing the Odin 2 Pro is... definitley more to come!

@BZB7685 so the Odin 2 Pro and Max have slightly better performance due to faster RAM capacity, also they have more internal storage than the base model. Now the base model is still a great pick, it will be able to play all of your PS2/GameCube no problem and you can add in additional storage through the MicroSD card slot. Basically, in my honest opinion, if you want a colored Odin, get the pro not the MAX, the performance to money is not worth the price of the MAX. But if you like the black model, I would suggest the Base model to save some money 😁 hope this helps!

Have fun lugging around your steambrick, I mean steamdeck. Those things are massive. The Odin is the perfect mix of size, performance and versatility - also apples to oranges because the Odin is an android handheld, not a PC handheld.
Mine is arriving next week, so excited coz this will be my 2nd gaming handheld since psp

What charger do you use for the Odin 2 Pro?
Currently I am using a fast charging USB-C cable, with a 100watt charging block! It will charge my Odin 2 Pro in an hour and a half!

The Odin 2 Pro plays Switch Games perfectly. I just didn't have time to setup Yuzu on my device yet. That's coming in a later video for sure 😏
Oh it plays switch games, I just got done playing Mario wonder at 1080p and smooth framerates.
It does play switch games, not all but I can play Persona 4 and 4 at 1080 30FPS.
