Like a Diamond Painting you can take to the bath with you! LOL! When you first removed the straws, I was immediately reminded of a Lite Brite. That was my number one favorite toy as a kid.
That’s exactly what I thought of as well! Light Bright! What patience you must have! I would have so much anxiety about the batter getting too thick! What an amazing job…I have never seen anyone else do something like that with soap!
Thank you so very much!! It was a crazy idea to attempt finishing it in one go, but perhaps I should try again and just do a bit at a time to be more enjoyable and not as tiring. I appreciate your kind words!
I'm so glad you made a video of this soap. I saw the pictures on Instagram and it was gorgeous. I admire your persistence and you are a rightful winner to the soap challenge of that month. 🥰
Crazy beautiful. Your dedication is inspirational. And the art you produce is museum worthy. No worries about other soapers copying you as they could not come close to your talent. 😊
Thank you! To be honest, sometimes a design takes so much effort and time that I myself don't want to go through with it again ;) I appreciate you stopping by!
I have to call this a masterpiece as everything about this soap design is just mind blowing! Your love and dedication into this tiniest polka dot design really is inspiring! I admire your creativity and talent!
Absolutely incredible. The precision and planning that went into this shows just how dedicated to your craft you are. I hope you had a good time making this I can assure you it was a blast to watch. You have created another avenue for soap art and I cannot wait to see it blossom and inspire others❤️
Oh wow, thank you so much! This is so similar to diamond painting, color by number, or cross stitching, just with soap. I'd love to see what others come up with!
Perfect! And your imagination is beyond anything. Bc a painter can use all colors at once, you placed them one by one…. I think the masters would be proud…
Thank you Barbara! It didn't make sense time wise to use all the colors at once, so I decided to plan it out ahead of time and was following my chart when filling in the colors. Plus, the best part was using only one syringe for the entire process and less dishes to do this way 🤭😉💕
@@CreamyObsession i know, but when you paint a picture your just use many colors at once. Here you had to plan and follow it one at time. That is just that much more difficult…
@@guelle01 I guess it may be a tad harder when you have to plan in advance and can't see the full effect until you're finished. I was most worried about getting the correct shades to come together at the end, as some were very close but mixed at different times. It all turned out though, even if quite a few were misplaced and filled with the wrong colors.
You’re such an amazing artist. I love seeing your creations. But this one really shows just how dedicated you are. Congratulations on your big win. It was well deserved.
Oh, certainly! I've heard some people say that soap making isn't a form of art and doesn't belong in art and craft shows, but just because something is functional as well doesn't mean it can't be a creative outlet!
Thank you!! 😊 I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I've honestly had a lot going on these past several months but am glad to be back. Hopefully I'll be able to continue posting more content regularly now!
You're an absolute mad woman, but it turned out beautifully! I would have definitely given up long before finishing 😂 Not only did you not give up but you created a gorgeous piece of functional artwork. You most certainly should be very proud of yourself! I'm not sure if you'd be up to doing something like this again, but it was very fun and interesting to watch and I love the final result! Phenomenal job!
Hehe! You made me laugh there. I agree, it was a crazy project and one I didn't realize would take quite as much time as it did! I started filling the holes right after putting the kids into bed and only finished at 5 pm the following day. I thought it'd take a few hours at most... For now, I am quite happy having it behind me! Who knows though ;)
Also, setting up the straws in the mold took several hours as well... I was able to insert about 100 of them every 10 minutes and removing them afterward took about 10 minutes for 150 of them. Plus washing and drying them in between...
Absolutely madness! 😂😂😂 But your hardwork and time invested is obvious in the quality of the final result. You have children too? My goodness, doubly impressive 😂 I'm sure you're very happy to be done with it! If you're ever inclined to do something similar in the future though, I'd be super excited to watch your process again! Would it be possible to do it in smaller batches? So that you only have to fill the holes for six colors at a time? Then you can put it in the oven or let it sit and come back to it at a different, more reasonable, less 17 straight hours time? 😂😂😂 That might be something to try if you ever dare to venture into soap diamond painting again! Excellent video, love the result. And I love your other artsy soaps as well. Keep up the great work, happy to have you back!
@@Duchess1223 Yes! I have 5 kiddos ages 7 and under, and am also 7 months pregnant 🤭🙄😉 But that's definitely a good idea! When making this one, I was cutting it close to the deadline for the soap challenge last month and if I didn't finish in one go, I would have been out of time. It didn't even occur to me to break up the process to be more enjoyable and not as tiring. Maybe I'll have to find another painting for inspiration! Any suggestions?
