Thank you, Ella! I had a lot on my heart and mind when I made these, and this was my way of expressing it. I appreciate your kind words and taking the time to read the post!
It's funny how our perceptions of things differ. For you, the couple is deformed. For me, I imagine a couple on the beach in Mexico, the woman wearing a large dress like in Madonna's La Isla Bonita. For me, the sky and the sea are upside down. Would there not be more movement on the sea than in the sky? No matter, I think it's a lovely soap, even if it didn't come out as planned.
Mark, I can definitely see that! However, I was going more for a sunset on a lake rather than a beach, and I grew up seeing quite a few where the lake is perfectly still and smooth while the sky has streaks and clouds in it! Here's one example of what I mean: www.jonathanelcock.com/cdn/shop/products/Mystic-Lakes-Sunset-Jonathan-Elcock_667x.jpg?v=1516641171 It really is all about perceptions and what something means to the viewer! We can all look at the same picture and see something completely different. 💕
Wow this is stunning! I’ve never seen anything like this. I’m curious what temperature you soap at? You must be so quick at it too but I notice it never begins to harden when you’re working with many colours?
I usually work at between 95-100 degrees F, and my lye is typically cooler, probably closer to 70. As for the trace and working time, there are many factors that play into this, including the oils I use (in example, lard, olive oil, sunflower oil all move more slowly), the temperature, of course, certain neon colorants can slow down your batter, a well behaved fragrance oil (even one that decelerates trace!) is a must, knowing the difference between trace and emulsion, and more. I have stretched my batter and it stayed fluid for as many as 24 hours previously. Hope that helps somewhat!
Aww, thanks so much! I have a dozen edited videos by now that were never posted! 🙈 Life got in the way, but I think I'll try my best to upload twice a week until the end of the year at least!
Love the caption! It's easy to be let down by things not going our way, but there's a lot of wisdom in what you stated. The bars are beautiful!

Gorgeous😍😍😍! Do you teach classes for this?
Thank you! I don't. I do share my techniques here but that's all I can manage.

Очень интересное мыло! Пытаюсь понять как формируются силуэты из трафаретов №№ 4,5,6..?)
Спасибо! Трудно понять, как выглядит этот дизайн, пока не увидишь все трафареты, сложенные вместе.
My ASMR lady is back.😂❤ It's been so many ages since i recall seeing something from you. Cute design, love the colors.
