I don’t understand why people are calling this the new ITR…Acura released a video yesterday calling this the Acura Integra Type-S HRC Prototype…although this wouldn’t be the first 4-door Integra Type-R released by Honda (DB8)
Will be exciting to see hp numbers. I like how Acura did the fender flares, integrating it seamlessly into the body, unlike Dodge....

Would have liked to hear it had SH-awd and some crazy hp numbers Joe, but as is im not mad at it, looks like a fun track car. As conservative as acura/honda are they need to look around and see all the other manufacturers are giving us everything in one package.

I'm very, let's say picky, when it comes to yellow on cars. This is probably the best yellow I've seen on a vehicle. It's tipping a little towards the orange/gold on the yellow scale, and it looks FANTASTIC
I just need this exterior kit for my DE5. Also the brakes and suspension. I dont need the interior rear bwcause i have two car seats in mine for my kids. But visually, this is gorgeous.

Because I would buy an M3 for the experience for probably 2-3 years, sell it, and get whatever experience I’d like to have next. If these were my choices, that’s what I’d pick. In my reply, I never said I cared about the brand or the costs, now did I? Understanding the budget, my choice would be for an M3 Comp due to its features, performance, being RWD, and overall aesthetic.
Obviously you have an affinity for the brand and that’s your choice. I also don’t buy 15+ year old cars because that’s also my choice so I don’t care about longevity. People can like different cars playa. These are all material items.
The Type S just needs better sport seats, the Type R cluster, and a wing.

I'm glad to see that this is the first of many special editions and limited editions for Integra Type S's.
The color is an upgrade over Tiger Eye Pearl. Don't get me wrong. Tiger Eye Pearl is cool, but Indy Pearl Yellow on the Integra Type S HRC is next level and fits the car even better.
I'm a muscle car guy, but man, these new Acuras look amazing.

💪🏿😎. Looks good!! We need to see at least 350hp..but remember, as long as it has turbo, it can be easily be tuned to 400-500hp. The rear end lights need an adjustment to look more aggressive. This will be around 65K most likely.

@9:30 sorry, that's not what an AOS does. what it actually does is filters out oil from the crankcase vent as the air goes back into the intake. it keeps oil build-up off of the intake valves.
i feel like thats gonna be 75ish plus 25k dealer markup and absolute mega slap rate. BUT that car is so beautiful NGL.

This will be the Front Wheel Drive record holder around the Nurburgring if they release it for public sale. My guess is that it will cost around $74,000 USD about $100K CAD. And limited to around 200 models to make it a super classic. Id be extremely impressed if it can compete against a 2014 Camaro Z28 on the Nurb which went a respectable 7:37 on the old course.

This is really cool, great to see Honda/Acura using their potential to make another great product, now they should do this with their EVs rather than relying on subpar manufactures (cough cough GM) to build their EVs

@@CarGeek360 they showcased their new ev concept before they unveiled this one- the EV will be on Honda's own platform, made in Ohio starting around 2026. there is also an electric sportscar planned

It’s in Honda type S modified with unsprung weight so everything the type S comes with, but just lighter in short words, even more racy spec. They just made it a lot more lighter like deleting rear seats, eliminating some things that are nonessential.

Reminds me of the red HPD integra type s that came out since it has the same hood vents, possibly making the same power. $125k for the HPD but I think that one had a sequential transmission instead of a 6speed manual from the HRC version, I believe the HRC version looks absolutely mental! Very awesome

I own a Tiger eye type s. This is an amazing car. The HRC would be awesome. I wouldnt buy one because I own a type s, but I def would by an HRC if I didn’t own a type s already.

If anything, the TLX Type S needs HRC parts more than the Integra Type S. Weight reduction specifically.

I’m glad they may make it, however, I prefer the type S because I don’t track my cars and I don’t need it to be that extreme. For me the type S is the perfect Integra. and I have put my money where my mouth is because I just received my type S one month ago.
Since there’s no more Nsx what else does Acura have? They should totally do this. They have a Honda version so why not? It would be easy and I think this looks better.

I have loved Hondas since the late 90s, and have owned several, currently still have a BB6 Prelude. I would not pay $60k for a new ITR. For that price I would rather look at a BMW M2, Nisaan Z, or BMW Supra.

I love the Acura Type S, but if they do this, this car will be too expensive for what it is. Since the Acura Type S is already too expensive for what it is. To be honest, there are stuff on the Acura Type S that should be standard for a car over 50-60K. Like front and rear auto up/down windows.
older 90s and 2000s are worth buying more than new cars imo easy cheap to fix.. this new cars have way too much things that you dont need and when its time to fix $$$$$
