and he always seem to like the crackle and pop sounds better. Even when they are NOT good sounding engines at all. Like in this video. The Subaru sounds worst. you hear accessories more than than boxer bromp its know for. then the hyundai that crackles and pop but doesnt sound like a long lasting engine. The engine is pushed to the limit of its thin alu block. then the Honda. Somehow New Hondas crackle and pop aplenty and are still good af cars but they lost so much character it was known for. Then the GR is the best sounding with plenty of character although IT IS ODD SOUNDING! But it sounds solid! and if you understand ICE scaling technicalities it is the most overbuilt engine of the bunch and it sounds like it. Especially between 4k and 6.5k where it sounds somehow like a Cummins Diesel which always makes me smile. And it is the most analog car of the bunch. Everything about it feels like a rally spec restomod four door hatch. its not about how nice the interior or how fast on a 1/4 its about "smiles per curves"

M340(some bolt ons tune disabled): 40-65/70 was pretty much even but he beat me afterwards. 1.5-2 cars at 120+ lol.
5th gen SS manual (cammed no tune): I lost by a car length at about 100/110 from a 40 roll.
Civic Si: I didn’t even have to be octane learned, buddy was just hyped to roll race haha(me too🤣).
23 330i xdrive: dig he launched faster but after i stopped spinning and hit 2nd gear I caught up and beat him by 2 cars at 80/90 mph. Roll race from 40 to 100-105 i beat him by 3+ cars.
      S4 8.5(stock): I beat by a car length, was a 40 roll.

It makes sense the power to weight ratio alone the Integra is the lightest car of the 4 and has the most HP and torque. You have to have a couple years driving a FWD with 6 speed manual under your belt before you can master a launch, and what you learned starts over again with new tires. It's all in the clutch release - a little bit of riding the clurch on launch can make the difference. Check out the Bisimoto Odyssey with 1,000 HP, it has a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds. Shifting from 1st to 2nd in the Integra Type-S has to be right at redline, gearing is not as forgiving as the rest of the gears.

You don't deserve to have a Corolla GR here. You need big creds for this. Who would be silly enough to let you race against a GR? Do you even realize how rare and expensive the track edition of this car is? Limited edition. All WRX are 15 year old technology, time for Suby to wake up and smell the java. The Corolla driver is not shifting at the proper shift points and is losing momentum and doesn't know how to use boost mode.

There's no way you said the GR corolla sounds like a vacuum cleaner but when the wrx came you said it doesn't sound that bad?? That wrx sounded like a rice rocket with that high pitch exhaust. It sounded like a straight economy car along with no blowoff sound. Although the Elantra N and the Type S sound better. The GR corolla overall sound revving was way leaps over the wrx. Had a deeper tone and had the little sprinkles of the blowoff value when revving. I feel like the critique on the gr corolla just kept getting shitted on because of your comparison to your Focus RS you used to own.
