Quick Catch: NS 4111 leads Amtrak 11 with Northern Sky Charters Private Cars

  • After spending the night at Amtraks Holgate yard in Seattle, I was informed that train 11, the Coast Starlight, would head south with a Norfolk Southern lead locomotive, and two private cars owned by Northern Sky Charters. I set out to catch the train, and caught them at Auburn and Lakewood. Enjoy!

      They don’t have any faults, but one was dropped in Portland for the Empire Builder.
