I’m 70 years old, so I’ve been a fan of The Bee Gees since the ‘60’s pre disco era. Check out To Love Somebody, I’ve Gotta Get A Message To You, I Started A Joke, Massachusetts.
Woman In Love by Barbra Streisand is a Barry Gibb production, writing and backing-vocal masterpiece. He captures her voice so well on the whole Guilty album, it's a real testament to how studio production can create such a wonderful pure sound.
"Too Much Heaven" is a song by the Bee Gees, which was the band's contribution to the "Music for UNICEF" fund. They performed it at the Music for UNICEF Concert on 9 January 1979 raise over $10 million for UNICEF . Peace out.
Now please don't take this the wrong way There are some great groups out there Old and new But None of them Canonize And sing in perfect tune like the bee gees There will never be another group like them
Their "disco" songs came later, because they've been legit since the 60's! The best BeeGees music was being done then. "Words" is my favorite song, even though they do NOT have any bad songs! ❤ They wrote a ton of songs for other artists, as well. Thank you all.
Many of us who were Bee Gees fans back in the 60s and early 70s thought that the disco era was them "selling out". I've chilled some since then and even like some of their disco songs but to me, it's all about the earlier stuff like "Massachusetts", "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart", "Words" and "Lonely Days, Lonely Nights" and several others.
I disagree they sold out. They were smart they did what they had to do.Some of the songs on the Saturday night fever album weren't even disco. If a song came out you could dance to in this era it was automatically a disco song.People had been dancing to songs 100years before disco came out.Disco had its on unique sound and there was only a hand full of songs they did that were considered disco.

This is not an uncommon phenomenon for artists. Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin grew to hate their iconic hit, "Stairway To Heaven", because it was all any reporter or fan ever wanted to talk about or hear them play. Sir Alec Guinness, is an even more perfect parallel to the brothers Gibb. Alec was an esteemed actor in Britain for decades before he played Obi Wan Kenobi in, STAR WARS, and he resented that the new fans of his only cared about him as Obi Wan. I never paid much attention to the Bee Gees until 1997 when they released Still Waters. Then I went back and listened to everything they did and have been a fan ever since. You guys should check out their music from the '60s, it was very different than everything that came later.
These guys were in the rock and roll Hall of Fame and the songwriters Hall of Fame. They wrote songs for Dione warick Diana Ross a full album for Barbara Stiesand, also Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers just to name a few..They had 100 songs that charted,I only know of 1 song they sang that they didn't write themselves. Not only were they genius songwriters and all great singers with harmonies unmatched they were great guys very down to earth
We look back at the disco era, sort of laugh sometimes at what they wore, their music etc, but it's weird to think that the next generation coming will do the exact same thing back at us for what we wear now and the music we like these current days. I guess no one is getting out of it, lol.
Idk why it's taken me all of these years, but maybe Barry got those high notes so well was because his pants were so tight! 😂❤️❤️❤️❤️✌️ Btw, I don't go there much anymore, but I'm gonna dance on over to fb!
Those of us who follwed this from the 60s were not surprised at versatile their happens to be. Having said that all my favorite BeeGee songs are led by Robin.

This song is 9 layers of three-part harmony, creating 27 voices. There's 6 layers of just Barry, and the other 3 layers are all three brothers together. So basically we're hearing mostly Barry throughout the entire song.🎶
Sadly Barry is the last one left, 3 other brothers have passed, All talented all beautiful singers and the younger brother Andy was on his way to be a superstar. Something bout 70s music ,it was just great.

This song still gives me a chill….. Came out my junior year high school🎉😂❤🌎🌍🌏❤️😂🎉
I never paid much attention to the Bee Gees until 1997 when they released Still Waters. Then I went back and listened to everything they did and have been a fan ever since. You guys should check out their music from the '60s, it was very different than everything that came later.
Bee gees = Brothers Gibb 😊
Btw, I don't go there much anymore, but I'm gonna dance on over to fb!
Good lord they’re just awesome! And a TOTAL EXPERIENCE!😎✌🏻
When you hear this you'll understand. Just when you think they can't go higher...they do.
Those of us who follwed this from the 60s were not surprised at versatile their happens to be. Having said that all my favorite BeeGee songs are led by Robin.
Corey, I love how big you were smiling throughout this song. This was my favorite group growing up. My friends ridiculed the falsettos, but, decades later with autotune helping today’s artists, that is pure art and talent we may never hear again.
You guys are ready for a Treat!
Ya'll have a lot more Bee Gees to uncover, so much. They are truly amazing.
🇦🇺 There is a beautiful dedication called Bee Gees Way in the beach town of Redcliffe in Queensland Australia x It's beautiful, statue's and memorabilia of the boys from way back ❤
Barry the lead brother singer has been married for over 50 year's to the same beautiful lady ❤🎉❤
Ridiculously good.
Im vibing with you Corey! Memories my guy!
Robin never took his hands off his hips. Now you see how important Maurice and Robin were to the group.
This song is 9 layers of three-part harmony, creating 27 voices. There's 6 layers of just Barry, and the other 3 layers are all three brothers together. So basically we're hearing mostly Barry throughout the entire song.🎶
❤❤❤ THE MUCH LOVED GIBB BROTHERS ❤️❤️❤️
Sadly Barry is the last one left, 3 other brothers have passed, All talented all beautiful singers and the younger brother Andy was on his way to be a superstar. Something bout 70s music ,it was just great.
Love them even I wasn't born in their era. One of the original boybands when boybands was not still a thing.
Plus they played their own instruments.
The Chilites....."Oh Girl"..
They gave this song away to UNICEF. Great Humanitarians
Soo sad that there will never be another Bee Gees. Ever😢
👍 love how Corey enjoys a song he likes with his beautiful smile & finger dancing 😁 2 great trios...BeeGees harmonies & ThisIsIt crew enjoying it 😍😘
Excellent reaction!!! This song is off the charts great!!!
Yes, Love them. I had a picture of Him on my wall. Before all the chemicals, additives and extra carbs, everybody used to be buttons off sexyback then.
From 1967- 1979 ish was spectacular for music. Like youth, we didn’t appreciate what a special musical time it was and we thought it would last forever ( yes Despite Disco)
You should do How Deep is Your Love
LEGENDS..... besides the incredible voices, these guys wrote over 1000 songs, career expanded four plus decades as well....... incredible
Love this song! It was the first 45 I bought in the 70’s! I still have it! ❤️❤️
These brothers couldn’t miss. In their r&b days all thru their disco era🤘❤️
Another jam is CLOSER THAN CLOSE
Love All of your reactions but Corey, yours is the best!!! Love me some Bee Gees! So many hits! ❤❤❤
The best thing about the Bee Gees is that they sound like one voice.
Omf their harmonies❤❤❤❤❤ Being brothers just takes it to the beyond
