I too got to attend Dr. Jabbar Patel's session at the Bangalore film fest earlier this year. I love his documentary on the Indian theatre scene as well

Thanks for sharing your experiences from NAFA. Since you are discussing Marathi movies, I suggest watching movies of directors Raja Paranjape, Jabbar Patel (you mentioned him), Smita Talwalkar. Actresses Ranjana, Sulochana. In actors Arun Sarnaik episode is a must. Looking forward to episodes on these luminaries.
PS: I didn't realize Pitu is Marathi 🙂

@@filmiladies That Nivedita Saraf's anecdote about the fast track ride through National Park gave goosebumps.
She has a small role in the song "Aadmi musaafir hai aata hai jaata hai"

@maheshparab9744 She was so well spoken and kept us so engaged with all her anecdotes. I mostly know her as a movie actress. I did not know she's worked so much in theater. I was quite amazed to hear about her dedication! - Pitu

@pitu - Sachin and Supriya were already married before Ashi hi Banwa Banawi. They got married immediately after the 1984 film Navri Miley Navryala. Back then we were surprised since Sachin was linked with Sarika.
