If you're into high cut shoes I'd recommend Lakai Telford. The shoes are slim enough and offer ton of control but the ankles protection is super puffy and comfy. Also I put FP insoles in my Telford and they feel nice, right amount of board feel and good protection from impact. I've been skating mine for 6 weeks now, I skate 4 times a week usually. Put superglue on the stitches after 1 week and some shoe goo on my kickflip area and they are perfect, I think I got another 2 weeks out of them easily, maybe more.
Telfords are trash when knee-sliding. I skate transition and man they were blown out after 2 sessions. Seams coming apart, rubber on the toe tearing off. Blazers are handling knee slides much better overall. I like the look of both and the extra padding on the Telford. My older blazers had the thicker padding, not sure why they ditched that.
@@Toy_Reclaimer when I used to go skate bowls with my friends as kids we would duck tape the top of our shoes every session XD I skate mostly street or miniramp nowadays so I am gonna trust your judgement on knee slides. I gotta say I don't mind Blazers if I'm just cruising around but for some reason I just have the worst time when trying to do flip tricks with it so I just stick to other shoes.
@@SchwappSchwopp yeh I get you, all black or black-white Telfords would really be nice. I got a few different colour waves in the past 2 years Black-Grey, Grey-Red, Blue Camo. It's not a shoe I would wear everyday but I don't care much about fashion when going out to skate so I don't mind the flashier colours (I for once used to rock the Nike Koston pink so I guess I just like colorful skate shoes)
@@ab-ue9yx atleast the telford lows come in all white and black white atleast here in germany. I wear mostly black/white or, so I'd feel weird skating in flashy colors 😀

I recently started skating these and the feel and look is amazing. That being said I have had serious flip trick issues with these. It’s most likely all mental but i tested a theory I had about my problem being the shoes by swapping them out with my Shane O’Niels and immediately started landing flip tricks. I’m not sure if the padding is keeping me from flicking properly based on how I do tricks, or if I just have the madness. Either way the shoes fit like a dream and I get tons of compliments wearing them. Great review video!
Thanks for the comment! I had the same issue when I bought them again in a different color way, they felt completely different and I struggled to get a consistent kickflip.
It's honestly a shame mine will never see a board those days are gone for me. Bloody brain injuries. Still I'm still going, and for that I'm very grateful. Had some very close calls in recent years.
just ordered a pair of these in orange. i had a pair of the low top GT blazers and those felt soooo goos hopefully the mids unlock a nice tre flip for me 😂
Tbh i prefer the zoom in the forefoot area that said i can make any of my shoes zoom now some triple zoom double stacked in the forefoot and the insole will make it three lots and I'll have the world's first clarks goretex zoom which makes me smile. Just ordered the black suede for £51.5 a bargain.
@@fiore_adriano I just ordered a pair of blazers because I’m sick of getting whacked in my legs. I didn’t like the cons one star pros at first but that’s how I am skating new shoes just sucks to me. after they got worn down a little and broke in they are really great and have perfect flick they are definitely starting to grow on me.

That’s the trick i feel i lose when i wear them. What if anything did you do to adjust so you landed them in high tops?

If my shoes are at the end of their life I don’t mind mixing laces but most of the time I enjoy the same colour laces for both my shoes

Never skated Cons so I can’t really compare, but I really like blazers.
