@@molixzo709 They usually come with the laces cranked down. I like to loosen them up a lot to slip them on at first. It will get easier as it breaks in though. Let me know how that works for you.
By far my favourite skate shoes I've ever worn. I was wearing blazer for about a year and a half and decided to change to something new. Within 2 weeks I bought another pair of blazers they're so good man
i bought this shoe and they came in today! switched from my vans kyle walker pros which are officially broken. so far i am very happy with this shoe! great review
@@AndrewMihalko perfect i will. you earned my sub keep it up. i skated them all day today and they feel amazing. working on laser flips rn! so close i love the feeling of these
This is the review video i was hoping for! I have been trying so many different skate shoes and looking for the right one. I got back into skating after a decade off the board and finding the right shoe that holds up and looks good has been tough. Great video!
I’ve been looking for a review on these shoes that goes over everything. Thank you for the great review I think I might get these now. Keep up the great work!! I subscribed
I really like the Chukka XT versions of the Blazer, even more durable with the extra rubber on the top cap. Only downside is not as much ankle protection.
I say the sb dunk high is my favourite and it probably is. But for value for money the blazer mid is hard to beat. I have black and white and sail gum paid 52 uk. Pilgrim green prm plus paid 57. Mason silva paid 70 and the maroon and rosewood i also paid 70. Love my Mason silvas. All sb of course and I don't even skate today, I used to be the guy on the snskeboard in the 90s. More risk I'm adrenaline mad. Strapped in you fuck up you pay the price. All suade except the silvas. Super comfortable and I can loose lace them as they are mids. I have very skinny feet so can't normally.
These are the best sneakers I've used to date, they look perfect after breaking, the best skate shoes I've used to date! Very comfortable and the skateboard feels great! 🛹♥️🇧🇷🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
the very first thing i'm gonna do when i get this shoes is use a white marker on the black stitching that goes across the swoosh.... that's just way too distracting for me. i think they shouldve made that white
How padded is the collar area? I have a regular leather blazer mid with a size 8.5, I think the added padding around the collar area and sockliner sounds like I should do a size 9 instead. Not sure!
Hi Daniel, you bring up a really great point. There is quite a bit of padding around the heel and ankle. Plus, the tongue is quite padded as well. If the leather Blazers you have now are thinned out in those areas it may be worth sizing up, especially if they fit you snug. Thanks for reaching out and let me know what you end up deciding on!
Yes-I left the zoom out of the title but these do have the Zoom air unit in the heel which technically make the the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid. Thanks for checking out my video!
How thick is the actual midsole after taking out the insole, I have a cheaper pair of sbs and the midsole is pretty much nothing after taking out the insole, good for boardfeel but after standing in them they definitely hurt my feet
@@AndrewMihalko the full midsole isn’t as thick as the outside and fixing tape for vulcanized shoes. Nike isn’t making 1” thick Blazer midsoles. People would riot. Cut in half, if I remember correctly, the midsole is in a crate pattern around 1/8” thick.
@@AndrewMihalko Thanks for the comparison! I just bought these online and was worried if they were too narrow. I have 2 pairs, regular SBs and Janoskis, and the Janoskis fit way better for me. So if you say they’re wider than the Janoskis, it’ll be a happy purchase. Thanks again.
That depends on how tightly they are laced up. I have noticed that new pairs come with the laces tightened down as is common with most new shoes so you have to loosen them up quite a bit but after you wear them around and break them in they become easier to put on and slip off.
This shoe had somewhat decent boardfeel for me. That's the only thing i liked about these shoes aside from the looks. These shoes lasted for about 3 weeks in my experience, and the laces would rip all the time. So in my opinion, I don't like these shoes in terms of skating.
Let me know what you think about the Nike SB Blazer Mid in the comments below!
Ok, I look forward to another one of your video

Super sick review! Thanks for taking the time to break this down!
Hi Steph! It was my pleasure. Thanks for checking out this video!
Great vid! Super helpful- wish mids were more popular for skate shoes. Definitely will check these out
I'm glad you found it helpful! I like having that extra support around my ankle and these feel great. Let me know what you think of them!

Yeah those were sick. I liked how the toe cap was a bit more subtle than the other XTs.
These best blazers in my opinion
Agreed!
They’ve come a long way since the 2005-2010s mid/high and the pre-GT Blazer Low.
nice vid man

Is this the exact same as Nike sb zoom blazer mids ?

It does have a vulcanized look, but This is actually a cupsole, per Nike website.

It is as thick as you can see from the outside which is just a hair over an inch.

The phat swoosh is a bit weird
I actually went half a size down!
Thanks man!! Sick video dude. I'm going to get these , more for street wear (used to be a skater in hs)
Thanks for checking it out-let me know what you think of them.
I just order 2 pairs I usually wear 9 US and went 9.5 because of the blazer mid 77 I own they are super narrow hope they fit
I haven't worn the Blazer Mid '77 but I can say they feel wider than the Janoskis if you have ever had those before.
I always run SB Blazers true to size and SB Dunks a half size up. How’d this work out for you?
