My favourite board set up in 2024 and what I've been skating for almost a year now. Forgot to mention my griptape is Jessup but if I had a grip tape of choice it would be Alveer. Check out the Skate Shop Website Guide and share it with your local skate shop if you want to help them thrive in 2024. profitableskateshop.gumroad.com/l/skate-shop-website-guide-v1/skateshopday Board: 8.25" Polar Skat...

I got to skate at Primitive Skatepark and it was unreal! I never expected to be here, but thanks to some connections, I'm living the dream. Thank you, Ben, Kelly, Sewa, and Paul for making this happen.

Had be like number 666 lol
This is an awesome vid. I needed this.
I agree with thunders getting stuck In position easier. I constantly have to step on one side hard because of that but as far as cruising I feel I can turn fine on the thunders. I can use either brand but prefer venture over both honestly
I always skated Venture featherlights in the 90s. I think they were called featherlight back then.
😂😂😂 he pops out from a front blunt on a curb/flat bar, he does perfect smith grinds and he doesn’t pop from a back nose ???? 😂😂😂 cmon guys please don’t lie 😅😊
I started with Thunder years ago. Loved them. Switched to Indy’s like 10 years ago and recently tried Thunder. I can’t get use to them. Back to Indy’s I suppose
Where in Van is this spot?
Brewers Park
Enjoyed watching the clips of you skating. Dope sneaker 👟👍👍
All i know if you’re 200 pounds or close too the indy orange bushings are too soft
Great tutorial
Im right there with u Adriano! I was skating 8.25 then sized down to 8.125. Its a very fun board size to skate but since my feet is 11.5 and I’m 6’1 I returned to the 8.25. Feels like I’m back home!
Guys, what do you suggest: Thunder Team Hollow or Royal Ultra Lights ?
Guys, buck stock bushings, use bushings from BONES ✅🏆
the skatepark at Flagstaff i went to about 4 years ago, had a blast
I went up half a size and they were still too small, a real shame as I loved the way they looked
Have the same deck. Liking it so far
It was one of my favorite boards I've skated.
@@fiore_adriano for sure! The graphic totally reminds me of an old zero board I had in the mid 90s with a monarch butterfly image.
Good content🛹👌Check out my MUSKA FLIP 🙂🛹👊
Tired from working all week? Tell us about it lol. I think a majority of people work all week.
Self-doubt means you have the ability to reflect and/or relativize. I know now at age 45 that when in self-doubt, it could also simply mean I have to end my day and go to bed and read a book or go for a walk.
Where is super ditch at or around ? 😢
Where is this church at?
I don’t see the previous video Of showing off your new house on your channel
We seem to live a real similar lifestyle and have a similar mindset - much love brother! I was scrawny all my life but still athletic. Started building muscle in early 30s and it has completely changed my confidence and overall healthiness, getting way hotter women now too!
I live in Tucson. Can you tell me where that super ditch is? Thanks.
I run Indy bushings in my thunder hollow lights, always blow up the thunder ones. It doesn’t mess with anything I love it haha. My go to setup
Although I may try the Indy conical bushings next time just cause
When I do backside flips the board cuts into my ankle/upper top of my foot. I feel like I’m flicking with too much of my foot instead of just my toe. This is super annoying because I’m trying to learn the trick and end up opening my scab back up causing it to bleed. Any advice?
Here is an overlooked tip. WAX the nose edge and bottom where it makes contact with the ledge. Thank me later 😎🦾.
Congratulations on getting married dude. Thanks for sharing & hope you heal up soon 🤙
i dont know about the spitfire 93a wheels but i know the powell dragons are on anther level. they feel absolutely amazing. all the comfort of the soft wheels with all the vibes of hard wheel
They're similar - but the 93a slide better
Getting heavy Vancouver nostalgia with this backdrop. What school are you setting this up at?
Kits High :)
hey man, you got a cool style i like it. enjoying watching you skate. keep up the good work
Thanks dude! I appreciate it.
Hey man idk if youll see this or not but now that theyre discontinued as the pros, what is as close a comfort and feel replacement from Vans currently. the half cab pros were the best fitting shoes ive ever had and I cant find a good replacement since
They still make the Skate Half Cab :)
@@fiore_adriano thats good to hear. It took my searching the half cab specifically on their website to find them as they dont advertise them much these days
I just got these at first they were kinda bulky n big but now their broken in and feel great , i came from the sk8 high regulars without the fat insole so thats probably why
🛹🛹🛹
I like that shape.

I watched this RUclips video while standing on an elliptical machine, so I guess that's BOTH procrastination and taking care of myself? 😅I like the message, but sadly even after clipping my nails, brushing my teeth, putting on my best pants, shirt and sneakers - I still can't tre flip! 😂 No, but seriously...I liked this video. More people need to open up about stuff like self doubt and self critisism. Also, congratz on getting married! Now, that's a beautiful couple! 💯
Thank you! 🙏. Keep working on those tre's. Haha!
Gems! Its very humanizing to hear your message! Many of us are quietly struggling, so its a welcoming video ! Excited for more Adriano !
Thanks Liam!
❤ As a female I find this video absolutely pathetic I would never be with a guy who just projecting as much as this cry baby also just go skate you could have read all this in literally 5 seconds & than actually gave us a fun video this is beyond atrocious ughhh
I agree this was pathetic
Thanks for the vulnerability. This clarity often comes with age. When you’re young you can abuse yourself and get away with it. If you wan to perform mentally and physically as you get older, you need to take care of your mind and body. Thanks for sharing this!
100% thanks for the comment
This video is fucking awesome man. Really needed to hear these things for reinforcement and definitely hits close to home. Keep it up others will appreciate this too! 😁
Thanks dude! I appreciate it.
@@fiore_adriano can’t wait for the next one! 🫱🏼🫲🏽
Self care and eating good may seem cliche, but its for good reason. I started working out again after 3 years and two weeks in I feel MUCH better.
Amazing! Keep it up. Thanks for the comment dude.

I got some royals anyone else have royals?
what insole brand?
FP insoles
Spitfire needs to make those wheels in a 51mm!
Did you find with the 14" WB that you often felt like your weight was landing too far on the nose, like almost going into an un intentional nose manual which can throw off landings? oor just that the board felt very short like sometimes with ollies etc your front foot would over shoot as if there was not enough nose?
Yeah definitely, especially if paired with Indy's. The board can feel a little squirly.
Love the videos. Just got back into skating after 15 years! Working on getting tre’s right now. What kind of jeans are those also? !
I think they're just H&M loose fit jeans. Thanks dude!
thunder has a serious problem with the bushings idk why they crack, i dont have that problem with indy or ace . is it the thunder geometry that breaks the bushings or are the bushings just bad
at least someone who knows how to use a fisheye lens :) congrats!
