Dunks are kinda my favorite rn cause I’m a wide-footer and they are wider than the average skate shoe. I’m looking forward to trying some Maranas one day
I'm surprised by how much Etnies have worked well for me compared to everything else. The Maranas and Joslins have been consistently good. Not having to worry about shoe madness anymore is a relief.
I’ve been skating Etnies since the ‘90s, currently have 3 pairs. They are solid, never had a bad/disappointing pair. The og Mc raps were an all-time favorite, the leather was much more durable than suede. Kinda surprised this is first you’ve tried them
I skate the Joslins and in my opinion they're the greatest skate shoe out there.. Etnies are OG and still killin it.. you had a sick session with new shoes and set up..
Love my Joslins. The Michelin grip is no gimmick. They actually come with a half decent insole as well. Although ultimately I prefer FP Intercepts (Neen’s pro model).
I contacted Ben when he said he was giving a pair and thought why not who doesn’t like freebies, the last time I skated Etnies was like 10-12 years ago, I honestly hate cupsoles because they don’t have the board feel and grip I like but these are not like any other cupsole, you really nailed it when you said they’re predictable. I had no trouble adjusting to them and I am enjoying them a lot. Will probably get another when these die
TBH you have a beautiful nollie bs flip dude. Its one of those tricks I don't have and I don't understand them.Always hyped to see someone do a trick perfect you can't do yourself
I had to return them I normally wear a 9.5 in most shoes but these were really tight. Just like Vans slip ons, I'd say go a half size up at least if you got a wider foot.
i did not know about these, and only now just got hooked on vans. after i buy my first pair u’re telling me i can buy shoes with soles from Michelin themselves?!!? bro, i might have to expand my christmas funds
It's funny how the eS swift 1.5 and the etnies marana look basically the same. I guess it doesn't matter since they're both sole tech brands. Personally I'd go with eS
Trust me when I say that altho they look similar they are not the same on your feet. The Swift 1.5 is narrower & the midsole & insole are thinner which does give you more boardfeel but nowhere near as much comfort or foot protection 👍🏻
@fiore_adriano been seeing it on tik tok lately they have a Wal-Mart line now they look pretty good actually they're all 30$ , I wouldn't expect 80 dollar quality but the kid did they weren't bad
Show everybody how to hardflip I got them down myself I taught others maybe people here on the channel want to see I can 720 hardflip and 360 body varial
What's your favorite shoe?
old skools or 306s
Nike sb ishod wair

“The marana’s man they do it themselves“ 💯

@@fiore_adriano you should for sure
@@fiore_adrianoI’ve been in some major shoe madness over the last year. I keep going back to the Joslin’s.
impactwise .... would you say that it's a very good shoe ( without your FP insole?

For me the marana skated well, but they were kinda uncomfortable especially around my pinky toe. Probably have to get a size higher
Yeah, I can see how the skinnier toe box would do that. Maybe need a half size up.

I saw some kids at the park with the yesterday with a new box of the 30 dollar walmart etnies , he was breaking them in
Nice, I didn’t realize Walmart sold Etnies.

The quality control is worse. there's a higher chance of defects and lower quality materials@@hou5eheadjason

You can 720 hardflip?
Yes with a 360 body varial in it
I like the es accel og
I want to try those! I haven't skated them since 2004.
