Try the SB Blazers! There’s many different versions, most of them using suede. The recent Eric Koston collabs look really nice with their leather. The zoom air insole is a nice addition, and I’m assuming the outsole is about the same, and the sidewall is thicker and reinforced. It looks like sole separation would be less of an issue as well. Also the SB Blazers look a bit lower (with the exception of the premium plus models). I have regular Blazers, but I’ve been thinking about buying the SB models when mine inevitably fail, they’re even cheaper than the regular Blazers and usually on sale. What’s not to love?

Proof that advertising and marketing matter more than the product.
i usually go with the nike sb blazer mids ( not the prms) but those are slippin, i have a about a bakers dozen of em from the past decade and stuff like the air unit in the insole has gotten smaller, they went front a suede tongue to a canvas tongue to the distressed tongue. i gotta check my old blazers but i thought the old insole had a poron forefoot too and the newones on my feet currently do not.
Yeah they don't make sb blazer mids like they used to. They're not nearly as comfortable and the sole feels thinner on the newer ones. Older ones were so comfortable man what a shame
As an Oregonian Ive tried them so many times for so many things wanting to like their stuff, but most felt no different or better from their old products and those that did were only solid for maybe a year and then the quality dropped and getting a decent pair that wasnt poorly put together or using cheaper less comfortable materials became a gamble. Ive had specialty fencing shoes pop with every step and then one day just make this loud bang like a gunshot. Ive had a pair where the rubber around the logo on the soles of the shoes just started peeling. They had it "sent to the lab" for a week only to be brought back to me saying basically "Dunno, sucks man" and when I asked for either a replacement or a refund heres how that went: Nike: "Heres what we can do, we can credit you the amount of the shoes for the online store." Me: "Can I buy the replacement pair on the store?" Nike: "No" Keep in mind I have learned to not trust their quality on much of anything from shoes to clothing, it all seems to fall apart easily or be defective. So why would I want a $220 credit for their online store where I can only buy way overpriced stuff I no longer trust and the one thing I gave them money for I cannot get. I cut my losses and have stuck with Adidas since. Havent had anywhere near the issues with comfort and quality that I had with Nike. Im not remotely surprised this is the quality of their products, they seem to have just been coasting on brand recognition alone for at least the past couple decades it seems. Like, they brought out an ugly neon yellow green for the Olympics that looked absolutely ugly with a lot of athletes uniforms, especially fencing. If the sole purpose was to be visible then that was all it achieved. It was an obnoxious color that they poured money into developing so they could get as many Olympic athletes wearing them as possible and most had no choice. Most comments I got on the color choice was "its distracting", "they're ugly", "Why though?" and the classic "they're an eyesore". They patented the ugly color even. All that money to spend and they dont put out much quality or new ideas, just same old stuff with different configurations and colors but made with countless corners cut to save a buck resulting in junk like this. Nike is from my home town and Id pick Adidas every time over Nike after all the products they sell and pay top dollar to ensure they are the brand section closest to the entrance in every store in Oregon that carries them. They literally do this btw, they have representative go out in person to get the stores to make sure their stuff is front and center. I used to wonder why that was the case until I asked an employee once and they explained that Nike arranges this and its common in Oregon. I asked an employee of Nike and they confirmed that was a thing. Dunno if they are still doing it but I imagine so. Too many Nike products fell apart on me too much to trust them anymore. Swore off them about 5 or 6 years ago and Adidas and Danners is what I use now.

As an occasional sneakerhead, I gave up on Nike up until the Tom Sachs! Never thought I’d buy another pair of Nike’s until this collab. That said, don’t think I’ll buy another pair of Nikes in awhile. I don’t understand why so much cheap productions in their most popular silhouettes and randomly make such a good quality shoe in the GPS while not being so pricey to boot. (No pun lol)
Forget Nike. Take a look at Skechers. Their Arch Fit slip-ons are so, so, so comfy. 🤘 Plus they offer wider shoes that actually let your toes move. Skechers has become our family’s go to brand of casual knock around, walking shoes.
The Nike on the rear is embroidery instead of screened.. but still doesn't warrant the premium name. I have a pair of all black suede Blazers...I believe they were "SE". Surprisingly I wear them more than any other shoes for the past 2 months...they are lows so maybe because I can slide them on and off and being triple black they go with anything. Not the first time I've worn a pair of shoes that I thought I wouldn't like but they will be worn until they fall apart.

Please try the Off-White x Nike Blazer. 3 Color-ways are offered. Arguably the highest quality potential. Huge fan of this channel.
You are a legend. This is really good stuff. I can now confirm my Nikes are in fact, not premium.
the sb blazers are the real “Premium”, they are the best type of blazers in my opinion (pls do a video on them).
RoseAnvil, Nike SB just revived the Stefan Janoski! Would you ever do a video on this shoe? Thank you!
I just bought a pair of Nike Air Ship PE's since they gave me the same vibe of a Blazer and a Jordan 1 without being either.
we stopped trusting nike a while back, but i'm so glad someone can prove it and call them out on their BS.
Id love to see you cut open a pair of the Adidas Busenitz , obviously the leather ones.
There are the original supreme collaboration blazers but like a year ago they released new ones. They got a cool quilt stitch pattern.
Try the Nike By You Blazers. I’ve done the Nike by you Dunks and the leather they use seems to be better and softer. They may do the same with the dunks. I think that would be interesting to check out.
You should make a video on the SB blazers, in my experience they’re much better quality
theres some really good skateboard blazer lows out there
I would love to see You cut Onitsuka tiger mexico mid runner, they seem like simple but good quality old school shoe.
I'd unironically rock the poop emoji swoosh.
your vids are sick! you should cut the orange label nike SB blazers in half or the nike sb pawnshop dunk high!
Would love to see you guys take a look at the Rossi 301/303’s - great Redback/Blundestone alternative still (mostly) made in Australia!
How do both of the past blazers you’ve reviewed stack against the “SE” model?
I can’t recall if you have ever done a boat shoes series so I was wondering if you have any plans to do that. I for one love the leather boat shoes they’re built like moccasins, at least the good ones are . Thanks
Cut apparat some SB Blazer Mid Edge! Those look cool and kinda different
I have a pair of Blazers made with a textile upper and have been pretty good and comfortable for the past 2 years.
They are called the Nike Blazer Patch.
I had some issues with the glue in them making marks but they are pretty comfortable to me.
It would be nice to see your thoughts about them being a completely different type of Blazer.
Hey. Really enjoyed your videos and it really helped me decide what shoes are best to buy. I have a request though. Can you have videos as well on ONITSUKA TIGERS cutting in half? These shoes have been popular but are more expensive than Nikes in general.
Great video as always, consider cutting up a pair of Adidas Samba!
look at the nike zoom blazer ISO orange label, i got a pair and they still hold up good after 2 years
They put that kind of togue, with the exposed inner material and put the premium badge on it, that's about it... and sometimes they double the swoosh
Can you do the SB blazers next. I love skating them and seem to have better materials in my opinion.
Check out the blazers by you they normally upgrade the leather on thise pairs
hey, I think many of the viewers would appreciate a review/cutting up of Paraboot's Michael shoes. they've become very popular in recent years and are an interesting heritage type of shoe, but also come at a considerable price. Would be interesting to find out how much of that is justified on the level of construction, materials, etc. Cheers
One thing I have never asked you, has Nike ever reached out to you about calling out the quality of their leather?
I’ll bet no, ,cause why admit it, when their millions in sales is less that than lik 1 million in vies from Rose. The more viewers he gets though, the more Nike will even acknowledge him as a thereat so so scribe!!
Also people please reach out to MJ!!! Maybe he can help!!!!
@@bayareanewman1566 reach out to MJ to get help with the quality of nike’s leather? I’m not sure you understand how that MJ relationship worked…
You should absolutely get the blazer SB the line sb is by far the best quality line of Nike
Weston deserves to review a shoe that is actually good. I've never seen a single video where the shoe he's reviewing is good, it's time that changed.
I think Ariat is doing pretty good sneakers, maybe he even reviewed them, or thursday im not sure
He has, just not with the big brands. Speaks highly of New Balance's construction, even if the leather is sometimes questionable.
I’m curious about the materials they use in the SB Blazers since they are advertised as the skate version of the regular blazers.
Check out the washed denim blazers they’re probably the same as the ones you’ve sawed in 1/2 with the exception of the denim. I own this pair and after one good wear they break in pretty well. My Comfortable fit rating: (For A Nike Blazer) 7.5 out of 10
Should test the material to see if there is difference in maybe creasing, scratchings, piercing, tearing? If it ain't full grain leather it's not great right? Show us
Anyone who thinks corporations care about you is crazy.
Great review per usual. Please review the MKBHD sneakers.
Nike are claiming Sail and Pale Vanilla AJ1 is full grain leather. You should see if they are lying again.
Cool video. Thank you. I quit buying Nikes and Levi's about 30 years ago. Just too much BS and two little value.
The adidas samba is cool now. That would be fun to compare to the superstar
The Heliot, from Mephisto. Full grain European leather, hand made in France, high quality natural materials, leather lining and in-sole, air-soft cushioning system and shock absorber in the heel.
What a shame! They sure are pretty though. Thanks for looking out for us. You are the man!
Shoe companies hate him. Brands despise his methods. He is Rose Anvil.
Wouldn't you mind to do Onitsuka Tiger either Mexico 66 or Serrano? The quality seems like very decent.
You should cover the blazers in the Slam Dunk anime.
Tips for buying blazer mids (my favourite shoe) stay away from the 77 one awful materials. Only buy sb and full suade at that. That said the Mason silva full grain isn't bad leather reasonable material for Nike a c grade i think, just got mine 70uk. Probably my favourite atm.
After half a year wearing 99% of my time, barefoot shoes, this toe-squeezing sh*** of shoes this industry produce, does not fit me anymore. Always suffered from my feet without knowing why. Never gonna ware these "normal" shoes again.
Thank you for your content, it always nice to watch your videos and hear your direct non-compromising opinion!!
As someone who never pays more than US$55 for shoes, apart from my Docs 25 years ago, I'm yet to see any product relevant to me on here.
