- WrestleMania 19 one of the greatest WrestleMania's of all time. 2003 was a wild time for the WWE, the roster was about as stacked as it could possibly could get. Thats why we loved playing Smackdown Here Comes the Pain so much!, and on this night the very best of WWE's roster was showcased. I love this WrestleMania it is one my favorites of all time. What is crazy about this show is all the stuff that was going on that normal members of the audience would have not known. It was a crazy but special night. Lets go back to 2003 and take a look back at WrestleMania 19. The showcase of the immortals.

I know right each one was different and felt so massive and everyone came out looking good and nearly every year made a star or gave them a moment.

WM25 is kinda underrated. the MITB, Hardyz, WHC and Taker/HBK matches were good.
They were all really good from 17 to 28 i reckon. 29 was the one that really dropped off IMO

At this point in time I don’t think booker should of been the champ. At this point Triple H was a freaking beast and every time he lost they built up the feud for multiple months so they can get the most out of him losing. Booker only became the #1 contender like 3 weeks before. They shouldn’t of had him lose the way they did that was messed up but booker should of lost that match.
@@scottwells5057 At this point people were fucking sick of Hunter. Physically he was also a far cry from his prime in 2000. It would've made all the difference for Bookers career to go over. For Triple H it was just another burial.

I will always remember Booker vs. Triple H, for Jerry Lawler’s hilariously offensive commentary and JR being absolutely FED UP with it 🤣🤣

The only thing that ruined it was HHH and Booker T's match. Booker should've won but besides all of the matches were so good and the arena looked cool AF
You know what, even if Booker should've won, I will say the match itself was still very good, Booker T gave HHH a total ass whooping and HHH actually had to get very technical, and busted out an all time great Indian Deathlock and Booker's spinning Leg Drop off the top rope was magical.
The match itself would've been one of the best, but then HHH won and it sunk the feeling, I love HHH and I don't completely think it's his fault as Vince apparently wanted him to win so it wouldn't upstage his match with Hogan and also Nash was coming back and Booker got a massive pay day for the loss, but Booker T should've won and HHH knew it, reason why he sold Booker T's offense like a million bucks in the match. But the ending completely buried Booker T's Main Event momentum until 2006.
In my opinion, the was not only one of the most underrated matches in WM history, it was Booker T's best match. He really got to show how talented he really is when he faced Triple H that night.

Notorious yea, but by “fake” I mean they always say that they never actually hit each other (which they don’t sometimes) and that they look stupid and they treat it like garbage. If they actually watch this match and understand what they put themselves through maybe they’ll have just some respect for it. At the end that’s all I’m asking as a fan🤷♂️

Rock vs Stone Cold 3. I loved Jericho vs HBK bout, and Brock vs Kurt Angle. What made WrestleManias so special and must see. Let's not even bring up Booker T vs HHH, weird buildup to their match.
Triple h vs Booker t was a great match though.
Steve Austin vs The Rock III at Mania 19 is my all-time favorite match. It showed how much heart Austin had, it called back to every Rock and Austin match, it showed how much Rock had become the bad guy but also showed his heart just as much.
And the fact that it's Austin's last match makes it all the more special. The man gave everything till he couldn't go anymore and the one that finally puts him down is his greatest rival that for last two times he had beaten. I also love the fact that in the documentary of this Mania is showed how when Rock pushes the Reff away he tells Austin he loves him and for a split second there was no heel or babyface, just two superstars that shared so much together and finally just accepted it was the end for them.
It's a storybook perfect ending to their Wrestlemania Trilogy.

Personally,my favorite Austin match was that 3 stages of hell with Triple H,that was something else man,the toughest SOB vs the Game,two bastards destroying each other for more than half an hour,and that ending was great.

Great vid, I was there and this brought a lot of memories up. This was my first and most likely only WrestleMania. I had been a life long wrestling fan turned 18 days before this show was a huge rock fan and this was a great culmination for him and stone cold. I stopped watching wwe soon after but your vids on the shows and games from this era have been great keep it up.
This WrestleMania means so much to me. To me, it isn't just another great mania, it wasn't just one of my favorite manias, this was the show that started it all for me! The very first wrestling show I ever watched. My ma had a DVD copy of this event and little kid me decided to pop it in the DVD player to see what it was and then it all just went from there. This WM is nothing more but a happy nostalgia trip.

17 was the mania for being a show of shows. Full of spectacle style matches, instant classic. 19 was the the end of storylines that were great. 19 and 17 will forever be tied to me

I was at WM19 and all the matches blew my mind! Even went to Monday Night Raw and the crowd reaction was insane when Goldberg showed up. That was a great two nights of Wrestling!

You wanna know how badass and tough Lesnar and Angle are.....just watch the documentary of this mania.....after the match ended, Lesnar refuses medical treatment, it took like 10 men to convince him to go to the hospital, Angle was a mess too after and still he did a 5 star match that night, with all the pain and a body who could have break in half, he risk his life for that match.....how many wrestlers today can claim that? These 2 will always have my respect for this match alone.

I was here live with my family. I felt robbed. Everyone I wanted to win lost except for HBK and Trish. The "Limp biscuits" intro was pretty cool though, It was a lot better live than on tv. That last shooting star was so epic watching it live too. All in all, it was ok....easily forgetable for mw at least. Shawn and Jericho along with Brock and Angle were the 2 memorable matches for me.

Personally, this is my favorite WrestleMania of all time. Other than the Booker T vs Triple H match, I'd consider this WrestleMania perfect. I was a lot more invested in the main event of this Mania between Brock and Angle than I was for 17's rematch between Rock and Austin
