For me late 2002 to 2003 was my favorite time of wrestling. You have Triple H with his awesome heel turn, Shawn Michaels coming back, The Undertaker was a fantastic heel and then a good face, Chris Jericho was rocking, Austin was good as well, Lesnar was wrecking everyone, Kurt Angle was great as well and then the crown jewel, The Hollywood Rock. What a gimmick that was.
I watched Vengeance 03 on the Network and that was my match of the night. I knew it was gonna be good, but I did not expect it to be that good. Absolutely incredible match.
so i was walking home from the gym 30 minutes ago an i was thinking to myself "huh, i wouldn't mind watching a new video of my homey, WrestlinGifs when i get home" an here we are!!!! thanks man. you rock.
WrestlinGifs, your one of my faves man. I’m a 96 from Toronto so your stuff hits the perfect note bro. Armageddon 04 is not a great ppv but shout out the main event which has the only match on PPV to feature Undertaker and Guerrero in the same match. They had some great sequences. Eddie is the GOAT
I was born in the 2000s but going back and watching these shows and PPV's makes me all nostalgic even though I didn't personally experience it when it happened that Vengeance '03 theme still gets me all nostalgic for that era lol
I was born in 96 so I saw the high point of the attitude era from 99-01. And witness the future with the ruthless aggression era. I watched every ruthless aggression ppv til mania 20 & I share those saw views as pav. During the early 2000s my generation was spoiled with awesomeness all around. Wrestling, rap music, sports & pop culture was just awesome as a youngster back then
Hey bud. I’m 37 and an old attitude era kid. Gonna tell you why I love your channel. Every wrestling channel these days is a “smart fan” commentary channel. Talking about behind the scenes stuff, work vs shoot, and other smart fan stuff. You discuss classic wrestling as a mark. We were all Marks back when we loved WWE as kids! Your reviews make me so nostalgic for that very reason. Keep up the good work man.
bro i love your videos..... i feel like people who dont even like wrestling would dig these. you single handily got me pumped and i ordered wwe 13 and 2k14 off your videos... and i havent played a wwe game since SvR 2005.... you like, reignite my love for just stuff in general !!!
When I saw Wrestlingifs' video on my notifications, I knew I had to watch right away. Fantastic video as usual. My only issue is how in the world did you pass over Survivor Series '03? Team Austin vs Team Bischoff, Kane vs Shane in a crazy ambulance match, Undertaker destroying Vince in a Buried Alive match, and Brock and Goldberg's 1st face to face meeting? That had to be a mistake.
04 will forever bring me nostalgia ! The year I started watching wrestling, wwe in specific. I believe I started watching around the time where the great American bash was gonna be the following ppv and Eddie and jbl were feuding. I was in 2nd grade and just remember falling in love with it ! Haha
The ending with Chris and Eddie at the end of Mania 20 is by far my favorite moment in all of wrestling other than Austin passing out to the sharpshooter
Wow 2000 really was peak WWF! I was about 14 and my pals and I would pony up 10$ each and rent the PPVs pretty often. Got to see some really legendary moments!! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
I think that WM2000 not being that notable was because Austin (Attitude era pillar) and The Undertaker (WWF all time pillar) were both out of action. I think that Austin and Taker would have: a) Either replaced Foley and the Big Show at the Fatal Four Way b) Had their own classic match. A face-vs-face between two men who made the WWE the Titan organization it is now. Also, I think the addition of more technically minded guys such as Angle, Jericho and the Radicalz helped the quality of wrestling. I feel that 98-99 WWF was more about wild brawls and storylines. We could compare those years to an entree of french fries with a really expensive melted cheese dip. 2000 WWF was a juicy prime-grade steak, and of course WrestleMania X-Seven was the sweet dessert.
Born in 97 bro everything you say is 100% on point. I used to be a die hard fan and had a figure trading mafia going in elementary school lmao down the street was OVW I watched the class of 04 go to the WWE and conquer. Stopped watching around 2009 but I thank you my friend for bringing back all these nostalgic PPVs I try and get all my homies from back then to check out your channel. Keep kickin ass bro
Do part 2 Real Quick bro .... I really enjoyed this !! A little knowledge doesn't kill, But hey 2000 to 2011/2012 was the best decade for Wrestling!!! MOSTLY THE RUTHLESS AGGRESSION PART GAVE US THE BEST/EXCITING MATCHES YOU CAN EVER FIND!!!!! HANDS DOWN

Bruh when you said you watched the winner take all survivor series 2001 on youtube over 7 parts I flashed back to my childhood doing the same thing. I miss those magic days of youtube binges of old wrestling back before fans hated everything that came out. As always great video!
My Best WWE PPVs of the first half of the 2000s: 2000: Royal Rumble, No Way Out, Backlash, Judgment Day & Armageddon 2001: Royal Rumble, No Way Out, WrestleMania X-7, King of The Ring & Survivor Series 2002: Vengeance, SummerSlam, No Mercy & Survivor Series 2003: WrestleMania XIX, Vengeance & Survivor Series 2004: No Way Out, WrestleMania XX & Backlash
FINALLY, THE PAV HAS COME BACK TO YOUUUUUTUUUUUBE! Bomb ass list man! I've been trying to figure out the best Pay-Per-Views of the 2000's and put them in a list to show my 12 year old cousin and take him through my own childhood! Maybe relive lost moments with my 18 year old cousin and then show all of my friends the greatest WWF/E Pay-Per-Views of the 2000's so they see what I grew up with and think "damn, what a badass childhood."
2001 imo was Stone Cold's best year in terms of PPV matches Plus you forgot that year's KOTR Edit: forgot to mention that KOTR 01 was the beginning of Edge's Solo career
Personally, I have to put Judgment Day 2004 up there as one of my favorites. I can see how it can be somewhat forgettable but it's one of the first Ruthless Aggression pay per views I've had the privilege of watching, and the sight of Eddie and JBL bleeding all over the place is truly a sight to see.
10:18 I have been saying that for the longest time. In terms of fast paced action that Vengeance 2002 triple threat is just awesome. Its a shame it happened at Vengeance and not in some other big PPVs.
Sweet list I remember them all and Damn bro I can't disagree such a great time the ppvs, the games such a great time. Thanks for making these lists I enjoyed watching it 🤘😃 Cheers man 🍻
@WrestlinGifs the craziest fact was vince mcmahon wanted to have tupac california love song for wrestlemania 2000 but couldn’t get the rights to it so jim johnston made their own version that teddy long comes out to
