    This is so cute, thank you. And just for a heads up, if you are a cricut access member the entire cartridge with this image was only $9.09 to purchase. The R2D2 and the 3CPO in this cartridge are also cute. If your a star wars fan the cartridge is a great idea.

    working up the courage to do my first shirt! was looking for how to layer the vinyl and this helped so much! Do you use the same sheet of parchment for the whole project? also in terms of cutting the press time in half, does it matter how many layers there are? you did 5 layers at half the press time per layer, but what if there were only 2? still half time? (im nervous about my project lol.... i want it to be perfect)

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  3 года назад +1

      If there are only 2 layers I usually press for the entire time. You can use the parchment paper over and over again if it is still clean without any residue.

    Your baby Yoda is do adorable. Would you say it's recommended to always wash a blanket before putting on vinyl? I have some plush polyester blankets from Kohl's that I want to add vinyl to, but wondering if I should wash them first.

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  5 лет назад

      Yes, I would recommend you wash them first. I'm so happy you want to try this out! I'd love to see your project over in our Facebook group! :) You can find the link to it in the description above.

      @@JenniferMaker would you recommend using two different brands to layer? I have Siser as well as Cricut brand. Typically with Siser it's only pressed for 10-15 seconds.

    Love your tutorials. Could you use Butcher paper instead of Parchment paper, between layers?

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  4 года назад +1

      Afraid not, Maria! Butcher paper has a thin coating of polyethylene on it that would melt. Parchment paper does not! So parchment it is! 😍

    So pretty! I am new to Cricut and Ilove your videos Jennifer. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I have a problem though in Design space. Sometimes the four buttons around my image disappear. The drag button, the rotate, the padlock and the close button. How do I get them to reappear on my canvas? Thank you so much for your help.

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  4 года назад +1

      How strange is that? I would try closing all open windows, clear your cookies and cache, and try reinstalling Design Space. If that still happens, I would contact Cricut about it. You can reach them here:

      @@JenniferMaker Thank you for your help Jennifer. I did reinstalled Desgn Space and cleared cache and cookies. Even though I still do not see the four icons around my projects, if I click where they are supposed to be, the commands actually work.

    First let me say, you are an excellent teacher! Now my question... do you always use parchment paper when doing an iron on? Thanks

    • @JenniferMaker
      @JenniferMaker  4 года назад

      Not always, but it is great because it can withstand the heat and won't stick to your surface.

    Does it matter what parchment paper is used to put over the vinyl when layering ? Starting my first stack vinyl project .

    • @JenniferMaker

      You can, but you have to turn the image into an SVG file in Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape first. :) This might be a good tutorial. If you would like to make a project suggestion, please do so here: jennifermaker.com/projectrequests/
