I'm 73, American, and retired DoD. This genocide in Gaza cannot be what America is about. We cannot have sunk so low that we're willing to tolerate and enable such cruelty on a daily basis. And they're killing innocent people in large numbers. I cannot condone this. We've become evil ourselves.

I think much of it being that most soldiers decide to join the forces to protect their homeland and their people.
