      Cyrus if you REALLY , REALLY think that US support to Ukraine for helping Ukraine, then you need to correct your thinking process. That support is just to siphon off tax payers money by Industrial Military complex. Dozens of wars wherever US was involved or currently ongoing wars is a method to siphon off tax payer money by IMC.

      Zelensky himself is a victim of circumstance. Given his connections as a top performing comedian in Russia, he went for the presidency with a peaceful,reconciliatory mindset. The right sector though put him quite fast in his place and with either neonazis or US blackops as backers, he chose the lesser evil for himself. His position is not enviable, as he is stuck between a rock and a hard place.

    Ukraine should have accepted the China proposed Minsk agreement at the start of the war where Ukraine ceded Crimea to Russia. Since then Ukraine and Russia have seen a million casualties with no peace and half of Ukraine destroyed. China was right again

    I think that the leadership in the US knows that their positions have become hard to maintain and I expect that most of that 60+ billion will never reach Ukraine and will instead dissapear in to pockets of wealthy investors/politicians/ceo's instead. Which actually helps a lot in terms of further destroying any trustworthiness of its leaders.

      Earlier this year Britain's chief of staff said publicly for NATO and the EU to move into Eastern Europe would worry the Russians but to move into the Ukraine was poking the bear with a stick.
      I know Putin isn't a nice guy but the history of this conflict goes back 10 years and it looks like very much the EU and US have been stirring things up more than necessary.
      For a long time the Ukraine has been bilingual but about five or six years ago they decreed that in future Ukrainian would be the only language to be used. Given that some areas are reportedly 90% Russian speaking this was asking for trouble. They had no problem being bilingual but they didn't want to be forced to speak only only Ukrainian.

On February 26th he told ... he made a pause before saying this, gasped air "31 thousand of Ukrainians.... military.... died in this war" he maid another pause before saying this "Not 300 thousand, not 150 thousand, what there [RF Leader last name] disinforms with his disinforming circle, never the less, each those loss, that are big losses for us". After another scenic pause "Russians (as in Russia citizens, not as ethnicity) , 180 thousand died of them"
      I translated it for you while re-watching his speech, pausing for typing translation. He did not mention number of missing in action and that families of MIAs don't receive monetary compensations.
      If you care, you can look for the requests for new military cemeteries filed since 2022 by Ukrainian local authorities, they specify the number of planned graves in proposals. Most of those cemeteries are full.... "31 thousand".

    Entire Ukr. besides 6 small regions on the west of the country, which were united after wars w Europe, is the historic Russian Empire. Kiev is the 1st capital of Russian Empire. There is no nation as "Ukrainian" & Ukr. is an accidental country after breaking up of the soviet union.

      There was no Russian Empire when Kiev was the capital. This was another state called Ancient Rus'. Russian Empire starts in 1700 with Peter the Great. And Kiev was not even included

    The financial aid of America that you are talking about is not a gift but a future debt of Ukraine. Additional debt will be the reconstruction of half of Ukraine after the war. The other half will inevitably belong to Russia. Poor Ukrainians, they should have accepted the agreement before the war.

    In 2022, once the Ukraine War started, I try to understand what's going on and Wow, once I got the bits and pieces of information about how the War is fought, my first question is "How an Army based on Donation going to fight Russia, an Arms supplier"? Also, I read about WW2, from Barbarossa to The Gate of Berlin. Russians are clumsy in the beginning but don't let that fool you!
