As an American I grew up on Holocaust literature (in truth force fed it through required readings in the public school system). The literature - Exodus, Anne Frank Diaries- created a very sympathetic view of Jews. Now I feel like I was deceived.

As an outsider I can say that no Universities will ever agree to the Students' demands because of following reasons -
1. Universities will have to divest all their funds as pretty much every corporations in US has connections/investments in Israel
2. These Universities also get grants from super rich businessmen who have connections/investments in Israel
3. Money trumps human values in much of western world. All the politicians in both parties are funded by lobbies like AIPAC

Nationalise resources and give Indigenous peoples the right of Sovereignty over them as Guardians.
This can be achieved through a General Strike or Velvet Revolution, much like the Occupy movement, peacefully occupying State Buildings until a People's Mandate can be implemented.
With the appropriate checks and balances, you could have a national digital forum where qualified professionals can debate the issues in a public setting without all the disinformation and bad faith antics, hatespeech etc.
Any vote would need to pass the 70% threshold, with a veto or _rewrite_ vote needing 30%.
