The play that King could possibly make was his last line, because, in Poe's "The Raven", the term "nevermore" was the raven's response to the main protagonist's comments. This parallels Poe's first line, as the battle begins and ends with the poem's opening and closing quotes, respectively. Here, King uses it to say Poe will never have more compared to him.

Alex Rosas That line comes from Edgar Allan Poe’s “Annabelle Lee”, in which he describes an unrequited love, and her doing from what was (at the time) Tuberculosis.
That’s where “perving on your first cousin when she’s 13 years old” comes in.
You should really do the salutes at the end as like with George Carlin vs Richard Pryor some battles have other figures that randomly show. Giving a salute by reading the credits revealing such at the beginning may squander that surprise. Also, why were on the subject, I think it's really awesome that you do salute. ERB is incredible at what they do. It's definitely deserved.

Hey asshole, is one of my favorites honestly anything from his first 3 projects are good.
Since I don't like cutting in line, after Whoa Whoa Whoa, I would suggest Strong As An Oak and Welcome To The Family.
Would also recommend Don't Be Nice
Ugly faces by Watsky has a couple fast sections that are pretty beast.
Kill a Hipster isnt as fast, but it's really funny, the video is great, and the beat is fire imo.
Moral of the story is also good, and the video is cool because it's a single continuous take, no cuts throughout the whole thing.
My favorites overall, in no particular order are: Hey Asshole, Kill a hipster, 4am remix, moral of the story, fuck an emcee name, man of constant sorrow, mrs Robinson, kick monday in the nutsack, cardboard castles, and ten fingers.
Got to see him live in Atlanta for the Cardboard castles tour, was amazing.
Zach Sherwin and Gwatsky are immense when it comes to ERB, like Peter and Lloyd are great but Z and G can rap so damn fast and it’s just so great
I recommend you to do Jack the Ripper vs Hannibal Lector By far the best one!!!

This one is one of ERB's best. George Watsky and Zach Sherwinn each alone are amazing. Putting them together is just magic. But Stephen King wrote misery as well as many books he strung in to his lines. Make you appreciate how well written this is as well.

That "Tongue Twister" is actually poes poetry style put into a lyrical format which is quite interesting. Lot's of callbacks to their works in this rap especially the ending where he quoths the Raven "Nevermore"
One of the best ones. The beat, the flow, the lyrics, it's all great.

I feel Poe won round one, and King just came back so hard on round two he closed it with a big W. Poe's skill and wording in round one was amazing, but his round two he just went more or less for speed over word smithig.

Watsky always makes everyone looks bad (Edgar Allen Poe). You should watch his video "white kid raps fast" that really got the "RUclips Rapper Movement" going, along with Mac Lethal.
I did a book report on Poe's "The Raven". That was 25 years ago. Crows still creep me out.
If you're gonna do the three piece no biscuit for Watsky, I'd highly recommend Woah Woah Woah, Don't Be Nice, and Strong as an Oak. His newer stuff took more of a Childish Gambino Redbone direction (more singing less rapping) so if you're looking for flow you'll want to stick with Xinfinty and back. Love the channel man, keep it up.
Again Edgar is played by Watsky so he’s just fire. Pretty sure he has the world record for fastest rap ever as well.

The shining, Cujo, Tommyknock, Standup, Rage, Misery, Castle rock of course being his company as well. Many bars that were missed

I've been a fan of Watsky for over 5 years now, I met him when I went to his concert in Vancouver, he's an amazing dude and a phenomenal rapper. A lot of others are probably already recommending a bunch of his videos, I just wanted to mention that "Moral of the Story" is one of the more interesting videos visually because it's all one single shot. "Strong as an Oak" is a good one to show how overtly musical a lot of his stuff can be, it's one of those philosophical songs about how to look at life, and it shows off his flow really well.
"Energy" (Live) is my favorite Watsky song but it is hard to go wrong with Watsky
This battle was very close Watsky as Edgar Allen Poe would've won if Zach Sherwin as Stephen King didn't come with those kinda bars & wordplay. You need to check out both Watsky & Sherwin. They can both spit hard. Much respect to Peter & Lloyd for this series. I have been a fan since day one. They put in the work & research to craft those rhymes to be accurate to the characters they portray.
