My dad used to have one drill with a drill bit and one with a Philips head bit. Then I gave him an impact driver and some torx head screws. Rocked his world 😂
Was thinking the same thing. Scouting used to be about learning how to do things with adult supervision. What a wasted opportunity not having the scouts at least participate in the process. I' m not saying turn the kids loose with the power tools but at least marking up the wood for cutting and then the stacking/gluing of blocks and painting.

Good job on this build. Great technique and great job of video!
Talk about turning something so simple into building a rocket lol good job looks great
How tall is the entire device? I am having one built.
great idea for stand!
thanks for sharing
I see you changed the position of the hinge. Good idea!
Little tip for the target use 10x10 cm wood that save a lot of work to cut the wood u only need 16-25 peaces
But that would take all the fun out of it.
thanks for sharing m8.
Great work! How did you paint the bullseye on the target?

Will this work fine for throwing spears?
I honestly have no idea.
Cool !!!
Thank you!
Good job
Thank you.
Scouts used to have a carpentry merit badge, I don't know why they would not just have the kids build them even though they don't get credit.

it seems those look like cub scouts. Not boy Scouts. I think.
or Weblos
Power tools are not permissible for under 18 in the BSA
i was wondering what your measurements were for all this?
I based my design off the information found here: funwithwoodworking.com/tomahawk-targets/
awesome as always...man i wish you're my dad haha
Thanks!
World's no.1 cool daddy!!
Let me Axe you a question lol. Great job now i want to go through an axe too. Heard it's fun
I threw the Tomahawks a few times and it was a lot of fun.
It's not overly hard to start
Just takes practice and repetition
Can I just use a painting canvas?
To throw tomahawks at? I would not advise it.
FunWithWoodworking knives?
I honestly don't know how strong painting canvas is and what you can safely throw at it. I don't feel confident telling you to throw anything at it.
