The scenes of him defending the temple against the soldiers and fighting Jia Sidao are two of the greatest martial arts fight scenes EVER shot. So beautiful and yet not overly flashy. They stand up to anything I've ever seen in movies....

@@cloudwalkingowl9141 Yes!! Many people confuse the two styles!! But they are distinct. I think the confusion comes in. Where they originated, Wu-Dang being a moutian in the Shaolin Mountain Range. Wu-Dang, I believe is the name of the founding monk.
Love his use of the chain whip. But that particular one is much longer than a 9 section. I just recently purchased a "diamond cut" chain whip. Its heavy in weight. Tom Wu must really be good at it,especially the longer version. I've spent a long time learning the movements of this weapon. But with the heavier one it's like starting over again.
