Very sad with the departure of Netflix not to continue with the Marco Polo Series. They argue the high costs, but I think must be other reasons. I have not seen such a high quality series for many years, with an impressive array of top-notch actors, spectacular music and a first-rate book.

This was an excellent series, disappointing that they would not continue it. The characters were so good, I know some of it is a little far-fetched but it is so interesting to see how things were done in other cultures. I really wish they would’ve continued the series

Spitting cobras don’t permanently blind like is suggested here. They cause excruciating pain and blindness for a short period. Until your eyes rinse out the venom which usually doesn’t take that long. Maybe a few hours or so.
years ago people still wish the movie continues I certainly do trust me it's one of the best series movies I enjoyed watching Marco polo should have it's complete because it's very adventurous please bring it back
Marco polo was a wonderful adaptation. It broke my heart when Netflix canceled it. Although I am sure the americans only watched it for blood and gore fight scenes the show was so much more than that.
He actually could see everything and acted to be blind. He trained as blind monk....Logic is he winked or rather shut his eyelids even before the Cobra Venom could enter his eyes.

I started watching marco polo 6 days ago and i am at episode 7 in season 2. This Series is so impressive, ilove the atmosphere, the Colors and Pictures, the story and,ofcourse the fights :D . Yes its true that almost nobody seems to know the series :/
