I do not understand this movie. Were those Vikings at the end zombie Vikings? And what about the father? Was he a zombie Viking too? He dropped dead when the others did. And why did they all drop dead at the end?

Me either..the end was a bit messy.. when the father appeared, the vikings were backing away..so I was like oh the father is the king now..then she sang that..i thought it’s a song she and her father share from a memory..so he recognised it then dropped dead coz he realised it was his family they’re about to kill..but how did he become a zombie?if he were already a zombie before he reached home, why they got attacked..don’t walking dead recognise the scent of their king..if he wasn’t a king, why they all drop dead when he did..
We don't call them zombies btw lol, they're drauger or draugr depending on where in Scandinavia you translate the norse from. I am Norwegian, I am descendant of the Norwegian side of vikingur, descended from all 3 of the main vikingur tribes - norse, rus and germanic - I didn't understand that part either unfortunately but it was an okay film overall. VERY disappointed in the accents though! More English than Norwegian or even just Scandinavian which is annoying when you consider the mostly Scandinavian cast
It's a good movie first you think uts horror but then it wasn't i loved the ending the grandfather give his own life to rescue his family but it was sad in the ending i almost cried
