    What type of board and thickness?

      Hey. This is pretty standard Birch Plywood (smooth finish) and 3/4in thick. I am fairly certain you could do this with 1/2in thickness as well, just make sure the back panel is still 3/4 as that is what handles all the weight of the floating french cleat.
