We no longer recommend Cabot & Alchemy Weaponry Arms products. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. Buy at your own risk, we had numerous problems with guns not being put together properly, lots of QC Issues and ACW even lost one of our pistols at one point... They found the pistol 3 days later. This is the kind of "custom" shop they are running over there.

@@N98858I have three alchemy's including their latest restomod and they're a little better than my nighthawk's, Wilson, and Baer. To each his own but to me that have been fantastic and customer service amongst the best in the industry and on par with Bob Reeves at nighthawk.

Very, Very nice 1911...I'm old school but I think a nice set of wood checkered rosewood grips would really look good on this 1911.
Rosewood is actually close to being endangered due to cabinetry, yet it’s needed for some instruments. I recommend purpleheart; as it’s close to rosewood, much denser, and much more environmentally friendly 👍

@@BERETTA9mmUSA That is cool you guys remind me of me and my dad who was a lot older than you we didn’t have much in common but firearms we did in later years when I became 21 and bought handguns and that was many moons ago Me and my dad went shooting all the time I have a lot of Les Baer because I used to have a race car and when Les lived in Pennsylvania before he work for the Springfield custom shop I believe with Rob Les had a custom gun shop in PA. Les would race his mustangsall the time and then later on my brother work for muscle mustangs and fast ford so we knew Les pretty good and when I lived up north I had a gun shop and I ordered a lot of guns off of him for the shop. Right now I have two Caspian projects over at Karl Sokol from Chestnut Mountain sports I’ve been dealing with him for over 20 years he’s a guru when it comes to 1911s and browning Highpowers. He’s turned up revolver for me also in time give him a look at he builds some killer stuff for a lot of people. He’s turned up so many 1911 for me colt Kimber Springfield and a whole bunch of J frames. Good luck as always love all the stuff you guys put out thank you.

I have to be happy to have my Les Baer 1911’s as I have to put New Flooring in our house this year and a couple other projects that will soak up most of my cash for 2021. :( That’s okay as I do have a Cabot coming from almost a year ago’s order, and one $1500 Kimber that I wanted to try in 2021. I really like the fact that they went for that ultra classic design. It's as nice as any 1911 I've ever seen. I'd love to see this in a two tone configuration.

This is one of my grail 1911's. I think for the price it is hard to justify many other guns such as a Wilson or Nighthawk which are only around 1k less. If it were me, I will spend the extra money to get to the next level of perfection. It's like a Les Bear tight gun with great customer service.
It Really Brings a Special 1911 for that price. It makes my 5 Les Baer 1911’s look kinda plain, but that is Okay. I am still pretty happy. I have to slow down on my Custom 1911’s and get some home projects down as they are not getting done on their own. 🤔😉🥳👍🇺🇸🐉

Have an update on my ACW Prime Compact, it has an tentative ship date of 12/31/21. Cannot wait to get it in my hands and get it to the range and it become my concealed carry.

The most expensive firearm that I own, is my Sig Legion P229 .40 S&W that cost me $1100. So now the Alchemy will become the most expensive. 😉

What do you guys think about front serations? Does anyone really rack the slide from the front? I think they look cool personally ESP on the Les Baer’s

One of the best 1911’s on the market
Very awesome 1911. I agree these are better than Wilson and Baers. Possibly better than Nighthawks. However I feel like you guys should try to get your hands on a Chambers Custom. Their base model is a little more than you put into this but they are hands down better. Chambers builds guns that are guaranteed 1.5 inches at 50 yards. ACWs best is 1 inch at 25 yards. Again not taking away from ACW them Cabot and Guncrafter all make some of the best semi custom 1911s on the market. But it sounds like you guys are under the impression that these may be the best of the best and while they are great. There are better and even more accurate 1911s out there. That being said love your channel and content. But beware if you do buy a Chambers gun you will likely be selling all your other 1911s like me and others to get more. Have owned every brand I mentioned in this post. They are all nice and most people would be happy with any of them but after watching your channel the past several years I have noticed you all have gotten more and more into nicer 1911s. So thought I should share.

Thanks for the comment man. My Dad and I have talked about buying a Chambers Custom 1911 in the past. We even sent Joe Chambers an email asking what his current lead times were etc. about a year ago.
I don’t honestly know if we will ever buy a Chambers custom 1911, but if we are going to do so it wouldn’t be till 2022 at the earliest. Beretta Sr. and I both ordered a Cabot 1911, those pistols should be done in June, 2020. Have a great night.

Absolutely beautiful pistol!! I personally would prefer the grips that came with it over the LOK grips, but that's just due to my tastes. Can't wait to see it in operation.

You guys mention ACW over Nighthawk and Wilson but I have Guncrafter over all 3 for single stack 1911 and saw you don't have any reviews on them.
I've heard good and bad things about Guncrafter. As of right now we have no interest to review one. - YB

I am giving it the good old college try! I own over 20, and picked up two new customs yesterday. So 22 1911 pistols. Almost out of money though, as I retire December 1st 2022. You never mentioned or showed the magazines, nor did you mention the caliber. Not once. Couldn't see the caliber marked on the slide, nor could I get a good look at what was marked on the barrel. I assume it was .45acp? It looked like .45acp. Not a 9mm I hope?
