I retired from Nursing in 2007 and it was a hard decision. I had to put my health first and now I’m going to retire from my current position as a Medical Coder. I can’t wait to see what’s next for you, I know it’s going to be something amazing!😊

I understand how you feel, I have Scoliosis, Early onset Spinal Stenosis, Arthritis everywhere, planters fasciitis in my feet.
Domestic violence Survivor, ( I was married to a police officer) and 2 adult kids with anger issues. I just started RUclips, all I can do is try and try, maybe someday I’ll break through. You are such a beautiful, strong woman for sure ❤️🌻❤️ and you inspire me 🌻🌻🌻

Wow, @Alice From Pittsburgh, I have ALL of your conditions, and a few more thrown in for good measure! Trucking made mine even worse. Some days it's freaky though! Those are the days where it seems like everything is is just fine so I guess it just goes to show us it will be just fine! We just have to never give up! You don't give up, and I won't either. ❤🙏🏿

@@alicefrompittsburgh7867 You're so right! And one other thing, Alice: So many times, I just wanted to just lay down, give up, let everything go and die. But a few angels were sent my way. One was a nurse. Don't get me wrong; I totally respect Nesha's decision and because of listening and watching Nesha, when I met her, I went out my WAY to make SURE she left my home not tired nor stressed. It's one on one care, which I need. It's such a long tearful journey and because of the long story, I'll tell just the ending and the hope of a beautiful beginning. She works on Saturdays as well, but I told her if she works out we'll fix those hours, and allow her to be with her family on the weekends. I want her to be able to have the big holidays off too! And get paid as Holiday pay. Nurses to me should be recognized and compensated more from the Nurse Practitioner to the CNA. If you truly look at how overworked many are, stories of leaving the field are common ones. I was a Professional Driver. They literally took my SOUL, and left me with NOTHING. However, while I delivered freight, and holidays meant NOTHING for a trucker and we meant nothing, I took care of my customers to the point I was told that I couldn't anymore. I felt like the best parts of myself left my body that day. So, I totally get it! And the kind woman who showed me compassion will never be over worked or not shown how much she matter to me. And, her smile?? It's healing. Already I love her, and it's only been three weeks that she's cared for me. You see, Ms. Alice, some people truly care. Sure, they look for compensation but they also look for the good results of their therapeutic work. We need Nurses, but they should be: Taken care of so there would be enough staff! Already,the baby boomer generation is aging; have been now for many years! And who at the end of the day are taking care of these patients? Nurses. Sometimes I just wonder about the world we live in Alice. I really sometimes wonder.

One of my other favorite RUclipsrs allots a 1 hour time limit to respind to comments. She has regular work hours. She treats YT like a full time job. So do what works for you. I enjoy your content and the family.

I'm a homecare nurse, love it but management always is horrible no matter what job it is. I don't know how much longer I'll last. Been a nurse for 20 years this summer. Congratulations to you! Good luck with all your future plans! ♥️
I just wrote about that, @ Dawn Barrett and it's scary. I sincerely hope that everything is fine with you. Management as me being an Over the Road Driver tore me up! Even now, the money they owe me, the insurance company is figuring out a way to wiggle outta paying me this measly 1200.00 extra a year! They were told one of my conditions that almost ended my life is stable enough now. Someone told them that! It makes me wonder about this world we live in!

I was a little disturbed when I saw the title. Glad you aren’t leaving. There are mean, ugly people solely for the purposes of infecting good people with that same negativity. Screw them! You’re a bright spot on youtubes. Many on here, including myself, look forward to your content. Seeing your projects both encourage and inspire me. Always do what’s best for you. I’m glad that still includes giving the fam some content.
My poor dear ! My son was diagnosed with Chiari type 1 at 6 years old by luck. He fainted and his pedi neuro luckily caught it on an MRI. Surgery sucessful at the age of 8. But as med/surg RN I had 2 adult patients with Chiari 1.... surgery more involved at that age. Anyway, thanks for sharing your nursing journey. I am struggling ... you give me hope.

RUclips is not for the weak, I'm nowhere near my goal and have gotten discouraged quite a few times along the way, but I loveeeeee youtube and I am determined to make it work, one way or another 😁
Can't wait to see your travel vlogs, both places are beautiful. I had a destination wedding in Thailand and wanted to move there 😂. I experienced the best 90-minute full body massage for $5, I wanted to go every other day 😁.
I've had (mental) plans to do my laundry room and pantry forever, now I need to put in the work and get it done ☺️.
