Immigration is always a little dicey !! No matter where you are, my daughter traveling solo in 2019 and was being harassed by officials in Delhi airport at 1 am .. she was sleep deprived, could not speak the language .. she was scared! We reached a little later as we traveled from different cities in US..
It is tragic when people speak only one language, and that too is just English. Every human being can learn at least 3 languages in childhood without much effort. It becomes difficult once you cross the age of 5 years. People face a lot of problems when they visit US or UK without knowing English, so same things also happens in India if you try to immigrate through Delhi, Mumbai without knowing Hindi, or thru Kolkata without knowing Bengali. All Bengalis pretend they do not understand Hindi out of spite towards North Indians.

Even Heathrow has the same kind of officials. They say it's up to their discretion and they can override all the rules. In deed, even the UK immigration website also mentions in 'N.B.' that the immigration official's discretion is final.

Not commenting specific to the video, but this is the case with most tourist visas in Europe. You cannot stay beyond 30days. You can see the number of days printed on the Schengen visa. On most visas it's 90 and on some it's 30. You can exit and re-enter again though as long as your visa is valid
Serbian series was so beautiful❤.... Sad that it ended that way. These kinda experiences leave a mark in your memory and gets hard to forget those experiences.
Same thing happened to me upon arrival when I arrived in Cyprus in 2003. The immigration officer did not know about I could stay visa free for 90 days for Brunei passport holders. He kept asking for my Cypriot visa. After he talked to some other officers who knew about the free visa condition, and after more than 30 minutes wait, he came back to his booth and granted me ONLY a week stay, stating that I was LUCKY. (I guess to cover his mistake of not knowing about that). Huh! I did not make a fuss as I was there only for five days. In 2018, I visited Cyprus again. No fuss, whatsoever... Maybe this is the difference between pre-EU and post-EU experience.
Seriously...the immigration officials should update themselves about the proper rules and regulations made by their own government. These small bad experiences leave a negative mark on the trip as a whole. Further when a person is showing you proper, updated and verified documents and proofs why continue to harass him or her just because you think you're right but you're not. Immigration authorities in every country should take note of such things. Anyway Varun ji finally US 2.0 is coming. Thankyou for showing us how amazing Serbia is. 😁😁❤❤
@divyanshu pandey first of all, who are you to judge me? Secondly, I never said that just because Varun ji faced one or two negatives in his trip to Serbia, everything else about the place is bad & all. Also these sort of experiences definitely make an impact whether you like it or not but it fades away from our memories gradually and only the positives remain in the long run. Lastly, don't run around commenting and judging people just because you misunderstood what he or she is saying.
@@techtravels401 Bhai not only minorities, others have also faced this kind of problem with immigration officers including our Varun ji. Kindly watch the first 2 videos of the Serbia series.
Varun .... immigration officers are always characters in most of the countries .. they try to act oversmart. But ultimately if a person is genuine and has valid documents then nobody can stop him from entering the country. I faced similar issue with my child when i visited Uzbekistan in 2019. But the officer over there quickly settled the matter and we were through. To end .... ur confidence is amazing varun ..... 👌👌... finally you won ..... luv u bro ..... 🤗🤗
Varun is wrong. Indian nationals can stay only for a period of 30 days even with US visa. Only diplomats and govt officials can extend till 90 days. It is clearly mentioned on this website under country India. He is lucky to get away with it
@@sadiqahmed1648 No. He is right. mfa.gov.rs/en/consular-affairs/entry-serbia/visa-regime Before selecting any country we can see following in 2nd and 3rd paragraphs: "At its meeting of 30 October 2014, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decision on visa free entry to the Republic of Serbia for holders of foreign passports having a valid ... , or visa of the United States of America, and ..., which was published in the "Official Gazette of RS", No. 119 of 31 October 2014 and which will enter into force on 8 November 2014. By this decision, the above-mentioned categories of foreign nationals may, without prior visa application, enter, transit or stay in the Republic of Serbia up to 90 days during a six-month period, but not exceeding the expiring date of the said visas or residence permits." It means if you have US visa, you can stay for 90 days in Serbia irrespective of your country. Serbian visa is not needed in such case.

about the car-when we usually drive on highways, the distance to empty is higher based on better fuel economy achieved on highways. And usually, when you pickup the car from the agency, the car has been started and even driven around a lot of traffic, thus showing less distance to empty based on that fuel consumption average.
I have been through experience of trying to get visa to travel to India. In San Francisco CKGS company handles this. VERY BAD experience. It starts with very complicated application form. The web site is also very bad- does not work. After going in person, they ask copies of passport pages which are totally blank(?). Copies of birth certificate, marriage certificate. After 3 trips I almost gave up. Finally with strong determination of one month follow up they gave me travel visa!! I thought now things are improved in India, this experience was opposite.
1:30 Varunbhai, who can forget that US trip.... I got Ultimate pleasure whenever you get lift. So tense and unique. Rahulbhai, Rushebh many Asian helped you out. Long live humanity.
Very sad indeed to hear this. The problem is that, Indian Passports especially in eastern Europe, Russia, Ukraine is seen as "potential illegal immigrant". Even before they want to check your case, they look at you as a criminal. Especially whilst travelling to Eastern Europe or Erstwhile Russian countries, one need to be extra careful. Their websites are never updated. Their rules and regulations change and vary from port of entry to port of entry. So need to be very careful. Their website texts are in Russian and English translation would have been done with google translate and sometimes that also leads to confusion. If you are not a EU resident, it is always better to once check with the embassy. The other smart way around it is this. On arrival at the immigration you can always check what's the maximum number of days I can stay. If they ask why are you asking, you can say in the US they tell us the maximum allowed stay. That's the best way to go about! Luckily they let you go and did not make you sign documents etc. claiming responsibility and culpability of overstaying. Schengen regions do that.
After a long day at work seeing your videos brings coolness and lot of calmness in one's mind... You had a wonderful Serbian series... Forget the few undesirable events... Good luck ahead bro..

Dude, i am an nri travelling by car through 7 european countries. Recently in Nis after 3 days in Belgrade. It has nothing to do with you being indian. Anyone crossing any border in serbia is going to be checked out very well. I drove 3000km and will do the same distance to drive back home to the netherlands. Serbia is a non-eu country so dont get too excited if you're being checked out. Hope you liked your trip. I did...except for the wet and cold weather and the lock down which kept me inside my hotel.
Thank you for your video and nice words. I am sorry for your bad expirience. We in Serbians have also problems with officials, actually inefficient birocracy. Sometimes they are unpleasent, but in most cases they just act rough guys. With normal communication and logic explanatiin you will resolve any problem with them even it can be against the law.

What I liked most about your Serbia experience is that at last you are welcoming tourists to visit this beautiful country.Thats a good spirit.
Thanks Varun Bhai,
Hope you in US now and doing good
Really Loved this Serbia series.
Sorry for the experience in the End but like you said it should matter to people in general.
For all, last 3 mins is must watch - Never lose Hope and Patience !!
What is yellow circle after ur channel name ???
Not commenting specific to the video, but this is the case with most tourist visas in Europe. You cannot stay beyond 30days. You can see the number of days printed on the Schengen visa. On most visas it's 90 and on some it's 30. You can exit and re-enter again though as long as your visa is valid
I am very happy with members only features. Keep growing 👍
Keep it up varun bhai we are always with you
Serbian series was so beautiful❤.... Sad that it ended that way. These kinda experiences leave a mark in your memory and gets hard to forget those experiences.
Sad to hear about your experience but you handled the situation like a pro. Well done and 👍🏼 from New Delhi.

Your serbian series has so much nice moments that it suppress the ending experiences.
nah
Agree with you.
Its sad that our Indian passport does not have much value outside. I have also had bad experience in turkey
BHAI INDIA MEIN BHI HO SAKTA HAI KHARAB EXPERIENCE ..WHEN U BELONG TO MINORITIES,,MANY THINGS CAN HAPPEN IN IMMIGRATION JAI KISAN JAY BHARAT
@@techtravels401 Bhai not only minorities, others have also faced this kind of problem with immigration officers including our Varun ji. Kindly watch the first 2 videos of the Serbia series.
What a series...just incredible...
Feel like we were with you for 90 days in serbia and now live with you.
Varun .... immigration officers are always characters in most of the countries .. they try to act oversmart.
He is right.
mfa.gov.rs/en/consular-affairs/entry-serbia/visa-regime
Before selecting any country we can see following in 2nd and 3rd paragraphs:
"At its meeting of 30 October 2014, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decision on visa free entry to the Republic of Serbia for holders of foreign passports having a valid ... , or visa of the United States of America, and ..., which was published in the "Official Gazette of RS", No. 119 of 31 October 2014 and which will enter into force on 8 November 2014.
By this decision, the above-mentioned categories of foreign nationals may, without prior visa application, enter, transit or stay in the Republic of Serbia up to 90 days during a six-month period, but not exceeding the expiring date of the said visas or residence permits."
It means if you have US visa, you can stay for 90 days in Serbia irrespective of your country. Serbian visa is not needed in such case.
This one Smart well spoken gentle man
Be bless
I was following the Serbia series since the beginning. I felt like I was also in Serbia. Now that it has ended I feel like I am also coming back home! Thanks for taking us along the journey.
Very nice message at the end Varun bhai.
All in all, Serbia has been a mixed bag. Truly an adventure indeed.
@Xavier Lite nobody asked for your response either pakolu papito lol
why only just 1.37M subscriber.. the content is of highest quality so it should be trending on youtube.
Sir Im from Pakistan and im your huge fan . Specifically your attitude towards others near you is amazing and caring . I hope someday i will meet you in Pakistan in the beautiful areas of Pakistan. ♥️♥️
Love From Pakistan♥️♥️
Bhai hm logon ko bhi invite kro ....@an Indian citizen !
I also had bad experience with British Airways when they didn't allow me to board an India bound flight from Canada, just because they were supposed to take a halt in London and I didn't have the UK visa. That was a ridiculous excuse.
All's well that ends well! It was an amazing trip except these one off incidents. Now looking forward to your Carribbean Sojourn.
Very well made video.. Crisp.. To the point.. Good presentation.. Well done.. Best wishes
Varun bhai please share your immigration experience with Serbian authorities it's very important for future indian travellers to coming to Serbia...now days indian travellers genuinely wants to explore this region....you take care and share vlogs with love❤️👍🏽
@sareed bindu Lauda!
You shouldn't beg a country to treat Indians well. If Serbians don't like Indians, then Indians can spend their tourism money on some other country.
@@reardelt It's not about being liked or disliked. P.s. Who told u that every Serbian hates India? You can land into this situation even in Dubai. Apart from that, the officer was inefficient so there's nothing about being liked or disliked in the very first place.
@@genshin5288 stay in your own country and develop it. Then you will gain respect
@@reardelt Bro, are you Indian? Because if you aren't, then there's no point continuing this discussion any further as you are hating due to some vendetta but this guy himself said that the officer was polite with him. I don't know why you are bringing hate in this context. The officer wasn't efficient and updated with the guidelines. As for this kind of situation, it can happen to anybody in any place around the world.
Sorry for you .
I wish you good luck .
God bless you brother
Your videos and informations had been very helpful in my first trip to Estonia which was my first abroad trip. Hope to make more trips. Thank you very much for that.. I wait for your travel series always.. And lastly, I really recommend you to visit Estonia someday. It is worth visiting.. Tallinn and Tartu are very beautiful cities..
Well explained. Your travel experience is wonderful. The titles and English you pronounced in between could help me to follow you. Good wishes brother.
Such a knowledgeable video as always. Have safe journey ahead Varun ji 😊
Thanks Varun for the Serbia trip. I don't think other people will have such terrible immigration experience because no one has time to explore a country for more than 30 days. No one gets such long holidays! Serbia is definitely very beautiful. Lots of love❤️
We througly enjoyed your Serbian journey and experience. Wish you safe landing and have a great time ahead. Stay blessed 🙏
Your way of presentation is good and on top of it your hindi mixed with urdu words is amazing..
A strong message lies between 15:10 - 17:20.
12:46 bacchi aur uski mummy hello bol rahi hai. Yeh bura laga ke aapke saath aisa experience hua airport pe. Overall Serbia series bahut accha laga dekhke, now waiting for USA series 2
about the car-when we usually drive on highways, the distance to empty is higher based on better fuel economy achieved on highways.
Serbian series is so beautiful ❤️
Love you Varun & thank you for this information..
I have sent this video to the Government of Serbia and have asked that is this how you treat Indians in Serbia?
@@vitaminprotein6430 nope
I'll suggest you to storm Serbian parliament and demand some answers too. That would be epic
@@albuquerquenm3543 😂😂
Are you the external minister of India or jaishankar is the one ? I am confused
@@albuquerquenm3543😂😂😂😂😂
Your methods for explanation of everything is excellent sir👍
After a long day at work seeing your videos brings coolness and lot of calmness in one's mind... You had a wonderful Serbian series... Forget the few undesirable events... Good luck ahead bro..

Dude,
i am an nri travelling by car through 7 european countries.
