Then I caught the first season of Fly vs Jerk and you Sir gave me an idea fishing for Pike in my local canal and river. It was an adventure that I’m still on today. I ’m still in awe at your willingness to share your knowledge and passion. There is no other fishing discipline that gives you not just the experience of catching but doing so on something you can craft yourself.
Hi Niklaus I met you a couple of years ago at the BFFI and loved your ties (gutted you weren't there this year) and after you gave me an old fly from your treasure box i was well chuffed (and it caught well) so to get a nice new 'shiny luminous' fly would be incredible. I am also planning on going to holland this year and to be able to throw this fly at the monsters over there would be brilliant. Love the channel and the videos keep em up 👌👍 Tight lines 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
Well what can I say, Why do I need this fly, because who doesn't need a tubefly like this, tied by the one and only Niklaus Bauer! The Master does his magic again!!
I absolutely love watching you tie all these amazing looking flies, i have just bought my first fly rod (a VISION 9WT) my open water season here opens on May 5th and i cant wait to get out there. Nothing would make the first day fishing with this fly rod better than to have a Niklaus Bauer tube fly on the end of my line. Thanks for all the great content.
Love watching you tie! Going to go pike fishing in Canada in a few months, first time pike fishing and with a fly rod! Look forward to learning more from your videos!!
I would love to bring this fly with me to Utik Lake, Manitoba. I'm a guide at North Haven Resort and I caught my personal best on the fly last summer at 44", this year I'm aiming for a 50". You're videos inspired my fly tying and I even ordered dragon tails from your website!!!!
Hey! Awesome pattern!!! I would love to give it a try this year and (maybe) finally pass the 1 meter mark... Those brights fl. glowing colors would be great in dark tea-like swamp waters :-) I hope borders will be open before season and everything will come back to normal very soon. Cheers!
Great looking fly...I am thinking that instead of the Magic head you could use Blane Chocklett's Body Tubing to create the same effect at a lesser cost...I have used the tubing on Giant Trevally flies in the same manner as you did the Magic Head to create wider body flies to push more water.
I need this for catching Georgian Bay pike and musky, I had a rough year last year, my flies don't work, lol. Superb video as always, I finally caught up with all the videos you guys make, lots of content and it's all A1 stuff.
Hey Niklaus,it is such a cool fly! Always nice to learn from you! Could you also add the material list for the other colours shown at the beginning?!thank you Rene
This really cool fly, I appreciate you taking the time to share it in the channel. I do have a question. Could you please tell me where you got your holders for the flashaboo and the extra long flash material also? Thank you very much.
What a sick looking fly, I’d love to try this one out on muskie and pike. I always wanted to try a tube fly but have always stuck with hooks and shanks for most of my big streamers. Seems like I should try a tube fly tho, I like the balance and flash of it.
Thank you so much for these videos. I'm just learning to tie and these really help I have a question that I'm sure is stupid, but on flies like this what determines a top and a bottom. If you have different colors on the top and the bottom what keeps them from from turning over when you cast them? I'm new to fly fishing in general and can't figure that out
As normal with you master Niklaus, fantastic pattern I will try it probably when it will be possible to go to fishing. Just a little detail to be picky, you put your fish eyes systematically at the wrong way! The fish pupil is not rounded and you fantastic Fly Dressing eyes shows this typical "egg' shape. In Fishes the pointed part of the pupil is disposed forward (rostrally). Control it on a pike and you will see or you have any reason to put at the wrong way? Hihi! Not impossible because of your perfectionism. All the best.
Here in Canada my old man is a big rubber bait guy. He doesn't think I can catch a 40+" pike on a fly. I'm pretty sure this would help me prove him wrong.
Hej Niklaus, nice tie! Your vids are the reason why I started tying my own streamers. Keep on making these tutorials for us. Tight lines🎣 och hälsningar från tyskland👊
Beautyfull instructionvideo's. I love your double section streamers Q: what brand of superglue do you use? Mine have the tendency to glue the cap stucked to the bottle If I don't whipe them after every use.
Yeah, I love those water pushing Tubeflies. Usually I tie them with 2 or 3 Bucktail stages. That works also great. Maybe I will try it with the magic head but I think it would be much better to test your fly before to kick some rubber ass🤘🤣🤘
sjukt bra video! och jag behöver denna flugan för att jag inte har så mycket flugor och att flugfiske efter gädda är det bästa fisket !! IG alfred_team_pikestrike_lures

A wonderful 'fly' (more a lure, I think). And what a brilliant presentation, too. Quite a step from #16 PMD.

Great well done! Maybe a hint for a leader that allows a quick change of tube flies would be nice.

Why I would need this fly! Well with pike opening soon, it would make a great fly to start the season.
Hey Niklaus,it is such a cool fly!
Always nice to learn from you!

Outstanding! I use your techniques to make pike spinners with streamer bodies!
Great descriptive tutorial as always 🤘😎 tying one up right now ✌️ looking forward to more as I am in full lockdown mode.

Great video! Just one question. How do you do to fitt the hook in the plastic tube? Do you use any rubber/silicone tube connector?
I'd like to try this fly in small lakes for big pike. Tight lines guys!
I would love to get that fly. And if I do I invite you Niklaus for some awesome shallow water pike fishing.
Super💪ich liebe deine Tuben clips..bitte mach mehr davon👍
I’ve been watching your videos for awhile now and love your work! How can I own one or more of your flys ?
I'm new to flyfishing for pike and only have big trout streamers, so this one would really help me out having more success😀👍🏼
I've caught most of my pikes with the articulated fly I tied in one of Bauer's workshops in SpeyClave. Would love to try this one as well.
Thank you so much for these videos. I'm just learning to tie and these really help

Bonjour, seriez-vous me dire si nous pouvons acheter ces modèles pour l'ouverture du brochet ? Merci de votre réponse

What vice model are you using ? Thank you
Very cool tie. Pike are rare here in Zimbabwe but I reckon tiger fish might give these a good go. I'm happy to be a guinea pig and test it out :-P
Lovely fly. :) I have questions what's vise u use??
