Didn’t know that I wanted to watch 50 minutes but realized the great detail and am glad I did, nice video.
Nice fly Mr.Bauer!. I need more fluo material 😂.
Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Tack och bock 🎣
Appreciate the whole tutorial - but especially the little UV-lesson at the end. Seems so simple, but it helps to get through the steps. THX and cheerz!
Can’t wait for the day you gonna publish a book with all these amazing flies 🤘😉 Gotta order some materials now... thanks Niklaus!
I really like this type of fly. It opens a lot of combination of colors. Thanks to you.
Niklaus is a total artisan, incredible tyer
Kinda comforting to know that even a $100 bobbin squeaks. Great video as always y'all! Thanks for sharing.
As alwys a super cool tutorial. So back to the vice to tie som pike flies 💪🙂
Beautyfull! You'r a great fly tyer!
I like a lot, that you gave a recommendation in line/rodsize in this video. It has been pretty hard for me as beginner, to pick the right rod for patterns and target species.
This fly looks really great with the artificial material. I think large Zanders (Gös) will take this fly during night fishing also. Not only beginners will prefer a fly like this. Simple is always the best and will catch fish. Thank you Niklaus for this pattern. tight lines
Great tutorial! I will try this fly.
Great demo and fly 👍
Niklaus always interesting and informative, the artificial saddle is interesting, Thank you!
Great video Nicklaus fully explained with good tips on technique. The list of materials is also very helpful.

Hands down probably one of the best fly tying tutorials I've ever seen. Awesome job!
Thank you Niklaus! Lovely Fly. I’m looking forward to trying one on my home waters.
Would love to fish this one for large mouth bass here in North Carolina. Thanks for your time. Looking forward for the next video.
Excellent fly tying video I’m not a beginner but I still learnt little tricks of the trade. 👍
Beautiful Fly and Well Instructed Video,
Great fly. Perfekt for me as beginner and for my 9wt.
👍👌
One of the best instructional videos for beginning tiers I’ve seen on RUclips. Thank you for taking the time to be clear on what you are doing in each step of fly construction. Hope to see more like this in the future.
Big thanks, Niklaus
Väldigt bra guide och fluga! :)
Wow, that's a Premium Totorial! Good Work!
Love your tutorial videos. You tie the best esox flies.
Spectacular fly ,thanks
Nice beginner fly tutorial!
Just got myself a 9WT Pike Vision rod to try fly fishing for pike and now I need to make some flies. Dubbing, tinsel, flash, craft fur, buck tail were all so confusing and hard to figure out where to use them. I've always fished pike on spinners using either natural lures or highly flashy ones, depending on clearness of the water. I intend to keep it the same for flies. Your video helped a lot deciding what to buy to start making my first flies (one natural and one flashy). Thank you.
Fantastic fly's you make
Nice Fly Niklaus 😊
Superb video, really enjoyed it. returned to freshwater fly fishing a few years back after many years in the salt. This year I've been interested more in targeting pike as they have been much more cooperative than trout in our recent HOT summers. I especially loved the topwater video, camera work was amazing😁and I'm tempted to dig out my vice etc as while I struggle now with the dexterity for small flies, I think 2/0 to 4/0 should be easier??. I look forward to more vids😁
Excellent tutorial for beginners like myself. Very informative on every step of the process as always nicklaus. I think all your videos are awesome iv learned so much from them. Resin I'll admit is a bit of a rough area for me but the end of this video has helped me a lot. Thanks again Nik and keep those videos coming.
Great video, thanks.
Thanks so much for the awesome video!
