Appreciate the whole tutorial - but especially the little UV-lesson at the end. Seems so simple, but it helps to get through the steps. THX and cheerz!

I like a lot, that you gave a recommendation in line/rodsize in this video. It has been pretty hard for me as beginner, to pick the right rod for patterns and target species.

This fly looks really great with the artificial material. I think large Zanders (Gös) will take this fly during night fishing also. Not only beginners will prefer a fly like this. Simple is always the best and will catch fish. Thank you Niklaus for this pattern. tight lines

Just got myself a 9WT Pike Vision rod to try fly fishing for pike and now I need to make some flies. Dubbing, tinsel, flash, craft fur, buck tail were all so confusing and hard to figure out where to use them. I've always fished pike on spinners using either natural lures or highly flashy ones, depending on clearness of the water. I intend to keep it the same for flies. Your video helped a lot deciding what to buy to start making my first flies (one natural and one flashy). Thank you.

Superb video, really enjoyed it. returned to freshwater fly fishing a few years back after many years in the salt. This year I've been interested more in targeting pike as they have been much more cooperative than trout in our recent HOT summers. I especially loved the topwater video, camera work was amazing😁and I'm tempted to dig out my vice etc as while I struggle now with the dexterity for small flies, I think 2/0 to 4/0 should be easier??. I look forward to more vids😁

Resin I'll admit is a bit of a rough area for me but the end of this video has helped me a lot. Thanks again Nik and keep those videos coming.
