I really appreciate how deliberate and efficient your tying is. No wasted turns, careful selection and placement of material; all of which show in your beautiful fly. A breath of fresh air... Thank you.
@@andersha I use 9wt if it’s a very windy day. But most of the times I use an 8wt. In 9wt I have the Vision big daddy Ti , and 8wt I use the TFO BVK . Both great rods. I always use slow intermediate line. I use Guideline Coastal , great line. Only time I use the fast intermediate is in fast currents on the outgoing tides.
Nice tie!! Goog looking fly! Thank you! P.S. I really like the use of the hair straightner. I have used an iron (like you use to iron a shirt) but never thought about my daughters hair straightener!! 😂😂 looks like she will be buying another one!!😂😂😂😂😂😂 I am kidding, she would kill me!!😂😂😂😂😂

Work of art 😮👍👏
Perfection, thank you 😎
What can I substitute for the fox? Maybe craft fur or something like that.
When I started doing them I used to use craftfur, but really like using the fox now on them for more movement. Nayat is also a great substitute.
@@castbyjohnflytying thankyou ill give that a try.
@@castbyjohnflytying Great fly! What lineweight rod and fav. line do you use after bass?
