This will be my first year to ever fly fish, your videos inspire me to learn to tie my on flies cant wait to see the next one. And maybe actually win one someday.

Great video as always. But I am wandering... could you use á "regular" popper head? And a side advantage could be that you use it to help keep the shape of the head.
Sick fly. It’s a lot like the Optimus swine pattern for muskie. In that pattern the popper is further back and throws off the balance more and with heavy sinking lines it walks the dog just like a jerk bait which is money! I’d love to try this new pattern out, maybe I’ll win the one tied in the video, I hope so because we don’t have that predator dubbing here in the USA, I hope lazer dub will work.

A lovely copper fly one of the best colour for Irish waters it's blending in with the peat brown water colour. Good stuff!!!
