I consider myself somewhat decent at Excel, and when I say that I mean compared to any of the people I work with I'm like this Excel wiz, but compared to someone who actually knows Excel I might be a beginner. So basically I know simple formulas like x look up etc. Anyway, I never thought I would get into macros because most videos I watched on the topic we're quite complicated. This video however really changed that, I think I will definitely use macros now that it was explained so well and so simply. I think without a doubt you are one of the best teachers I've ever come across, and what I mean by that is you get straight to the points and you are never explaining things unnecessarily, and what you are choosing to explain more in depth is exactly what is needed for the viewer to understand. Thank you thank you
I want to add one more thing. Almost all of my Excel knowledge, which I consider extremely useful, is straight from you. For what I do and for business in general it is Paramount for success. Thank you
Wonderful video! Many thanks. What is your thought on the wisdom of using macros these days, especially on shared worksheets? It is my understanding that this is not the best idea due to security risks.
A fourth method. Use AutoHotkey (Windows) to create custom keyboard shortcuts, remap keys (when the keys in an existing shortcut are difficult to use), text expansion, context sensitive hotkeys and more.
thanks for the tips. It was really helpful. I am having an issue with my excel. Every time I press the "/", it will show the ribbon shortcuts. In your video, you press the "Alt" key. Is there any way to solve my problem?
Thank you so much for your kind gift! I'm glad you found the video to be helpful. I'm sorry I didn't reply with a "thank you" sooner. I really do appreciate your gift.
I am a teacher in a government school and I have to upload student data online, so for this the government has provided an online proforma which is in CSV format and the formatting of the first two rows has already been done but When I enter this data, the formatting does not come down, due to which an error occurs. Can you tell me some way to avoid this error. Error is: ORA-01861: literal does not match format string
I like to watch your content video but in my side it was not clear caption your content can help me to learn about how to use computer because I'm in zero knowledge honestly

In Word, shortcut keys can be changed and new ones can be created. The same should be possible in Excel.
