As an trainee Engineer, I have come to realise that I sit in front of Excel and Word more than in the line or in the field. Your channel has been really helpful to me. Thank you!
This guy has saved me on so many occasions 🙏 He's that savvy dude you want to put your desk next to in the office and the guy you want to go bowling with every Friday night. Just the cleanest, simplest, and most accessible vids out there. The milestone is not surprising. But congratulations, mate 👍🏆
Excellent video! I kept saying..."it needs to be a table!" And boom you made it a table. 😆 I like to keep the tables I make in alphabetical order. Looking forward to the dependent drop down list video! Thanks for all your hard work. And thank you for going at a pace that's so easy to follow. Congratulations on 1 million subscribers! 👏🏻
Great videos ,few weeks ago ,I wanted to start learning excel, I downloaded a course but didn't understand jack ,found your videos last week and suddenly I feel like a pro 😀
Just wondering if you got around to doing a tutorial on multiple dependent Drop Down Lists that you mentioned at the end of this tutorial? That sounds very inteesting and useful
Great tutorial! Very helpful. I'm wondering, is there a way to add a secondary dropdown list on a second column depending on what you choose on the drop down list on the first column? Like say on the first column you choose "comedy" from a drop down list, can you have the next column where you have another drop down list to choose what kind of comedy, like, say, "romantic," "slapstick," "musical," "action," etc.? But then if you choose "action" on the first list, the choices on the next column would be "adventure," "fantasy," or "sci fi?" Thanks in advance.
That's really amazing. Congratulation for your impressive success. There is no other chanel where we can find and follow the professional quality of your teaching. Go on! I am looking forward to following every of your episodes. Thanks a lot.
Oh my goodness, when little buddy at the end said "For passing one thousand hundred subscribers" I was just like "Yeah buddy, totally! That is 100% what that says!" Then I realized it was one million 😅I was just thinking how smart he was🤣
Thankyou for this video. I do have a question though. I actually am using excel to manage my finances and I wanted to learn hot to do the drop down list in order to just select the amount I have earned that monthsince its pretty consistent throughout the year. However...my earnings could be different from time to time because of quarterly incentives. How would I type that custom amount without being restricted due to the dropdown list?
Thank you for the video, I have added entries to my table but they ain't reflecting in my drop down list automatically, what could be the reason for this cause i followed all instructions, I am also looking forward to the dependent drop down lists
Very helpful!!! Could you tell me if there is a way the dropdown list could show two columns but only insert one? Or, to only insert x number of characters from the dropdown list. Thanks, Bill
Hi, thank you for your video. Currently I'm facing an issue. After copying n paste the drop list to another work sheet, the copied drop list details are empty. R you able to advise me on this?
I am using a dynamic dropdown list for the categories as I have far too many things I am tracking. In Data Validation I tried to input 40 different categories but it gave me an error that I exceeded the 255 character limit. So I created a dynamic dropdown list on a second sheet, but it does not work the same way as you demonstrated with the use of the Data Validation lists. Anything you can point me to as I really am struggling.
Will you please help with this? How can I add a dropdown list within a dropdown list that has the next consecutive number in Excel? I'm trying to make an inventory number list like this: The first dropdown list will have the category of the item. When the category is selected, another dropdown will open, showing the next number available for that particular category.
One of my table lists worked, but I received an error message for the second one "there's a problem with this formula" as I was assigning the formula =Status (even though I followed the same process and tried multiple times). Any suggestions for what might have gone wrong?
Does anyone know how to make the dropdown adjust to what you ar typing? E.g. You start typing 'rom' so now only romantic, romcom, etc ppear in the dropdown?

for passing 1 thousand hundred subscribers
Why not select the header for a given column and thereby apply these codes to the entire range all at once?
I think it is because it also affects the title (if you have one) of the column.?
Thumbs-up

When I add a name to the bottom of the table I created it isn't automatically showing up in the drop down data validation list?
Awesome
"...One thousand hundred subscribers" just for you. 😛
When I 'insert the table', it's not possible to name part of that table to a range! Why is that possible for you and not for me?
‘1,000 hundreds subscribers’ 😂😂😂 congratulations
The movie"Elf" as a Horror genre. 🤔😂😂😂😂😂
First
not dynamic
Thank you very much
Thank you
