Wow! My favorite classic arcade of all time. Back in the day I played this game an entire afternoon on one quarter. At one point I had so many free lives across the bottom of the screen they disappeared. After realizing the time and how my butt was going to be chewed out when I got home I had to sit there for several minutes letting the character die so I could put my name in for the high score. Would love to see the board put back into an original cabinet.
I’m reminded of the movie Airplane! when he says “Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?”
We know you guys are good techs. Videos from the past 5 years prove that.
Love Gladiator. I can remember as a teenager walking to a gas station just a mile from my house that had Gladiator and Rolling Thunder, I put tons of quarters in them. I had one in my basement arcade in a Taito cabinet. The "shield thing" is by shaking the controller up and down rapidly it will generate the shield.
Joe’s word is as good as gold!
We had Gladiator in our Jr High student rec lounge. Loved it.
Sounds like Java the Hut in Starwars...
What a cool game. Also enjoy when both of you guys work on it together. I can see why Matt likes it. Thanks for filming. See you on the next video.
It's a cool game. I'm actually working on putting one together in a converted Williams cabinet and plan on taking it Houston Arcade Expo this October.
Aw, they murdered a Bosconian, I loved that game.
I dumped alot of quarters in that game when i was in high school
Napoli pizza in quincy,ma .
Great game
Never seen a ‘finger board’. I like it though for jamma conversions. Thanks for sharing!
YO! Okay I did some quick math. It took Joey about 30 seconds to get up to 22,000 points. Divide the 4,666,000 high score by 22,000 and multiply that by .5 minutes and it took whoever tf that was about an hour and 45 minutes to get up to that score (not figuring loading screens and all).
Hey Ron!!.....and Joe!!
Hey Jason!
I have a broken board of this i need to get fixed used to love this back in the day, i will try removing the and cleaning them good tip. on my one the cpu chip is getting warm i did replace it but still the same, i will do some cleaning.
I think sometimes if the program is resetting over and over again it makes the cpu heat up even if the cpu isn't the problem.
@@LyonsArcade I will get to removing and cleaning the all the chips see if that helps.
AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So that's where Skyrim got the knee reference! haha
There both perfect
They sure do gloat when they take your guy out! 🤔 Maybe they're goading you into putting in just one more quarter 😅
Yeah, that third button is probably the secret! 🤗
Its a weird game. I one have with a pcbjunkie jamma adapter.
What would cause the screen to reboot on my Taito Superman Arcade game
Love ur videos Joe
Joe the high scores are different. The 1st one you played had 4666000 and the 2nd one had 5000000.
gladiator looks kind of tough.
wimp
I don't remember Gladiator but I don't see how it could possibly be better than bosconian
That's pretty negative don't you think
@LyonsArcade Nah, Bosconian is one of my all-time faves. I used to go to 7-11 at lunch in high school and play that almost every day during my sophomore year.
it wasnt broke
How do I get to do what you do
Believe me, you do not want to do what I do :)
@@LyonsArcade I miss the electronics repair I used to do
C'mon Joe, you take us for simpletons? We know that was a decoy harness and trick photography, that game is still broke! 🤣🤣
Yodelayheehoo
Hello Lil Everette!
There was a sequel from 1992 and it's not a good game the actual company that made this game
Their both broke
Please stop fat shaming thicc ground connectors Ron!!!
