At 45k+ it amazes me that led turn signals/multibeam led headlights are still considered a "luxury" add on feature that a 29k honda/kia/ford include as standard equipment...
The lighting view on the rear of the premium model is far more slick & attractive than that of the luxury. It's the silver in the lights lining up with the silver trim that is so nice looking.
Thank you for a terrific intro to the last of the finest the mighty RX 350, took me a while but I was able to procure 2 of these exactly like shown in this comparison, (both certified and very low miles) I drive the premium and the lucky wife got the luxury. Thanks for pointing out the wide angle on the back up camera, didn’t know I could adjust that feature, much obliged. After driving other automobiles for many decades (yes I’m old) these are the best of the pack, especially until the year 2022 the last year of the smooth V6 engine, they’re also designed to perform with 87 octane gasoline as opposed to the 23-24 models …Our V6s glide like on a cloud, suspension is excellent damping road imperfections for comfortable long trips, outward visibility is great, vehicle is tight and solid overall, with heavy doors, road noise and outward ambience is damped by the thick windows and material in the trunk. I highly recommend to upgrade to Michelin tires for both of these vehicles (less road noise) they are best to keep noise levels to a minimum with added comfort and handling. Lastly, no other car maker has the Lexus reliability, in my humble view, I’ve found the perfect vehicles, will keep these until my furlough here on earth is revoked. Thank you for reading my late night rambling, best regards and happy life to everyone here.
I’ve had my 21’ for two weeks and it’s awesome. I selected the F Sport Package AWD 20 “ wheels. I used TrueCar and purchased at home in 1 hour. $2000.00 down $601.00 a month for 36 months. No HUD or power buttons to lower seats. White exterior Black interior. Beautiful and a very tight drive.
Thanks Kenny. Great concise video on the differences. I would opt for the luxury since I am a senior and I have never seen an armored car follow a hearse.
By their doing that it defeats the hold purpose of even buying a premium vehicles if a non premium car is going to be more equipped than your premium ride vehicle
Very nice comparison! Thank you for doing this. I really want the pano roof and triple beam headlights, as well as the full screen infotainment and 360 camera. I guess I need the luxury package. My budget isn't too happy about that.
Well everything is subjective, I bought a 2015 RX F sport kept it only for 3 years, ride too stiff for my taste as Lexus tightened the suspension for that sporty feel, which in my humble opinion defeats the vehicle’s purpose of smooth comfortable ride. Also the front seats hugged me too tight, I’m 6’2 225 lbs didn’t feel comfortable in long trips, so after only 3 years of use I sold it to Carmax.
@Mervin, I’m almost 66 I bought (both certified) 2 2022s the wife got the luxury and I drive the premium. After many decades of owning different brands and models, in my humble view, these are the best I ever had. They are regular RXs in other (although premium and luxury models) words, no more F sports for me.
I just got the RX350 Luxury Model and was a bit overwhelmed but between the sales person and your video comparison I am ready to test out all the neat features. This is my first luxury vehicle so thank you for a well organized and informative comparison. Great job!
Two interesting things I noticed that my 2017 RX (Luxury Version) has that these don't have. First, Lexus apparently did away with the S-Flow feature/button on the Climate Control screen which now simply says "Dual". I like S-Flow personally which cuts off air flow to the rear (if no one is back there) & concentrates it on the front seat occupants and, if only the driver is present, cuts off the passenger vents as well. I also noticed that it appears (at least visually) that they did away with the cornering lights in the front that turn to illuminate a corner when you make a turn (although I could be mistaken...it just looks different on these models & I didn't see them).
Thanks for the tour and all the demonstrations. Great comparisons! The only thing that didn't attract me that much are the seats color. Nevertheless, this car is perfect!
Have you ever seen a Luxury model F-Sport? I’m in Taiwan and my wife just bought an F-Sport that has all the Luxury model options in your video. It’s got the power rear fold down seats, rear door shades, pano moon roof, Mark Levinson sound system, etc. I’m wondering ours is just an Asia spec car because I’ve not seen one like it back in the US on RUclips. We take delivery on Friday and I’m just trying to do some research.
Hey Jay, I have a 2017 RX450h in F-Sport. We have all the luxury options with ours, including the HUD, Pano camera, Pano Roof, heated rear seats, power rear seats. I’m not sure if the newer 2020 models have the option.
Kenny,I have been watching and enjoying your videos as Im looking at RX350 or new IS350 for possible purchase..I would like to know your opinion on the Lexus NuLuxe upholstery compared to the natural leather....How does it feel and smell...Thanks
Hello! Typically Nuluxe will wear better than leather but honestly it still feels as good as the real leather, only the actual leather interior is a bit softer while Nuluxe is more firm. Both pretty much smell the same to me though
Excellent! no one else does a literal side by side comparison !
8:55 - The HUD can be configured to display more things like RPM, as well as colored navigation alerts.

I really appreciate how you compared the two cars so we can understand the differences. Thank you.
I agree 😊

Or put another way - you can buy the luxury or let your heirs buy the luxury. Your choice 😅
@@islandknight6105 lol But still, the upgrade doesn't warrant the $8K+ price tag. That's 7 months worth of mortgage payments or the kid's braces.
….But, you could have always “willed” the luxury trim model to me
@@stephenfiore9960Hahaha 🤭
Thank you for this side by side comparison Kenny. Videos like this are so helpful. Lets me be a more informed buyer on this Lexus model.
You answered all my question! Thank you so much
Wow, every time you look at that big screen and only see 8" of it, you feel punished for not buying a higher trim model! They need to fix that!

Any differences with the 2021 RX 350 F sport ?

It's only available in the RX350L
I have a 2021 RX 450h luxury with cornering lights.
s-flow was moved to an on screen option and the cornering lights are still available being built in to the fog light housing

can the headlights be upgraded to the triple after market?

no sequential blinkers ??? pfff

Hi brother
Like the luxury model, but cannot stand the grill which I think is the ugliest in the entire industry.
I agree with you, that’s my number 1 reason I prefer the other luxury brand 😆
I love the grill.
I agree on the grill. It is overwhelming. However SUV is still the best.
