Nice review! We traded for a 2022 RX350 luxury package this morning. Love the ride quality. The only negative was the finance guy tried to push the extended warranty and maintenance on us for over $5000. With the standard 4 year 50k warranty, i didn’t go for that, especially since we’ll likely be trading it in well before reaching 50k miles. It’s our first Lexus and we hope it’s a good one. The people we know that have them love them and have put up to 275k trouble free miles on them.

Just bought a Gen4 F Sport (2016) today after driving a 2004 330 for years. The moment i found out the V6 was being phased out, there was no way i was going to pass up this opportunity. Its the perfect balance. Luxury but not gawdy, fast but not uncontrollable. Added a Platinum warranty just because. And didn't hurt that i work in sales at the dealership i bought it from soooooo discount was... heavy.. so to speak. I couldn't be happier. (I originally planned to take the 330 until the wheels fell off)
PS people who don't like the grill are crazy, tasteless and have no style.

I own a 2010 Lexus RX350 with 140,000 miles. It has been operating impeccably for its entire life. It still looks beautiful and is very well maintained.
I may purchase a 2022 or 2023 in the future and still keep my 2910 as a third automobile. My second vehicle is a 2003 long bed pick truck, which also performs impeccably. I maintain all my vehicles well, and they treat me well.

I've had my 2022 RX450h for 2 weeks. It drives beautifully. The infotainment system is most frustrating. The voice commands don't do what I ask, possibly because of things I've not done right but it's uphill all the way. It's a lovely car with an infotainment system that isn't easy.

Own 2022 rx 450h fully loaded. And just got a 2022GX 460 ff(sports package). While both look great I would say matt finish is the best. All my friends and family admire its presence. Even during dinner and barbecue. While rx poster (4x6ft) is in the living room, I have got the gx poster(also 4x6ft)in the dining room. So the gas guzzler can be fed as and when needed. Love them both!

I bought a 2021 RX 450H sport 3, it has every option so fully loaded model. Paid about 76,000k Canadian have 16,000km and 8 months of driving. So far loving every feature and option it has, my biggest negative is that the recommended fuel is premium. So the hybrid savings probably get cancelled out by the higher cost of fuel. On the plus side of that less emissions because your in electric mode if you drive under 70km/hr and are on flat ground and being gentle on the gas pedal. It is the most comfortable car I’ve ever been in, the wife has a 2014 Lincoln MKX and the RX destroys it for comfort. The V6 motor is generally very quiet and has loads of passing power at high speeds. I had an NX 300 loaner for a couple days and it was a rougher ride, felt noticeably smaller, glad I went with the RX instead, when I was test driving both before buying they didn’t seem all that different at the time. But the RX is about 10k more if memory serves correct. Hope this helps anyone on the fence about buying an RX350 or 450

@@jasonmarshall8550 the premium fuel requirement is really a shame. I’m getting 5.8 l/100 km out of my UX250h (but it’s getting a bit tiny, looking to upgrade to RX). I’m hooked to Lexus hybrid :)

      @clubmogambo3214 2 года назад +3

@@stanislausmarcharibowo4044 - That's precisely why I ended up buying the '21 RX350 instead. I was hell bent on getting the 450h until I learned that it requires premium fuel. I mean, yes you get better mileage, but when factoring in the extra cost for premium gas along with the additional $5k or so to purchase the hybrid over the standard, it all but eliminated any advantages of buying it. Gotta tell you tho, hybrid or not, this baby is the perfect vehicle. Just flat out perfect.

Drove a 2014 RX Fsport, fabulous car, never hiccuped; busted the windshield doing a spark plug swap-would have been cheaper at the dealer. Replaced with a 2021 RX Premium edition, was OK but not spectacular. Replaced with a 2022 RX Fsport Series 2, over the top. Not a fan of big bore turbo 4s, only 5000 miles on my 2022 Fsport, going to skip the 2023/24 editions. Really old man, probably my last ride. Have a 6 cyl Accord coupe for summer fun, 25,00 miles on the clock. Sounds fantastic, handles like a dream for a FWD car

I have a 2022, and traded in a Hybrid for the V6, cause I want the reliability over the gas mileage. First the hybrid had me leave me stranded twice with just not starting. Yes you get a 10/120k warranty for the battery, but I was told by a service manager it will cost you $7-15k to change out the battery. And with all the tree push to get rid of these super reliable engines I had to grab the V6 before it goes away. And plan to do the same again and get a 2023 Lexus ES350, cause this could be the last year of its V6 run as well!

2018 RX 350 FWD, 50K miles. From day one off the dealership lot, there was a metallic rattle from the driver side door panel which sounds like a paperclip in a tin cup. It is alleviated with pressure on the door panel where the wood trip is. The dealership keeps saying they don't hear it. So, I drive with my elbow against the panel to avoid going mad.
Lane keep assistance (LKA) is not reliable especially around curves--even gentle curves on highways. It will violate the lane in well-marked lanes around curves. Compared to a Hyundai dive assist which was perfect! The Hyundai is pretty much self-driving except they aren't calling it that. Thus, for my Lexus, I'm not at all at ease with the LKA. Have post-2018 models bettered this?
The entertainment system's radio tuning display is incongruent in that the highlighted station on the selection list may not be the one that's actually playing. That is, what you see is not what you get. Do you all know if post-2018 models have remedied this incongruency?
The climate control display is not the most intuitive. For instance, to turn on/off the rear-seat vents, you have to go into a "hidden" screen to toggle on/off. The dual climate control segregation could be better buffered for the front seats.
Carplay is not available. Do the post-2018 models have wireless navigation app interfaces like Carplay and music streaming?
360-degree view. Is this feature available for the 2022 model?
Ride quality on rough roads (as is common in Houston) could be better. As a comparison, the ride quality in a RAM 1500 truck on rough roads is smoooooth. A Lexus luxury vehicle should not be bested by a pickup truck for heaven's sake.
Software package. Does Lexus offer continuous over-the-air updates like Tesla?
For comparison, can anybody offer a personal experience of the RX350 vs Tesla Model Y?
