Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you've had a wonderful weekend and that you enjoy these 'cottagecore' book recommendations. For those new to my channel, do check out my free Spring Commonplace Book Guide, which includes a list of wonderful books to read in the springtime, as well as spring quotes, artwork and a recipe for Rhubarb and Elderflower cake: www.mirandajanemills.com/springcommonplacebook
Hi Miranda! I hope you are well and in high spirits. I just wanted to contribute to the "cottage core" country side aesthetics by recommending the book I am reading at the moment. It's "An Irish Country Doctor", by Patrick Taylor and it's set in a small village somewhere near Belfast and there's this new doctor with a brand new diploma who moves from Belfast to this village to be the assistant of the local doctor there. It kind of reminds me of "All the Creatures Great and Small" but set in the 1960s and the villagers and this old doctor are so funny and charming and this new doctor is so determined to play by the rules and what the books say... when rules don't really apply to the Irish countryside. They're rough on the outside but such good people on the inside that I think you would love them.
Lovely video, Miranda. I'm definitely one for the romanticized cottage core aesthetic and lifestyle. I think it comes from growing up in the sixties in the US in a brick "rancher" with a grassy lawn and not much else, when all the fairy tales and children's books were set in cottages amongst gardens in the English countryside or woods. I'm in the countryside and woods now and though my house isn't exactly a traditional cottage style, it's more of a rustic cabin, I find this life suits me. Funny how childhood reading can shape your dreams of home. Love so many of your recommendations and have several of them. I've wanted to read The Lark for a long time, having read Nesbit's biography. It sounds like it was inspired by her own experiences - trying to find ways to make money like having a market garden and taking 'paying guests'. Your production always looks lovely and I marvel at the technology skills like video editing! Your lighting is beautiful. Hope you get some more lovely spring weather and can get back out into those gorgeous bluebell woods.
Loved reading your comment, Carolyn! I so recommend The Lark - it’s a delightful read. Fingers crossed we get some sunshine here! 💕
Hello Miranda,
It has been a joy to discover you on social media and every one of your RUclips vlogs I have watched have inspired me beyond belief. I grew up on a farm in the 1950’s and although we had a level of freedom unknown to children today my childhood was very book poor. I have been greatly encouraged by you and Donna to make up for lost time and read the books I know would have enthralled me as a child. Thank you so much for the hard work you put into your vlogs, bless you both.
Ann xx
That’s so kind of you to say, Ann, and means so much to me! Thank you for your lovely comment. I honestly believe that the best children’s books are wonderful to read at any age 💙📚
Thanks!
Thank you very much for your generous support! Your kindness really means so much ❤️xxx
What a wonderful and magical video, Miranda! I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere, the flowers, the walk, the books... everything! A big thank you for this work of art!
So glad you enjoyed it, Cristina! Thank you for your kind words 😊💕
What a lovely walk through the flowering woods! The Lark has been on my list for much too long. It sounds wonderfully warm. My son used to adore The Wind Boy and Brambly Hedge when he was little-and I have such nice memories of reading them with him.
Lovely video and suggestions! My favourites for this time of year are A Traveller in Time, Lark Rise to Candleford, I Capture the Castle, Cold Comfort Farm, Tess of the d'Urbervilles, Cider with Rosie, Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea, Our Village, The Secret Garden and Alice in Wonderland! I am also having fun reading all the Borrower's books right now! Almost done with the 3rd one and should finish tonight!
I love EVERYTHING "Edwardian Lady"!! The tv series used to be on youtube--it, too, was lovely, though the books beat it, of course. I also love The Blue Castle which I read/reviewed for the first time last year. Just wonderful. I'd venture to add the relevant chapters from One Woman's Year by Stella Martin Currey and Kitchen Essays by Agnes Jekyll
Beautiful 🥰 Thank you xxx
This is such an inspirational and beautiful video as always! Thank you! Oh, how I love Little Grey Rabbit! We had them as children and I have read them to my own children. If I may I would recommend Swedish author and illustrator Elsa Beskow's children's books. For example Children of the Forest, The Flowers' Festival or The Sun Egg among many others, they are so adorable, and could not be more "cottagecore" I think.
Thanks so much, Henrietta! I love Elsa Beskow’s beautiful picture books too: as you say, they’re adorable, and I had a selection of them on my shelves as a child I remember 💙📚
It was a beautiful blue mist looked surreal thank you for such a vision
Ah, classic Miranda. Such a beautiful video. When I was child, my Mum introduced me to the Derek Tangye books and they have been a favourite ever since. They are about his life on a clifftop cottage in Cornwall with his wife Jeannie and various animals. The book, Jeannie, chronicles their sophisticated, glamourous lives in London pre-move. I love the sound of the Beverley Nichols book. I think I'll try and find that next. Sxx
Thank you! My mum introduced me to Derek Tangye's books when we first visited Cornwall - they are charming! xxx
How magical it must be to walk through a bluebell wood. Breathtaking! I have always fantasized about living in a little cottage - there are some adorable ones in the part of Long Island where I grew up and now live - all with lovely gardens of course. Although I live in an apartment - because it is in a wooded area and on the ground floor I do think of it as my peaceful cottage. No garden, but I have a large pot of purple pansies by my front door, which makes me smile. 😊 "The Lark", "Father" and "The Blue Castle" were my top cozy reads of 2022. I would also add Mary Stewart's "The Rose Cottage" and any of Susan Branch's books. Have a wonderful week, Miranda!! 💕
Thank you, Nancy! I know just what you mean about some of those lovely Long Island cottages. Yes, some of Mary Stewart's books would fit the bill too 💖
Hi MIranda, I LOVE your channel! It is the best! The wonderful comfort book club, incredible recommendations, baking, cooking, nature walks....it's just perfect! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Warmest aloha, Patty
Thanks so much to you Patty for your generous support and very kind words! I’m so pleased you love the channel and appreciate your generosity so much ❤️📚💐xxx
I spent all day yesterday refreshing my RUclips feed waiting for your video. At the end of the day I told my daughter how disappointed I was that you didn't post anything because you usually post on Sundays. To which she replied, "Today's Saturday." and we had a good laugh. 🤣
😂❤️
Dear Miranda,What a beautiful enchanting Spring video. What great content for a Cottage core lover. Through the years I have collected a few of your beautiful illustration in today’s video . The Cottage Pie has been a hard one to find. I appreciate all your videos so much since I love celebrating and cooking and living with the seasons.🌷📚☕️🧁
That makes me very happy to read! Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I’m so pleased the videos and book recommendations have inspired you to look for the books yourself! 🤞 you’ll find your own copy of Cottage Pie soon! 💙📚
Thank you so much for these recommendations, Miranda :) I especially loved that you featured The Flower Fairies - so timeless. I've been very in the mood for light, homely books in recent weeks too and have been re reading Barbara Pym's Less Than Angels. I'm also in the middle of The Blue Castle and really enjoying it so far!
So glad you're enjoying it! Hope you enjoy the other recommendations too xxx
@@MirandaMills I just remembered.. I used to love The Oak Tree Tales as a child, by Dorothea King.. the titles were Mistress Hedgehog and Master Rabbit etc.. You might like those as vintage children's reads. Lots of sweet animal homes and domestic details in the same vein as Brambly Hedge!
Thank you, such a comfort💕🥰
Happy tuesday Miranda! This video is so special and I have enjoyed it very, very much. I live in Barcelona but I would love to live in the countryside. Just came from a trip to Provence so I am feeling very in love with Cottagecore!! Thanks to you I have come to know Alison Uttley and some other wonderful nature and country living writers. I just can't thank you enough for all your lovely inspiration and beauty in all your work. Wish you and Donna a beautiful day!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Carla! I'm so glad you enjoyed this video. Provence is so beautiful! I hope you had a wonderful holiday xxx
Once again, your video provides me with so many wonderful recommendations and a peaceful feeling. When you mentioned illustrations by Tasha Tudor, it reminded me that I recently discovered I own a copy of The Doll's House by Rumer Godden with Tasha Tudor's illustrations! I was straightening out some bookshelves to fill a box for donation to our public library book drive. I was thrilled! I hope you and your mum have a cozy, comforting Sunday.
What a lovely find whilst you were sorting your books, Shelli! Tasha Tudor and Rumer Godden are a wonderful combination. Enjoy a restful and cosy Sunday too! 💙📚
Miranda Mills ThanksMuch!
You’re very welcome!
Dearest, wake up! Latest Cottagecore content just dropped.
Lovely video, not heard of cottagecore before.
I grew up on my mothers copies of Little Grey Rabbit, it I didn’t know Alison Uttley had written essays! I shall keep my eye out for them thanks for the share of information!
The bluebell wood looked just magical! I hope I get the chance to see one sometime. Your book recommendations always delight - I put The Lark and The Blue Castle on my TBR list. Just finished reading Pink Sugar and I Capture the Castle and loved both.
Yay! So glad you’re enjoying the recommendations, and I’m so pleased you’ll be reading The Blue Castle and The Lark too! Hope you’ll get to see a bluebell wood for yourself before too long! Such an incredible sight and scent! 💙📚
Can't wait to read The Blue Castle. One can't beat a cottage on an island for cozy comfort! Charming video, Miranda. I haven't been to England during bluebell season but it's on my bucket list. I wonder if the perfume captures the scent accurately.
I don’t think there’s anything quite like the real thing, Faith! Hope you can experience yourself before too long 💙
Such a beautiful, tranquil beginning to this video, I really loved it. Enjoyed all the book recommendations as always. I have read many of them, but hearing you describe them so warmly always makes me want to reread! I love the Susan Hill books - as you said, the illustrations are as wonderful as the words. I will try making the muffins, they look delicious! Thank you for another truly lovely video Miranda.
I am so glad you recommended Little Grey Rabbit, a favourite of mine growing up. I then passed my copies onto my daughter, who I can still see now propped up in bed reading them. She is now 24 but still counts them as some of her favourite books from childhood as well.Thank you Miranda for another beautiful video. We are going into winter in New Zealand, so it was especially nice to see the spring flowers.
Dear Miranda, I truly adore this vlog! I watched it twice because I didn’t want to miss a word of your charming reviews of cottagecore books… one of my mother’s favourite books was The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady and I still have her copy ( in Italian, she didn’t speak English) which I treasure as a cherished keepsake. The wood with the gorgeous bluebell carpet looks like fairyland: pure magic! Thank you for al these beautiful soothing images.
Thanks so much for your kind words, Laura! I love that you have your mother’s copy of Edith Holden’s wonderful book. That’s so special! ❤️📚
Thank you for a lovely video!🌺
You’re so welcome, Maria! Glad you enjoyed it 💙📚
I'd like thank you for this lovely video. Your vintage book recommendations always unlock such happy memories of books and, or movies I loved as a child. I used to love flowers and flower gardens and had quite a few picture books, fairytales, story and nature books with and about flowers and gardens. Sadly I don't have them any more and don't really remember titles. I used to collect postcards and illustrations too😊 Alice in Wonderland was my favourite movie mainly for the opinionated, rambunctious flowers 😁
it's funny how we can forget things as adults. I will look for some of the books you recommended
Thank you so much for your very kind support. I really appreciate it, and I’m so glad you enjoyed the video 😊❤️
Loved loved loved this vlog. My book list is getting longer 😂❤
Thank you for the lovely recommendations and inspiration Miranda ❤
Thanks so much for your kind words, Sarah! Have a great start to your week💙📚
I love this list of books! My favorite L. M. Montgomery book is The Story Girl, I love Sara Stanley!
Oh, I had forgot about The Story Girl! We had it as girls me and my sisters. I loved it. There is so much talk about Anne of Green Gables that one tends to forget she wrote so many other books too.
Very serene, miss England in Spring time.
I really enjoyed this video! Wonderful and beautiful book suggestions. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your lovely support, Jennifer! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, and I really appreciate your kindness ❤️
I probably buy about 75 percent of the books you recommend 😊 I’ve seen every single one of your videos and love them.
Hurrah! A glorious list of country-related books to search out!! Thanks, Miranda..... I am always delighted when some of the books you love are also some of the favourites on my shelves.... That's a warm feeling - that there are others with similar tastes. I do love your vlogs; thank you, from the countryside in New Zealand!
Hi Miranda, I have throughly enjoyed your video. I am in bed having tested positive for covid ,so your videos are helping. The bluebells looked wonderful. The muffins that you baked looked lovely. Thank you for the book recommendations. Xx
You're so welcome, Jayne! I hope your test comes back negative, or if positive, you're feeling better soon and can enjoy some quiet reading time while you recover ❤️ xx
Thank you Miranda, sadly it has come back positive, but at least I can enjoy more reading time. X
The walk through the woods a lovely start to your video and book suggestions!
Thank you so much, Betty! It really was a beautiful walk💙📚
Miranda, what a beautiful soul you are....so grateful for your recommendations, your channel, and your bright spirit! And Love the Comfort Book Club too!! 😊
Lovely lovely vlog Miranda. You’ve reminded me of a lot of my favorite books ❤️
Father is a great read. Loved it. Beautiful poppies…I think those are poppies…
📚❤️ They are!
The bluebells are really excelling themselves this year! This was such a fabulous video and I shall be adding several of those books to my wish list ☺️.
Yes, they're looking spectacular! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, thank you! xxx
Wonderful video, thank you Miranda. I can't wait to check out some of the books you recommended.
Hello Miranda, thanks for sharing some charming books on the theme of cottages and spring. The sight of the beautiful bluebell wood is delightful. Enjoy those delicious muffins.
Lovely piano music piece!
I am so enjoying your videos this year! Please keep sharing information on the Commonplace Book, I have just started my own. Regarding the muffin recipe, you can bake all 12 muffins and freeze the other 6 to have on hand when needed. Just thaw in a low oven and they will be just as good as fresh baked! :)
The Lark looks so sweet! I need to get that one for sure.
Such a favourite of mine! ❤️📚
Thank you for the download.
Thank you Miranda for all the lovely recommendations.
It was also lovely to see a Cecily Mary Barker flower fairy on the cover of The Lark book 😊
It was my own copy of that book placed in front of the pink Penguin cover of The Lark, Shelli, but I love the Flower Fairies books too! 💙📚
Absolutely gorgeous opening. It is a pleasure to watch. Thank you Miranda.
Thanks so much for your kind words, Suzanne! Wish I could have shared the beautiful scent too 💙
Thanks for the lovely recommendations!
Thank you so much, Sarah, for your lovely comment and very kind support. I appreciate your generosity so much 💙📚
Such a lovely video! Thank you very much, dear Miranda! The bluebells are so stunning!! I am very pleased that I was able to have alreadye aquired quite a view of your recommendations! They are all very beautiful books! Have a wonderful week with your mom!❤
You’re so welcome, Inga! So glad you enjoyed it. Have a lovely week ahead too! 💙📚
Thank you so much for your recommendations, Miranda!
You’re very welcome, Daria! ❤️📚
So lovely to see a vlog from you again 🥰
This was so charming - great to see the Susan Hill books and the Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady; these live on my kitchen windowsill. I also own many editions of ‘The Wind in the Willows’ and think Badger probably invented cottagecore ! I love HE Bates’ ‘Darling Buds of May’ series of books for spring/summer - they’re so evocative of that easy, cosy, country life. If you’ve never read Mollie Harris’ ‘A Kind of Magic’, I think you’d really enjoy it too! Thank you, and keep the fabulous content coming, and especially the book recommendations!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Catriona! I’m so glad you enjoy the videos and book recommendations. It’s a small bookish world sometimes as I also enjoy Mollie Harris’ memoirs and and am another fan of her writing, along with the fiction and non fiction of H.E. Bates. Lovely to read of another enthusiast ❤️📚
Such a beautiful vlog, this was so relaxing to watch 😊 thank you
I’m so glad you enjoyed it, thank you! 😊📚💕
Thank you for all book recommendations for lovers of Cottage Core and cozy reads. I am hoping to find some of your choices as audiobooks to listen to as I work in the garden.
So glad you enjoyed these recommendations! 💙
Thank you for the video. I love The Magic Apple Tree by Susan Hill, also a fan of Gladys Taber. Childhood favourites include the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder which feature many domestic details even going into detail about Pa built some of the places they lived such as log cabins and sod houses.
Thanks so much, Lynne! Those are all favourites of mine too ❤️📚
Such a magical video Miranda, love it all, the blue bells, the muffins but even more the books that are absolutely delightful and I’m going to try get them slowly, at least those I can find! Thank you as always for the recommendations and for bringing some magic alive! ❤️📚❤️
Thank you so much, Raffaela, for your very kind words! I’m so happy you enjoyed the video and are inspired to find your own copies of the books! Happy book hunting 💙📚💐
Thank you, Miranda! This is very relaxing!!
You always bring me to a peaceful place at the end of the day. The flower arrangements in this video were stunning!
Those bluebells in the woods... absolute beauty, magic, and peace... Loved it! Your whole video has that vibe... 🙂 Wonderful book suggestions too! Super video, Miranda! Thank you.
Thanks so much, Grace! 💙💐
Love the Blue Castle! Another L.M. Montgomery that I think is very cottagecore is "Jane of Lantern Hill"...I highly recommend it. Lovely peaceful vlog as usual.
Thank you so much, Sue! I really enjoyed Jane of Lantern Hill too, but haven’t read it for some time. Your prompt reminds me I want to read it again - many thanks for the suggestion ❤️📚
So many great recommendations as usual, you are so thoughtful to always come through with great topics as well!
I was so happy to see your video this morning! It's been a tough couple of days as my son and I both contracted strep throat. I have been enjoying the bluebells near our house as well and I will definitely we making those muffins soon. Thank you for all the work you do creating beautiful content for us to enjoy!
Sending get well soon vibes for you and your son, April! Strep throats can be very painful so hope you’re both feeling much better soon and up to eating a muffin (or two!) 💙📚
@@MirandaMills Thank you!
Great recommendations! I haven't heard of most of these books, so I'm really excited to find and read them 🥰
Hello Miranda
So enjoy your videos and newsletters. Thank you
I was wondering if you could suggest how to get out of a reading slump.
Thank you xx
Hello Miranda, Happy Sunday! All my best to you and your mother. You have me thinking of making lemon poppy seed muffins with lemon icing! No bananas on hand right now. Oh well. I have just ordered "The Blue Castle". It will be a great read. I just recently finished "A Long Fatal Love Chase" by Louisa May Alcott. The book was serialized under a different name two years before "Little Women". It was found buried among the author's papers over a century later. Your walks in the lovely Yorkshire countryside are always soothing to me. We are warming up here in Northern California. Nineties by June so I will look forward for any book recommendations for Summer reading!
Happy Sunday to you too, Carolyn! That Alcott is so interesting and so different from Little Women of course. Enjoy those lemon poppy seed muffins xxx
So enjoyable, and uplifting, Miranda. I now have lots of books on my list to try and resource!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it, Sue! Happy book hunting 😊📚❤️
Hello Miranda great start to the day . . beautiful walk in the woods seeing those gorgeous blue bells greeting you . .those muffins look so yummy 😋 . . tfs your latest spring reads 📚
Have a beautiful blessed Sunday enjoy your day/evening take care ❤🙋♀️🥰🌺🦋💐🌻🌹

Such an inspiring vlog as always thank you Miranda.
Hi Miranda, I loved your Spring Commonplace book and have started my own ‘ Summer Commonplace Book’ as it’s summer where I live ! Thank you for the inspiration and the lovely videos.
So happy it’s inspiring you to start your own commonplace book 💙📘
Hi Miranda, I'm visiting my mom, Dorothy and sister, Jenneth in Cape Town and we were so surprised and thrilled to find The Key of Rose Cottage in a little seaside second hand bookstore! What a find and such a lovely read! Thanks for the recommendation! 🌷🌸💕
Have you ever read anything by Gladys Taber? I love all of her Stillmeadow books. They are so peaceful and comforting.
Yes, I have quite a few of Gladys Taber’s wonderful books. I agree: her writing is so comforting! 💙📚
Hello, Miranda, thank you for another wonderful video!
Since you asked... I recommend "Betty Crocker's Kitchen Gardens, A Year 'Round Guide to Growing and Using Herbs and Vegetables" by Mary Mason Campbell and illustrated by the great TASHA TUDOR. It has lovely anecdotes, advice, quotes, and recipes... and, of course, beautiful drawings throughout. 🙂
It's definitely NOT your typical Betty Crocker cookbook!
Lovely visiting your corner of the world. Thank you
Hello Miranda. What a lovely and relaxing video. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon. I, too, read seasonally and your selection of springtime cottage core books are all so delightful. I have read Beverly Nichols trilogy and loved it. I also have Edith Holden’s book and the Country Diaries on my nightstand. Both are perfect reads when the cool night air comes in my bedroom window with the scent of jasmine. A nice way to end the day.🌸
Thanks so much, Glenda! Have a good start to the week and enjoy your spring bedside reads 😊❤️📚
beautiful, beautiful video💜
Such a lovely video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. So cozy with so many delightful recommendations. I have a few of the recommendations, but I see more I'd like to find and read. The muffins look quite scrumptious too! Thank you Miranda for a trip to the country to ease my soul for a bit.
Oh, I so look forward to your book reccomendations!!!❤❤❤
Thanks so much, Pamela! 📚❤️
Thanks for all your wonderful content, Miranda!
I’m so happy you enjoy it, Carol! Thank you for your lovely comment and generous support. Your kindness means a lot to me xxx❤️
Thank you Miranda, for such a lovely, calming, and magical video. The bluebells were wonderful as in a carpet of blue. Bluebells somehow started to grow in my yard a few years ago and I suppose I am not sure how that happened but I am very pleased they are here now. I loved your book recommendations and I just ordered Country Diaries. It too will live on my bedtable. I am hoping to also read my copy of Elizabeth and her German Garden for Spring as well as well as a reread of The Blue Castle. Have a good week.
Thank you for your lovely comment, Carol! Bluebells are such a joy of Spring! Wishing you a great week ahead with plenty of reading time for those lovely books 💙📚
A book I discovered not long ago that’s extremely Cottagecore imho is Strawberry Acres by Grace S Richmond. It’s out of print but it was such a wonderful story! It’s about a family who move to a country home from the city and grow strawberries.
One to look out for - thanks so much for the recommendation! ❤️
I recently found your ytube video's and I've really enjoyed trying your book recommendations. Just started reading China Court and can't wait to read more.
I’m so happy to read that! China Court is a fascinating book. Happy reading! 💙📚
A beautiful vlog, Miranda, thank you💙. I read The Lark last year with the club and I absolutely adored it. I’ll be reading The Blue Castle in May and am looking forward to it. All of the books you mentioned are delightful and I want to read all the ones I have yet to read. Your copy of The Wind in the Willows is gorgeous. I think Tasha Tudor is the perfect illustrator for this book. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead.💕
Thanks so much, Sandy! Hope you enjoy The Blue Castle as much as we do! Have a restful Sunday! 💙📚
💙
Thanks
Thanks so very much for your kind support, Carol! I so appreciate it💙📚
The beginning shots in this video - just wow! A few years ago my kids and I discovered a bluebell lined hidden path along the river in a local park and we make it a point to go back every year just for the experience:). The “little things” are so worth making time for! As for books, I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of the American author Gladys Taber but I discovered her last year and so enjoy her writing.. The first one I read was Country Chronicle and I’d definitely recommend it. The Book of Stillmeadow is also lovely and takes us through the year month by month. Her books feel like visiting with a friend!
Thank you! Bluebells are so special! Yes, I have several Gladys Taber books and am a big fan! I've recommended them on my channel too, starting with this video from 2020: ruclips.net/video/XClFdzu2Dlc/видео.html
Ah! Your bluebells are beautiful! We've had and still have daffodils here and are about to see our tulips in bloom! I just happened to notice I need to bake banana bread, but I'm going to make these muffins ... because ... who doesn't need to be fortified by chocolate on a cold and windy Sunday! Thank you for sharing! I've gotten a bit (ha!) behind you in the comfort bookclub reading. I've two chapters left of The Wind and the Willows and will start Sense and Sensibility next, but I'm loving the books. (I started Maman, What are We Called Now? It's so powerful! I'm so glad you introduced me and others to Persephone Books!)
It's so wonderful to see spring flowers! So glad you've been enjoying the Comfort Book Club and Persephone reads! Have a lovely start to the week xxx
Thanks for the lovely book recommendations! I had to add several of these to my tbr list. I just finished reading Lark Rise to Candleford, which has so many lovely descriptions of the English countryside.
So glad you enjoyed them, Anita! The Flora Thompson books are favourites of mine too ❤️📚
Thanks for creating such stunning content.
Thank you so much for your kind support, Melanie! It's much appreciated! ❤️
I appreciate how you set your scenes when filming. Always lovely. I just started a reread of The blue castle. I love this book. I just received my copy of The Wind boy, am looking forward to reading it. Also The country Diary of an Edwardian Lady arrived recently. Its so beautiful. Great list. I'm on the hunt. 🤣. Thank you Miranda, always. 👍📚🤗💕💕
Thank you for your lovely comment, Diane! What fabulous books have arrived for you. I hope you love them all as much as I do! xxx
Lovely video! I always enjoy your book suggestions! By the way, we are on the 4th Vanderbeeker! Loving the series! Thank you for all the hard work you put into these...it is so relaxing to take a break from life and have a watch when you put something out!
Thank you, Heather! So glad you're enjoying the fabulous Vanderbeekers! xxx
💚📚💚📚💚📚💚📚💚📚💚
Thank you for the wonderful recommendations! Also, I seem to recall you had a chocolate muffin recipe with tahini--such depth of flavour!🧁🧡
Love a chocolate and tahini combination too! So happy you liked the recommendations, Mimi! ❤️
I trust that you would recommend really good books and Love that you also share unique ones on the world of booktube💜. We have kind of same taste on books. Thank you
Thank you! Have a lovely start to the week! xxx
