I'm knitting a Radvent Cardigan with AChickThatKnits Advent - a dark, moody advent - and I'm loving it. I agree that you should switch. Having the softer transitions will make for a more beautiful cardigan (in my opinion).

Hi Emily, I was curious of the Van Gogh titles so I looked them up. Advent #5. The Harvest 1888. I’ll post the others on their corresponding episodes. Enjoying your Vlogmas ❤. I watched last year too 😊

I do agree with you, the cardigan will look better using the yarn artists advent. And I can't wait to see both the cardigan and sweater in your different advent yarns. Have a great day and I hope your feeling better soon ❤

Ooh Emily….yes do the Catkins sweater with the FibreFox…gosh even I want to knit that sweater. You need a darker colour for the radvent ….change it up girl!!!

I most likely will be casting on the Catkins, I just want to finish my current garment project first. The pattern for the Catkins does say that once the yoke is completed you can work the main body part inside out to avoid all the purling 😊

My favourite Jane Austen novel is Persuasion! I really think it is the most truly romantic novel, about real love, and people overcoming their youthful mistakes.... ohh it makes me weak!

That Catkins is a lot like the Wool & Pine sweater, Sorrel, with all the dip stitches amd the reverse stockinette. Now I'm not sure if Rachel's pattern is done the same way, but the ladies at wool & Pine have you knit the yoke then turn it inside out and knit it instead of purling the rest. Im sure you can do it that way yourself even if Rachel doesn't write it like that 😅

Whenever I see you wearing that tee shirt, I think you should be wearing your Santa hat. That would be so cute and funny.
