Ok seriously, this video was one of the best I’ve ever seen! A huge congrats goes out to you for all you’ve accomplished, both stitching and finishing. And I really enjoyed seeing your sisters stitching too. Awesome finishes!! I loved this video!! ❤
I was so happy to get all of her finishes done as well! I just handed them off to her. Part of the motivation to get this video done was needing to take the finishes to her for thanksgiving
I LOVED this video! Seeing the finished item as you went through your box was so fun. And the amount of perfect frames you thrifted was impressive! Well done!
Hi Julie, LOVED the video...your finishing is what got me into watching your channel during COVID..you have such a great eye, even for just hunting thrifted frames..I have a hard time finding anything...hearing about the mildewy work in the box makes me want to cry...especially the Baby its Cold, that finish is why i started looking at the primitive patterns, I have quite a few of those now that I intend to do. Which brings me to Heap on the Wood...I had no idea you had done that one and it just moved up onto my winter todo list!😂❤ My lord the ornaments are AWESOME!...your energy is amazing. I don't comment often, but when I do they will be loooong!
Awww thank you so much!!! I was absolutely DEVASTATED when I opened that storage tote, but amazingly the actual stitched area did not get any mold. The frames were a lost cause!
Ohhhh! I could hardly see what I was sewing, because I kept looking up to see what the next finish was🙂! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like this video before, congrats!!!! That was sooo impressive! Thank you!
Oh. My. Gosh! Thank you for all of this gorgeous stitching and finishing! Please, please, please show a video of all your holiday pieces at Christmas time❤️
Ok I'm only partway through. This is incredible Julie! I think your large pieces, the MFE sal and And a Forest Grew, they look fantastic in the frames that you found. All your flat folds are so cute too. I might need to pick your brain on some of your finishing techniques. That holiday hanging for your sis is too cute! Ok I'll be back to watch the rest soon!
Hokey smokes Julie! You are a marvel. You have completely demolished every excuse I have for not finishing my pieces. You made some great frame finds too! I enjoyed seeing how well you “made it work “ when things were just a little off. Hats off to you 👏🏼
All the Thirza's behind you make me smile. What a fun ride of a video! You did SO MUCH! 🤩 Your luck with thrift store frames is amazing. I was thinking of stitching the laurel witch advent this year... seeing your finish(es) I so wanna copy you!
What an amazing video. Your stitching and finishes are so beautiful. Well done. You've nearly inspired me to dig out my box of doom where finished projects go to die 😅.
Holy Crap, Julie, you are on FIRE!!! That's the way to finish things out, though! Quite honestly I loved the frames, I felt you did an excellent job centering the piece in the frame you were "given", and the pieces are DONE!!!! Dang, now I'm motivated to go work on some WIPs, LOL!!!! Happy Thanksgiving!
I loved seeing your finishes!! Now I need to get out my little tub with only a few unfinished things....new mantra....If Julie can do it, so can the rest of us!! You should feel great!
I am doing Fully Finish Friday next year. Each Friday I will choose one finish from my box-o-finishes and do something with it to get it to FFO status. I did 60 finishes this year for my 60th birthday. Thus also have a big box of finishes.
That's amazing! What a great way to celebrate. I love that you chose 60 for your 60th! I might have to borrow this idea and try to finish something on Fridays to get this box cleared out for good!
This is an incredible video. I’m only half way through, but I had to pause because when you showed Otoño, I realized I had 4 minutes left in the day to do Duolingo before I broke my streak. 🤣 Thanks for saving me!
This is great! Congratulations! All these finishes are such an accomplishment; you must feel so good (and lighter, lol). I enjoy seeing your choices in your stitching. Could you send me some of your finishing MOJO? I really need it.
@ you could try something sturdier like decibel light or heavy. I watch a lot of videos for bag makers and they say it helps with fabric that is stretchy
I need you to come to Texas and help me with my tote of finishes lol. I think I’ve fully finished 4 things in the past year, and I’m on finish 18 for the year. 😂 (Card for a friends kid, framed thing for a friends kid, bookmark for a friends kid, ornament for an exchange…yep 4.) Just your eye for frames and putting together a bellpull would help some. (I know they say bellpull are easy…my brain does not compute the instructions.) I’m exhausted thinking about fully finishing that many things in a week.
Julie what a fantastic idea and video! You are a very put your mind to it and it gets done!! What kind of board do you use to mount your projects on. I find foamcore board is kinda thick and hard to cut! Never tried poster board or Matt board! No kidding….ALL of your pieces look fantastic!! CONGRATULATIONS!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2024!
I find foam core way too hard to work with too! I use mat board which I buy as a huge sheet at Michael’s in the framing section. It’s about $7.99 a sheet and of course I use a coupon. It’s thin enough to cut easily but still have stiffness and structure
Wow. You did a lot of finishing. They are all beautiful. When you frame your projects, do you iron on like an SF101. I think that's what it's called. It's an inner lining fabric.
I actually “stole” the plastic canvas out of a Dimensions ornaments kit, but I need to order some more. I have seen it at Amazon and I’m assuming 123stitch will have it. I have never seen it at the craft stores. They have a big count plastic canvas but not 14 count
I was not able to find the Elizabeth Adelsee pattern. I couldn’t see the bottom of the chart? I am sure that I am not spelling it correctly. Can you provide both designer and correct name of chart
Ok seriously, this video was one of the best I’ve ever seen! A huge congrats goes out to you for all you’ve accomplished, both stitching and finishing. And I really enjoyed seeing your sisters stitching too. Awesome finishes!! I loved this video!! ❤
Holy cow, what a huge assortment of awesome stitching and finishing. Congratulations and thanks for sharing and inspiring us!
Magnificent! I am giving you a standing ovation! Wow... so many gorgeous finishes! Wow those Christmas ornaments are fab!
Thank you! I was really happy with those ornaments 😊
Wow! What an experience to watch that! Wonderful pieces. And I loved your sister’s pieces so much too!
I was so happy to get all of her finishes done as well! I just handed them off to her. Part of the motivation to get this video done was needing to take the finishes to her for thanksgiving
Amazing!!! What a great accomplishment to fully finish all of those spectacular pieces. Huge congratulation!!!
WOW!!! I can't even imagine the work that went into all of those finishes! Standing ovation on that one! 👏
Oh my word!!! 😮 Most epic flosstube ever! Thank you for sharing all that goodness.
You're very welcome! I had a blast making it 😊
I LOVED this video! Seeing the finished item as you went through your box was so fun. And the amount of perfect frames you thrifted was impressive! Well done!
Thank you! I was so happy with the frames I found.
That was so fun! I’ve followed you forever and I remember you stitching on all those pieces!
🤣 some of them are so old I don’t even remember stitching on them!!
Wow! Absolutely amazing! I am so impressed and in awe of everything you accomplished. They all look so good! ❤
Thank you so much!!
Congratulations on all your fully finishes. You did a great job and they all look great.
Thank you! It was a crazy month, but I feel accomplished!

Thank you so much! I knew the video was going to get long so I tried to hustle through!
You finished sooooo many things! I was watching you while making all the food yesterday!! It must feel so good to have that box tackled!
I’m drained but it feels good to be DONE!
This is the most amazing flosstube I’ve ever seen! Incredible!
WOW you have some really amazing projects and I love your finishing - gave me some ideas for my own! Happy Stitching
I’m so glad you liked them!
Wow😊 I enjoyed your video. Thank you for sharing your creativity and time.
Holy cats! I’m exhausted. That was an amazing trip and so much inspiration!!! Thank you for sharing.
I am so exhausted! I didn’t even stitch yesterday which is unheard of for me!
Oh. My. Gosh! Thank you for all of this gorgeous stitching and finishing! Please, please, please show a video of all your holiday pieces at Christmas time❤️
Oh that’s a great idea! I will for sure get everything out and do a “tour.”
Ok I'm only partway through. This is incredible Julie! I think your large pieces, the MFE sal and And a Forest Grew, they look fantastic in the frames that you found. Exceptionally fun vid!!!!
That was bloody IMPRESSIVE! 😮
That was really fun! And how awesome to have so many ffo ‘s. That eyeball frame is amazing and I’m super jealous!
Yeah that frame is a favorite of mine!
What an incredible effort Julie!! Congratulations! I hope some of your finishing mojo rubs off on me. 😊😊😊😊😊
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I feel SO much better with those finishes off my table!
Holy smokes! You are an inspiration and a wonder. Thank you so much for sharing.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Hokey smokes Julie! You are a marvel. You have completely demolished every excuse I have for not finishing my pieces. You made some great frame finds too! I enjoyed seeing how well you “made it work “ when things were just a little off. Hats off to you 👏🏼
I am SO glad you enjoyed it! It was a challenge I needed to get those finishes done 🤣 hopefull you’re inspired to FFO some stuff!
Incredible! Every finish looks amazing!
Thank you so much! 🥰
I loved this video! I’m so inspired! Your Laurel Witch advent is awesome!!!
Thank you, Michelle! ❤️
Your sisters etsy pattern is meredith from the film brave. It looks amazing. All the finishes do x
Wow! What great finishes! Thank you for sharing this with us and inspiring me to get to my finishing!
It was a fun challenge! I am so glad you enjoyed it!
Wow. You’ve worked really hard to finish all your lovely pieces well done!
Thank you! 😊
All the Thirza's behind you make me smile.
What a fun ride of a video! You did SO MUCH! 🤩
Your luck with thrift store frames is amazing.
I was thinking of stitching the laurel witch advent this year... seeing your finish(es) I so wanna copy you!
I stalked the thrift store every Saturday (half off day) for months!
Holy cow!! That's absolutely amazing!! You finished SO many pieces! I don't know how you did it!
I think I might have lost my mind 😅 I don’t even want to LOOK at a finish for a long while 🤣
@@kansascitygirlinacoloradow4285 I can imagine! That's more than most people finish in several YEARS! They were all so good too!
What a fun video. Lovely finishes!
Fantastic work !!!!!!!!!
That was EPIC! Just amazing and beautiful finishes! Thank you for sharing.
Awesome video and awesome stitching!!😁
DONE IS FUN! Congratulations! I bet it feels great.
Yes! I needed an intense challenge like this to get me to finally tackle them!
Wow. I always love to see your stitching
This is the inspiration video of the year! I desperately need to pull out my box o’ finishes and at least get a few FFOs done. Love all your finishes!
It was TIME!! I will never let it get like this again 😅
WOW... Amazing body of work😊
Wow, those ornaments were fantastic
Thank you! I was so happy with how they turned out 😊
What an amazing video. Your stitching and finishes are so beautiful. Well done. You've nearly inspired me to dig out my box of doom where finished projects go to die 😅.
I know what you mean! The box of doom is a real thing! You can do it!
Such a great video! You’re truly a master. You’ve totally inspired me to get finishing. Thank you! ❤
You got this!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was stalking the thrift store for those frames every weekend with my measuring tape! 🤣
Wow, wow and wow!!! Absolutely amazed at your accomplishment. Congratulations!
My head is spinning! That was awesome!
I had to push hard the last two days to complete everything and I was EXHAUSTED by the finale
This was one of the best flosstube I have ever watched!! YOU are extremely talented! Thank you for sharing this.
You are too kind!! Thank you! I truly thought I would FFO maybe 10-15 when I came up with the idea! Then I got obsessed and did so many more
Brilliant finishing!
That was amazing!!!
Beautiful posting ❤
Fantastic!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️
I loved seeing your finishes!! Now I need to get out my little tub with only a few unfinished things....new mantra....If Julie can do it, so can the rest of us!! You should feel great!
I was EXHAUSTED by the end 🤣

You do beautiful work......
Thank you! I am so glad you enjoyed it!
Wow! Amazing!
Wow Julie, you are a finishing Queen 👑
This is an incredible video. I’m only half way through, but I had to pause because when you showed Otoño, I realized I had 4 minutes left in the day to do Duolingo before I broke my streak. 🤣 Thanks for saving me!
Omg anything to keep that Duo streak going!!! 🤣
Wow!! U did a lot!
What a great video! Beautiful finishes!
You are an inspiration! I am gonna visit my box of finishes and commence to FFOing.
You’ve got this!! 🤩
Love this video. Gorgeous stitching and finishing! ❤️
Very nice and enjoyable, wonderful accomplishments!!
This was a blast!
Thank you! It was fun to film, but I’m exhausted!
This is great! Congratulations! All these finishes are such an accomplishment; you must feel so good (and lighter, lol). I enjoy seeing your choices in your stitching. Could you send me some of your finishing MOJO? I really need it.
You can do it!
This was a fun video. Something you can do with your fos to help with stretching is put some woven interfacing (sf101) on the back. Just a thought
I do use interfacing and batting, but some of those fabrics are so uncooperative 😭
@ you could try something sturdier like decibel light or heavy. I watch a lot of videos for bag makers and they say it helps with fabric that is stretchy
Wow 🤩 so many stunning 🤩 ffo’s congrats 🎊 have a wonderful evening 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
I need you to come to Texas and help me with my tote of finishes lol. I think I’ve fully finished 4 things in the past year, and I’m on finish 18 for the year. 😂 (Card for a friends kid, framed thing for a friends kid, bookmark for a friends kid, ornament for an exchange…yep 4.)

I’m exhausted thinking about fully finishing that many things in a week.
OMGosh! What a fun video!!! Now do you want to come teach me how to do all that finishing, because I have a pile that looks a lot like yours did LOL.
I’m on a break!!! 🤣
@ 🤣
Julie what a fantastic idea and video! You are a very put your mind to it and it gets done!! What kind of board do you use to mount your projects on. Wow. You did a lot of finishing. They are all beautiful. When you frame your projects, do you iron on like an SF101. I think that's what it's called. It's an inner lining fabric.
I use iron on interfacing for anything that will be stuffed like a pillow. I use batting behind my framed pieces as it helps smooth out the stitching
@kansascitygirlinacoloradow4285 thank you 😊
Epic!
🔥 🔥 #goals
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Brava friend! Great concept and video! So motivating, Thankyou! 🎉Diana
This is exciting as I have a similar box of finishes. Are you going to video your process?🤞
I considered it but quickly realized the video would be hours and hours long if I did 🤣
Amazing finishes! When you use 32 - like the Peace on Earth - do you always use 2 over 2? Your framing is so good.
Where do you get the plastic canvas for the carolyn mannings?
I actually “stole” the plastic canvas out of a Dimensions ornaments kit, but I need to order some more. I have seen it at Amazon and I’m assuming 123stitch will have it. I have never seen it at the craft stores. They have a big count plastic canvas but not 14 count
I couldn't quite hear what you said about the cousin Eddie stitch. Where did you get that chart? My nephew would love that!
Look up “Christmas vacation cross stitch” on Etsy and it will come up on the first page. It’s by RichB*tchCrossStitch
I was not able to find the Elizabeth Adelsee pattern. I couldn’t see the bottom of the chart? I am sure that I am not spelling it correctly. Can you provide both designer and correct name of chart
Hedgerow Stitching Elizabeth Addlesee - should be available as a PDF!
Damn....
