I bought a short shifter with a full metal shift knob for $50 on eBay for my Celica. I absolutely love it!
ChrisFix explains the short shifter really well in his video, you should go and watch it.
IMNOTA it’s obvious. “short shifter” it does exactly what it says. it shortens the throw to shift gears
@@benfocknurbich7729 Yeah, I meant the part where he explain what moving the pivot point does. Because Robbie seemed confused, he though the pivot point should be lower even tho it needs to be higher to shorten the throw. And I think Chris explains that really well with a wood stick. It's really simple but having a good explanation makes it even simpler.

I think it could be worth testing out those ‘precut’ window tinting films from eBay for the civic, and see how well they work , it would make the red in the doors appear less visible and also make it look sharp👌🏻

The notchiness is front the bearing/bushing on the new one. On my car it went from urethane to brass so it’s more precise

My cxracing bov only made the whistle under vacuum and 0.5lb or under boost. Above that it was just a whoosh of air.
That's how I was when I changed the shifter on my mates ej9. There's not a lot of room, you gotta drop the exhaust and its so hard to move when the car can't get high enough

Does It feel like a "sporty" car gear shift? i remember driving the Evo 6 and the gear shifting was so precise and tight, so i wanna do this to the civic becouse even when you are in gear feels so loose. I hope i explained this well, english is not my native lenguage

In my boosted del sol ( b18 on 14pounds making 300hp to wheels) my shirt throw shifter is like 3 inches for my shifts but my del sol have a specific linkage for b series and there a lot different vs like any other b swap linkage for eg and stuff

You should try turbobandit blow off valves, they are cheap and really good
@RobbieFerreira Do you remember how tight the CXRacing BOV was when your first installed it? Maybe try tightening it to where it was then with the current set up you have

exchange the caps on the blow off valves so you have the blue colour on the original blow off valve
