Yes, it is great. But the fact that he is amazing, now in this day and time, is just sad. Why can't these people realize that there is no reason for their stupid customs anymore?
tigrelady they're too poor, so for them there is a need... Better educated and economically stable people don't tend to married their daughters so young, some even have a choice of who to marry.
That young man is really amazing. The fact that he have the realization to be different from other men in his country who marry young woman and step up to educate other young men is a big step for a change. If the men can be educated to respect women, I think the child marriage in Bangladesh can be reduced. Kudos to the young man.
My heart broke for Beezly I couldn’t stop crying for that poor baby. I just don’t understand how ppl can do that to their children. I rather stay poor than marry my daughters off.
Angie P. The symbol of a Bengali bride, the braided hair. She's shaking and she's terrified. But she is pig ugly. I can't get into it. It's like meh. Who would want her? 😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑
John Doe she's beautiful, and even if you think she isn't this documentary is not about how pretty she is, it's about bringing attention and to teach you about their traditions your horrible remarks disgust me, it's because of people like you that women struggle so much
Angie P. I like to think that I have done my share to despoil young girls from an impoverished background and set them down the path of debauchery and degradation. But life is so short and a man's prowess does not last forever. 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞
shirley A-z I think hes a phony and a bully possibly has a young girlfriend himself Not saying that what hes Doing isn't good but puffing himself up to intimidate people is just pathetic Plus seems to do it for the praise
I agree and he is doing it for the right reasons. He doesn't want to see young girls end their life just because their families didn't see them as being wroth something more.
All her dreams died in just a minute. That makes me cry 😢 I wish I could adapt her and take her as my own. I want the best for my girls. Marriage is my last option after they’ve achieved their goals and mature enough to make decisions for themselves. My only part I got to play is to tell them what is wrong and right, and put them on the right track. But not to marry them when they need motherly love the most.
just commenting won't do anything. If you really care, donate to that family or adopt that girl from the parents, or set up programs. " breaks my heart" doesn't do anything.
That guy does't even care about the fact he messed with another child's future. The way he smiles is just one way he shows how he doesn't give a flying fudge. Just makes me so mad.
A vile being he is, I hope he has the saddest life possible, treating a young girl like this when will this backward view change for these poor girls. 😞
the parents dont know any better. They are so poor and the only thing they want is for the girl not to suffer the same fate so in all their ignorance they force their child into marriage hopping she will have a better fate. There should be more information given to the parents who most of the time dont know what they are doing is wrong and what the consequences are for the girl.
My heart aches for this poor little girl of age 13. I was 12 years old when my step dad raped me at age 12. A virgin to I went through for 3 months before my mom moved me and my sister out of state. No criminal charges were brought upon him. I am 59. Never found love. Never married into a normal healthy relationship😔
80% of men are sick creatures. The ones in the west Just had to drop their sick ways because the women have been pushing back. Africa and Asian women still suffer.
80% of men are sick creatures? Come on...with such bullshit you will not change anything for the better. Bad things happen in the world, and many people (men or women) abuse their power. I agree that most of the time men are doing this, not because man are sick creatures, but simply because they are in position of power more often. This is sad, but it doesnt mean that things would be automatically better if women would be in positions of power most of the time. We only can change anything about that if we stand united. Hatred like yours will never result in social progress.
It's easier to rationalize things when you think you have God on your side. Especially when it says in your "sacred" texts that men and women are inherently not equal. That's all too many people know, in too many parts of the world.
If illegal under Bangladeshi Law why is it allowed to take place. This is cruelty for this 13 year old girl. The local Police should stop this marriage taking place.
You see, the thing about it being the local police is that these policemen often believe and support the local culture... so they probably wouldn't be enforcers of the law.
The cops will most likely won't do a thing about it. It has become a cultural habit already. Most of them, especially from the villages, have no proper idea of age of consent, for girls.
@@liammacaodha4783 They could. If they contact to the school where the girl was studing , school atouthority can provide the proof of her age . To get the admition in any school in bangladesh have to provide the birth certificate isuued from local athority ( birth date can be true or fals). Also in this video there is so many information is avoided . Basically Al-jazeera wanted to make an eposode any how . There is so many reason to suspect them . Also the girl could inform her school that her parents arrranged a child marrige . School athority would stop it .
I am also a Bangladeshi and my cousin who is 13 maybe marrying someone. I am afraid that I might be the next target but with the support of my mother my mom brings me to singapore for safety. now in singapore I can fear no more
Truly hope you can find safety here in Singapore. Hope the day you do end up getting married is the day YOU want to get married because you see the best in your man. Amin! I'm from Singapore too!
Also look up the group Karma Nirvana. They're in England but they help girls who may be forced into early marriage. Please do me a favor. Give your Mom a hug from me & tell her that you're lucky to have such a smart & brave Mom who loves you! She rocks!
Raw LawGirl They are both. Learn to distinguish your terms properly. (It's shameful for anyone associated with "Law" to not know how to use terms properly). Abuse can happen in any marriage, and a child bride is not defined by being a victim of abuse. A Marriage to a "child" need not be abusive in and of itself- the husband could actually be kind and loving and entirely not abusive.
I'm a Potato, Condone What? Define and Explain exactly, and precisely what it is you mean for me to admit to condoning. By this I mean Every qualifying trait, and not just a "blanket statement" using vague and unqualified, and undefined terms. Anyone in Law should know exactly what this means.
Are you okay with this happening? Do you not see this as bad or wrong? Which side are you on? Is that a clearer way of asking? My English is bad and I don't want to turn this into a loooooong discussion, argument or fight, Okay?
I disagree, forced marriage is abuse, slavery through domestic servitude is abuse, marital rape with a malnourished girl is abuse, the refusal of the medically recommended c section was as well.
@Toro sharp edge yeah I think you've said that a few hundred times throughout these comments...no ones coming after us for saying these men are disgusting predators that deserve some type of suffering
I am here complaining about how it's hard to achieve my dream but after watching this I need to start counting my blessings and be grateful for how I was raised
What disgusts me most is when she tells the camera that she doesn't want to be a doctor anymore and her new husband looks so full of herself. Sick to my stomach. I can't believe that I just watched a girl lose everything from the comfort of my bed, I'm so sorry for her.
You dont live here. Almost 50% people go to sleep having hunger in their stomach. And yeah, education materials ar kinda fancy here at least for many..
@@mariyabintehafsa2486 so what does hunger have to do with child brides? Because they had a child that's female? Let me tell you, I would rather starve than deal with being raped. I would get a job or do whatever it takes to care for my daughter. By the way I have 2 girls... I thought them to he independent.
Al Jazeera did you guys keep in contact with Beezly? Is there a way we can raise money for her to pay to go to escape her family and go to school? This is so heartbreaking. Her husband should be arrested
for their story they filmed it all and did nothing to help this girl. And then ask her in front of the man if she still wanted to be a doctor, like wtf?!
Yes it's our Bangladesh...where girls dreams are broke like this...I'm a girl also..I'm 18 nd till now study...bcz of my father..cz he wants to me be a police officer...so parents are responsible for early marriage..😡😡
Pori Hossain - I'm so glad your father didn't do that to you, he really loves you. And you speak multiple languages so I can see you're very smart! Good luck to you Pori
ts easy to say it's not right but the problem lies deep within the social and economic structure. Nobody seems to address that . Early marriage is common among the poor and underprivileged families mostly this is not a common trend in the educated middle or upper class. Why do you ask? The middle and upper class can defend themselves with means of money and power keep their family members safe and take care of them . Especially law enforcement agencies are weak and fail to protect weak families. Those families feel insecure and vulnerable and there are many examples like this where girls get kidnapped and harassed and even raped in severe cases. Which means only means of protecting them is to marrying them off so that they are safe. Now the question comes why cannot they these girls take care of themselves? Well again where will they go ? all the journalist who publishes news about this will they ever do something if they live without food ? will they help them if they get harassed ? will the government support them? even in US or Europe young girls are exploited with all their social and economic safeguards. How to solve this ?? They need better education. better jobs. Better fundings and better law enforcement which is unlikely in the near future. And yes you might see this and feel bad but you are not going to do anything. Can you do anything when children of Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Myanmar and Afghanistan die every day? you can not . You just somehow try to justify one thing after another your sympathy does not matter to them. Your laws do not help them in any way nor does you sympathy . Their parents taking the safest bet . They are marrying off their little angels so that she can be safe sadly that is not always the case :(
In 1989, My mom got married with my dad when she was only 17 and half and my father was 23. But time May changed . I got married at the age of 27 and my husband was 30. When I was in college I saw many of my classmates got married against their will or sometimes on their will. But my parents always focus on my study and career. Lucky to have such supportive parents.
the only way to permanently stop these kinds of things is to improve education so these people can advance and come into the modern world and leave their centuries old practices behind
Her mother basically said if you marry your daughter she's not an expense to them anymore making it seem like a burden.. I don't understand why have children if you don't want to care for them anymore.
When she said I can't be a doctor now my heart broke... It's not easy!!! May god give her strength and all others going through such a situation like Hers!!!
@@rarazxra I am hoping she was talking about the group of boys led by the activist whose cousin committed suicide (Keshab Roy). The one who stopped about a dozen child marriages. What's sad is they showed an example of a girl who was saved who wanted to be a police officer and the mother was like, "if I had married her off I would not have to pay for her education." What is surprising to me is the mother doesn't understand that once she is educated and making money she can support her family.
Of course he seems a lot happier than her !! He want's to marry SHE is FORCED TO MARRY !! Give up her LIFE to serve him ! Can't stand " men " like that !
Yuck that disgusting animal that married the 13 year old girl! Brush your fkin teeth! Absolutely revolting person inside and out! My heart aches for these young brides and how their dreams are crushed. Sad!
The Archivist Then what? Go back home make a hot cocoa and tell yourself you have changed the world? Meh you won't even step out of your comfort zone to stop anything like wise much less go to a foreign nation to do something like this plus they will find a new husband for her
Even an advanced country like USA has this problem. And in Bangladesh Child marriages only occur in the urban uneducated communities. Educated part of the nation don't have this problem.
It is suprisingly common in bangladesh As a bangladeshi i feel ashamed that the police are so weak and corrupt there. 1/4 is like that and only 1/2 of that is reported
I just think that it's horrible that females are less valued in these types of countries just because they do not have so strong of psychical strength. Females are capable of being special in their own ways.
@emma butcher, its very hypocritical for you to say "women are less valued in these types of countries", because women are less valued in almost every country. I'm sure you will find examples of it in your country too. But Bangladesh does set one big example of women empowerment, that it has a women prime minister and the two most influential political parties are run by women. so what you see in this video is not about value of women, its about what happens when there is a lack of opportunity and education.
@Max Abir, I've already known about that. And I don't find what I said to be hypocritical: because a bit of Bangladesh treats women as unequal: compared to males. I've read about that.
You raised a daughter to make her something big for community, not marry her off because you can't pay for expenses. There are scholarships. And organizations that help with those. Why did u even bother raising a daughter when in the end your just going to exile her to marry a man she just met?
gabriella joyce they are uneducated and don't have the option of her getting a scholarship living in that village. That's a fairy tale for them, it's heartbreaking but it's just the way it is there.
the crazy part is she is complaining about education expenses but if she were a boy she'd still have to pay for the expenses. it's only cuz its easier to get rid of a girl.
I am Indian, my mother was in the 5th grade when she got married. The situation is changing, at least where I belong, Uttar Pradesh (Northern India). I hope that conditions change in Bangladesh as well. I don't know if the situation has improved in 2023. I felt very sad for the poor girl. Before the wedding, a promise was made to let her study, but after marriage, her husband is laughing at her by saying she is child. I don't know why God treats good people like that. I hope that the poor girl is happy. Seeing the boy laughing, I feel very sad. Humanity seems to be non-existent in this world.
I'm Bangladeshi, I was born in London though and grateful to have been born here and not Bangladesh. It's so heartbreaking knowing what young girls are going through.
Usually the police knows, they are corrupt and for a small amount of money from a girl’s family they will condone this practice, they also grew up in this community and have the same mentality
無理だぞ which part is it to you that funny ? Child marriage is Abusive and it's sad to see all these young girls losing their childhood years to be trapped in marriages to much older men , that to you is funny ?
Nadiya Ve It’s not that easy. we would think the police would just come in and help but it doesn’t happen like that. Informing the police puts her life in more danger.
They did. Who do you think tipped off the authorities the first time? They just didn’t dare try again because then they would have been made to leave and not speak to Beezly.
Blame the parents. Parents should know best. They are running to their responsibilities as a parent, then they just let their daughters to get married at early age. So sad. So depressing.
shinita_ princess They don’t know better because they went through the same thing. Education and raising awareness is the main thing we need to work on, not blaming the parents alone.
You can blame them... But this mentality has been engraved in their mind by society actually, So, you can't just blame some individuals really. It's the overall mentality of society And if they really believe that women aren't capable of earning ,they will not spend anymore money on them then needed until the day they can just marry them off. I am just hoping our people's mentality change in the future for the better
So many women die, but OMG one guy might die? Seriously, you actually are concerned about ONE MAN. What about all the women who are forced to live a life of suffering because of MEN. What about his cousin who killed herself and all the other women who kill themselves? Thank God he was moved by his cousins death, he has a good soul. All the worlds problems are created BY MEN. It's about time some of us stand up and fix the problems created by pigs, pedophile, men. There is more HONOR in dying to protect the rights of the oppressed then to sit and do nothing. Good for him, I hope he continues to stop these disgusting child marriages. I think it is wonderful that he is influencing young boys to follow in his foot steps. That is how you change society, by raising boys to be good men, not the garbage excuse for men in Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, and everywhere else. He knows he is putting his life at risk, all the more reason to support him.
@@Drkajavab his life is important too, he's just pointing out some families don't take kindly to strangers interrupting their daughters wedding. This isn't a men vs women issue, this is a cultural and societal issue.
I feel really sad and sorry for beezly she wanted to be a doctor but after married she changed her mind now 😞😞, I hope that kind of tradition is gone and break, so no one younger girls broke their dreams,
Am I the only one who thinks that the recording crew should've um.. I don't know.. Called the police??? If there was an entire crew against this, including an interviewer, wouldn't you think they'd want to tip this ILLEGAL ACT to the police, rather than document it???
Candy Banaenae the laws are different there to western societies. its not that easy, they could be putting themselves and the girls in danger by doing that.
Candybanaenae my thoughts exactly! And then take the girl to America so she can be free and make her dreams come true. Her family obviously doesn't care so she shouldn't stay with them coz they'd probably keep on trying to marry her off or would punish her for "shaming" them. I literally cried that those girls are being raped and enslaved, and it's seen as normal. It's absolutely disgusting 😠😢
Oh, please. If they tried to bring this girl to America, everyone would be throwing a fit screaming "illegal immigrant" and that they don't want her because their taxes will be used to pay for her. It's awful...
Leah Hill a lot of young women from countries like india and Africa had to do that. They just had help with paperwork and so managed to stay. It is awful that we live in such a world where no matter what we do a group of people will always be yapping nonsense , but the change starts with one person standing up for another. There are other countries that she could go to like south korea which would most likely be a lot more supportive and easier to get to i guess. There's a lot of amazing stories of strong women escaping from their country and making a life for themselves. I was most reminded of the "desert flower" story about a supermodel of African origin. There are ways and things might be hard but it's possible to make the world a better place. No hate for your comment as i agree that it'd be a likely response she would get from people. Have a good day 😊
Kasia Derkowska I’m sure there are girls who went to America and made it work. What’s sad is they’re still ridiculed while they’re there. I think it’s amazing that they’ve been able to escape. They’re the strongest and bravest women in the world, if you ask me. If I were them, I just wouldn’t go to America. I’d try to find a different place. I just hope things change. You have a good day to.
Some people just give birth to babies just to sell them in a good house (marry them) How shameless these peoples are, these kinds of people don't deserve to be a parent.
Stephanie Francis marriage is a huge thing in eastern culture. I’m 30 years old now living in Canada. If I was in India right now, people will gossip bad stuff about me like something is wrong with her that’s why no one is marrying her.
No, give a dislike, because the director didn't do anything to stop that marriage ! (Jk, do what you wish, but seriously, they could have done something to stop that girl from getting married instead of filming it. They ruined a life to film this)
like the NGO officer said, the government can't do anything because someone makes fake birth certificates. but i wish the government would do something about it tho.
I'm a Bangladeshi girl n it's a normal thing here.......child marriage huh.....tbh the place whr I live or the birthplaces of my parents it's like an honor that getting ur girl married at really young age.even very educated families want to get their boy a very young girl......18 is the perfect age to be their daughter in laws Tbh 22-25 years old girls r like older womens in their eyes I'm 15 n in 10th standard....the marriage proposal started to came in my house since I was in 5th standard.....can u believe it!!! Bt I'm extremely grateful to God that he gave me such an amazing parents that they never ever tried to get me married......no matter how rich n wells honoured the families are they don't care.......watching this got me all teary that if Allah didn't protected me I would have been 1 of this girls......🙏❤🙈🙉🙊
@Twatwaffle Speaks Truth That's a mean thing to say to a girl. Why don't you go get a life. Seems like things are not working out for you and you're just trying to pass the toxicity onto someone else.
It was not Allah that protected you. It was wisdom and compassion from your parents, which their wisdom and compassions were not given by Allah as well
What I still don't understand is why the producers of this show didn't decide to do anything at the end. I am sure they had the money to sponsor her, bring her somewhere else or at least take her to get out as a refugee. I am more mad at the people now who are filming and interviewing this. Its like they were just watching it happen rather than stepping in to help when they could
Give me 5 minutes alone with that jerk who married Beezly. These men take a child because they could never handle a real woman. These who marry a child are the biggest cowards and the lowest of low. I try not to judge a race by the actions of a few, but I truly can't help think of these situations when I walk into a store here with a clerk or owner from one of these countries and feel a bit of anger. I ptay for Beezly to be able to escape this horrible life, and to continue her dream of becoming a doctor and independent of a man to hold her hostage..
Michelle Saavedra it really is devastating. I'm a Bengali myself but born in Canada. Unfortunately back in Bangladesh these things are so common in rural village areas - due to lack of education and a "tradition". You shouldn't just feel anger towards a random store owner, that's a bit too harsh and stereotyping..
Men of any race, religion or creed who marry young girls because they equate youth with virginity & being able to control them need to be put out of their misery. Slowly & painfully. That's how they take the lives of these poor innocent girls.
+madeeha ali you didn't read my post clearly or carefully. I said it is HARD to not judge a whole race based on actions of a few. I do realize and recognize the difference. I think the culture needs to change, that is all I was saying. No hate here. Just profound sadness for people who suffer because of their culture. Reread my post. When I was speaking about five minutes aline, it was with this guy who married Beezly. bte, I have dated blacks and Mexicans, and two of my babies are mixed.
Michelle Saavedra I thought you made a well thought out comment. madeeha ali is one of those sheeples who read the first sentence of a comment or every 3rd word & then they decide what you meant & start calling names.
Omg!😢 I was crying because she didn't want to get married. But she was forced to. Like my culture, the man comes and forces you to go to his house. Now boom. Your married to someone. And if you have a boyfriend they will still force you. But instead of being bineded. You can go back to your parents and ruin their reputation. It's scary. I never dream of getting marrying at such a young age. It forever traumatized the forced girl. Disgusting, using the beautiful girls for their own desires. 25-13. A ugly and huge age gap. Thank god for the man trying to stop the forced marriages. The Asfaia girl looked so happy that she didn't have to be forced to marry. But Beezly looked so sad and depressed for having to marry. Having a baby At 14 is so scary. That's when most girls get their periods and some are having a baby! The girl in the hospital looked so miserable. Suffering for 9 years!!!! And when she finally shows improvement, and her forever binding husband goes and marries another miserable girl!😡😭😱🤢

my parents married happily at the ages of 16 and 20 and moved to London for a better life, which they got, and I'm so grateful. In Islam, it is forbidden to forcefully marry someone. No is no. Idk about Hindu people... but it happens to Muslims too. I just haven't experienced that. it saddens me when I see documentaries like this because it reminds me this stuff still happens and it needs to stop
***** I said it happens to Muslims too. So obviously noone listens. It's usually over land or business or just to get the girl out the house so they don't have to pay for her living there! It's really disgusting.
Rujena Darlinx I know. These people are knoen as TYPICAL Bangladesh people. True Muslims would never do that, These people are doing these out of GREED. People are willing to do anything for greed. It is very sad. VERY SAD.
Rujena Darlinx my gramma who in nearly 70 married at 16. now still with my grandpa. however now in my country legal age to marry is 18 after high school here. if below than that is very very rare. me myself married at 26 and my momma married at 25 which at the age after university.
Alas that even a legitimately consensual relationship along those lines, and even the attempt at it, is now criminalized and stigmatized. Consent should always rule. Alas that Legislatures have thought, in all their arrogance, to impede and impair the right to, and obligation of, contracts.
Their situation angers me. I mean, when you're gonna tie the knot, you both should be mentally, physically and spiritually ready. Ofcourse it should involve 'LOVE'. Gosh. I'm fourteen and oh, it's utterly horrible.
Muriel DBA, that is just your social brainwashing speaking- the fault of ignorant parents, social organizations, and other teachers. No one is mentally, or spiritually, prepared for a marriage. That's the purpose of it- to become mentally and spiritually improved together, until you can improve no more. Biologically speaking, sexual maturity defines the adult of a species- nothing else. Love is great, but Love can grow from nothing, and by choice. And sexual attraction is not Love, because it waes and wanes erratically. Charity, as defined in the Bible, is the only real Love
jasmine bats, You do not understand love. I suppose you have never read a Bible? Love your Enemies. Do good to those who hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you, and persecute you. You cannot see what is in someone's heart, nor can you prophecy the future. Love does not discriminate between ages, in either direction. Says you, there are plans to divorce, and no amount of love on the part of the older partner. Says I, what if I were talking about a young boy and a much elder woman? Your biases revealed. I spake of universal principles, not practices.
Trevor H Um no, Sexual maturity does not define us as adults, For one having a child under the age of 18 can cause alot of problems, you have an enormous high chance of dying from childbirth or getting fistula, or the baby will be pre-me/stillborn. Second, The brain doesn't fully develop until age 25, we're not mature mentally until age 25, however physically we are mature at age 18. Getting your period doesn't mean you're ready to have a kid, you know nothing "biologically", This culture is harming young girls, there's no brainwashing about it. I'm very open minded when it comes to cultures but if it harms or devalues another human it's not culture, it's a violation. If they have a traditional way of living as in girls staying at home and men work, fine, it's culture, but raping them is NOT culture.
PrincessAshley121, Would you like to take it up with the biologists who define, quite explicitly that an adult animal is one which can bear offspring? And the lawyers and judges, who several centuries ago according to that scientific principle, defined marital consent, as existing in one aged 12 years for a female, and 14 for males, when absent an opposing guardian, and lawful contactual consent, by extension, in those of those stated ages? And modern lawyers and judges, who interpret the underpinning principles so mentioned, in law today, wherein it is said that commercial contracts under guardian consent, can yet still be fulfilled by those of age 13, including marriage, where it has not been explicitly forbidden under legislation, according to the Common Law? And even God Himself who made women pubecient at that young age? Don't shoot the messenger just because you don't like the message. Truth is self-evident, when you look at it. Please don't be willfully blind.
Plus the fake birth certificates make it hard to prove the girl's ages. How much is that fraudulent birth certificate? More than a text book? So poor they have to marry children too young but not so poor they can't afford fake documents.
Kipling hey some of these scenes are nowhere near each other and also the camera guys could have found that guy after the marriage because these timelines are almost never matched also her marriage happened very fast.
Keshab is a great man. He is using his charisma to do something really worthwhile. It takes an enormous amount of courage to do what he's doing. Bless him. I hope more will join him to stop forced child marriages.
She's only 14! She had her whole life ahead of her, and they crushed her dreams... She was forced to have a child even though she is only a child herself. Its just awful.
That jerk had promised her he allowed her to study further ..Her dreams are shattered now .well I don't completely blame him parents of bleezy are equally responsible for this ... I feel so sad for her ..
how can a mother see her daughter as a finacial burden and put her into such a horriffic situation..even though it is your flesh.. the baby you carried around for nine months..i am not a mother but i cant understand how..
Never in my life have I ever felt so lucky to be born in an upper middle class family in west bengal. Thank god and I thought my parents were bad because they weren't letting me go out at night alone. I am sorry mamma baba. I wish I could help these girls in any way possible 💔😢
Whats more disturbing is that you guys let the girl's dream get crushed, even if the cops couldn't help, couldn't you make her run away to an orphanage or something?? I don't want to blame you guys but it's just hurting me and if I would have been there I would have tried so many things to save her!
That young man saving those girls is amazing, beautiful person.
well he didnt save this poor girl.

That young man is really amazing. The fact that he have the realization to be different from other men in his country who marry young woman and step up to educate other young men is a big step for a change. Markus Faucheaux right
Markus Faucheaux very right
80% of men are sick creatures.

They are both.

Do you actually condone it? From your comments you kind of sound like you do. I need to make sure.

Condone What? Define and Explain exactly, and precisely what it is you mean for me to admit to condoning. By this I mean Every qualifying trait, and not just a "blanket statement" using vague and unqualified, and undefined terms. Anyone in Law should know exactly what this means.

ts easy to say it's not right but the problem lies deep within the social and economic structure.
They are marrying off their little angels so that she can be safe sadly that is not always the case :(
This is not a marriage, it is a torture.
It is a torturous slavery of innocent children.
Look at him smile how he screwed her over out of being a doctor.
How can we stop this? This needs to stop. No person should ever be forced to marry someone! And girls that young should be in school not marrying!
the only way to permanently stop these kinds of things is to improve education so these people can advance and come into the modern world and leave their centuries old practices behind

I just think that it's horrible that females are less valued in these types of countries just because they do not have so strong of psychical strength. Females are capable of being special in their own ways.
emma butcher You know, we only give birth to humanity, but you know, we're worthless and a burden.
I'm sorry you feel that way about your own gender. :(
emma butcher I agree with you
@emma butcher, its very hypocritical for you to say "women are less valued in these types of countries", because women are less valued in almost every country.

That needs to stop now!! That is child abuse!!!
its so sad ,crying
it's not easy unfortunately :(
Some people just give birth to babies just to sell them in a good house (marry them)
How shameless these peoples are, these kinds of people don't deserve to be a parent.
even if they died at least they are married? This man must be mad.
Stephanie Francis marriage is a huge thing in eastern culture. I’m 30 years old now living in Canada. If I was in India right now, people will gossip bad stuff about me like something is wrong with her that’s why no one is marrying her.
This is one of those types of video that you dont know if you should like or dislike.
origamilover01 give a like for the documentary.
No, give a dislike, because the director didn't do anything to stop that marriage ! (Jk, do what you wish, but seriously, they could have done something to stop that girl from getting married instead of filming it. They ruined a life to film this)
if the reporter knew this was illegal why didnt she inform the police of the new secret wedding location? she is a disgrace!
you have a point there.
Most police won't do nothing about it
like the NGO officer said, the government can't do anything because someone makes fake birth certificates. but i wish the government would do something about it tho.
Lysa ali because the police in bangladesh take some hush money and do nothing they are corrupted
Lysa ali why didn't she tell the guy going door to door atleast?
If this is supposed to be a happy occasion, but if you’re crying at your own wedding, I don’t know how happy that is if I am crying at my own wedding
I'm a Bangladeshi girl n it's a normal thing here.......child marriage huh.....tbh the place whr I live or the birthplaces of my parents it's like an honor that getting ur girl married at really young age.even very educated families want to get their boy a very young girl......18 is the perfect age to be their daughter in laws
Tbh 22-25 years old girls r like older womens in their eyes
I'm 15 n in 10th standard....the marriage proposal started to came in my house since I was in 5th standard.....can u believe it!!!
Bless u my dear. Dont be like that parent when u r older. From indonesia
@@Virus-iq3up leave her alone, its not her fault she was born in that country
Good for your parents. It takes a strong mind to oppose a common custom. Please take care of yourself!
Its like they were just watching it happen rather than stepping in to help when they could
Ami Khan they called the local authorities the only reason they didn’t do it a second time was because that could put Beezly and them in danger
I think journalists aren’t allowed to interfere, they are just there to document
She's just one of millions of girls. It's not that easy.
That's what I was saying
@@sofi8074 they can do the little is take beasli to the authorities and and have her tell them and everyone else arrested
+nodak01 Thank you. For anyone who knows me, I am the opposite of racist... maybe the message got lost in translation??
25 year old man want Pure brides who take care of him ?? That say everything
🤬
Having a baby
At 14 is so scary. That's when most girls get their periods and some are having a baby! The girl in the hospital looked so miserable. Suffering for 9 years!!!! And when she finally shows improvement, and her forever binding husband goes and marries another miserable girl!😡😭😱🤢
where are you from?
ts easy to say it's not right but the problem lies deep within the social and economic structure.
They are marrying off their little angels so that she can be safe sadly that is not always the case :(
my parents married happily at the ages of 16 and 20 and moved to London for a better life, which they got, and I'm so grateful.
VERY SAD.
MY MOTHER IN LAW MARRIED AT 13 AND 14 YRS IN MISSISSIPPI USA IN 1952 THEY ARE STILL TOGETHER ..
Charity, as defined in the Bible, is the only real Love
jasmine bats,
You do not understand love.
Miriel DVA it is our indian subcontinent culture so please don't interfere in our matters
PrincessAshley121,
Would you like to take it up with the biologists who define, quite explicitly that an adult animal is one which can bear offspring? Please don't be willfully blind.
respect to the man who is stopping child marriges..... truely that man deserve it
If it's illegal, why isn't the man getting arrested ???
Logirl12 its legali in bangla desh
Niku moni Das wtf. It was mentioned repeatedly in this video that it is illegal for a 13 years old to be married
This is like being a factory worker!
Law isn't enforced
Jayden14 polices in India don't really care.
Why didn't you guys call the police
they wont do anything. it's so embedded in the culture chances are the majority of the girls in the area are child brides.
Plus the fake birth certificates make it hard to prove the girl's ages. How much is that fraudulent birth certificate? More than a text book? So poor they have to marry children too young but not so poor they can't afford fake documents.
Shay Songstress why didn't they tell the guy going door to door about her?
Kipling hey some of these scenes are nowhere near each other and also the camera guys could have found that guy after the marriage because these timelines are almost never matched also her marriage happened very fast.
kyle belle .
Keshab is a great man. He is using his charisma to do something really worthwhile. It takes an enormous amount of courage to do what he's doing. Bless him. I hope more will join him to stop forced child marriages.
love the young man trying to make a difference
She's only 14! She had her whole life ahead of her, and they crushed her dreams... She was forced to have a child even though she is only a child herself. Its just awful.
It is not about tradition anymore when it comes to health, respect and civilization.
He looks like his going to hit her she’s not going to have a good life with him. I wish I could of help her m.
That's a given
I wish someone would've saved this little girl. This is heartbreaking 😭😭😭😭
Why didn't the reporter report to the police. This is so frustrating. What's the point she's making this video
I'm guessing the police in the country this is happening is severely underpaid... so I doubt they care
like in india, the police is corrupted and dont forget , women are non persons. they dont have rights.
Suhana Ahmed corruption
its illigal and will stop the marriage unless the village turn on them
That jerk had promised her he allowed her to study further ..Her dreams are shattered now .well I don't completely blame him parents of bleezy are equally responsible for this ...
Why don't You consider became an attorney and help Your People!
