I believe that the most heartbreaking thing in this documentary is the sheer nonchalance that the poor kids show....they have been so abused they are completely numb to it. I disagree... I think they're fully aware of what they're saying. I was under the impression that the documentaries compensated the subjects, which reinforces their candidacy. This is still one of the most important documentaries out there. Even after all these years i still think of the kids(now young adults) in this docu and hope they are in better places.
