@@josephleishman1982 I disagree, it's not a both ways thing for me. the reason I'm leaning towards the coroner report is because it's their actual official job to sus out what are causes of death, ideally with all the knowledge at hand including testimonies. the only reason I would change my position is if that coroner is discredited by an official.
I'm not assuming anyone is lying until there are facts brought by somone officials to actually prove that.

It seems she wasn't the one who broke the window and, according to the two men in the video and other people's accounts, she was actively trying to stop other protestors from entering through the broken window.
Maybe that wasn't the case, I don't know for sure, but the fact is neither does Destiny, and neither do you.

I work in EMS. I’ve been in the field and the ER. You can’t treat a stroke on scene. There is absolutely nothing you can do outside of the hospital. There are medicines but if he’s a medic, there’s no way it wouldve been legal to treat that stroke. It’s just not in his scope of practice. Those dudes were absolutely clueless

There is a video of a man begging police to do something about the man breaking the window in the front of the building. Its so disturbing to see ppl laughing and lacking compassion and understanding when these same people also claim to be a victim of that same treatment. I just dont understand how we support one thing when it fits our narrative like the Antifa protest but then treat Jan 6th like an act of terrorism. Just like with the abortion and doctor patient confidentiality( My body my choice) but the Vaccine people were all about allowing the government to take that right away and interfere in someones health and tell them they have to inject themselves with something or they will lose their livelihood(their Job) So much for no government interference in our health. Also, just because you don't hear a verbal warning through a phone microphone over the sound of 200+ people yelling doesn't mean one wasn't given.
A verbal warning isn't even necessary either since the officer had probable cause to have his gun drawn in the first place.
If I put on earplugs and sprint towards an officer who has his gun drawn on me, just because I don't hear his verbal warning doesn't mean he can't shoot.

After watching the video of Ashley getting shot, can't really say it was the wrong call. It's upsetting she died from her wound, but if we cannot use force to defend against a destructive and violent mob, then, what was supposed to happen? Lay down and submit?

Maybe not, but anyone with even a modicum of common sense would know not to break into the fkn CAPITAL building where there’s heavily armed officers on both sides of the door, while the door is locked & barricaded. Also that’s another thing people seem to be confused about (well, either confused or feigning ignorance). “Breaking into” doesn’t necessarily mean she broke the windows or doors or anything. Another thing that I coulda swore was common sense/knowledge, but when they say she was “breaking in”, they’re very clearly referring to her forcing entry into the building, ya know, the definition of “break in”. There were two different events they happened on the 6th. One side had the guys pushing into the building with zip tie hand cuffs with malicious intent with camo and body armor.. On the other side there were crowds of grandma's and tourists that were let into the building, barricades were opened and they were escorted into the building. Remember the officer saying "I don't agree but I support your right to do it" as he opened the barricades and let people past him? They are both grouped into the same event and that's where you get everyone talking over each other.
Both groups were there to nullify election results, and openly so. These whole ordeal was criminal in nature.

These guys painted themselves into a corner by alluding to Ashleys "tactical" prowess. I was in the navy and have had bodyguard training and I don't know what the hell she was thinking. But if it's true that the officer didn't announce himself, then that's fucked up and destiny should've conceded that. This obviously wasn't a fruitful debate.
There is multiple videos of the cop giving verbal warnings before firing, as well as people in the crowd shouting that he has a gun. Don't concede to a lying dumb phuck ever. If they didn't hear the warnings that's on them, and it most likely was because they all were pumped up on adrenaline and were having fantasies of what they'd do to any politician that didn't eat up trumps bullshit if they got their hands on them.
I would love to have heard from those guys why they were there that day. What was the goal of going into the capitol building? If it's true they were "let in"(which I doubt is totally accurate), then why were they trying to get in? What possible justification was there for that action? I'd love to see them admit they were trying to overturn the election, but I suspect they'd worm their way around it somehow.

Rushing the cops is an exaggeration, but it was foolish of her to try and get through the window. I'm not convinced using a firearm was necessary, especially considering there were police officers on her side of the doors. If they didn't feel threatened enough to open fire, why would that officer who pulled the trigger? He was in a more defensible position and it looks like to me he could have used alternative, nonlethal methods first.

If the goal is to keep her out of that part of the building, what other alternatives could they have gone with to accomplish that? There were hundreds of people waiting to invade on the other side of the door, and it’s not like they’d be able to hold the rest if they let her get through and then arrested her, because others would likely follow very quickly if they saw her run in unscathed.
Even if unnecessary to accomplish that goal, I have zero sympathy for her. She was given a warning multiple times, while a gun was pointed straight at her. She knew the seriousness of the situation, yet went with the worst possible option. It’s 100% justified morally.
@@DDV1983LS -I think an argument for excessive force could be made, they could have punched or kicked her back first tbh- (actually I change my mind watching the footage again, they had no chance at all to detain or punch her back. She was clearly trying to jump through to remove the barricade and let the rioters through.) Letting her get through to arrest her is an absolute non-option. They only had a handful of officers in the lobby at that time and wasting a single hand trying to detain her would would have been awful. From their POV her goal was to jump in and unlock the doors from the other side.
Also he's fucking lying about her punching the agitator, I just rewatched the full context stream/video and she never once punched any of the guys that broke the windows (there were 3 of them).
